Chapter 18
A couple of weeks later Loki noticed Tony putting up decorations all around the tower with different kinds of flags and rainbows on them.
“What are the decorations for, is it some sort of Midgardian celebration,” Loki asks.
“Yeah it’s pride month I am not sure if you have something similar where you come from but here every year in July we have a thing called pride month it’s basically if you’re part of the LGBTQ community it’s like a little celebration month for you and other people who are part of the community and you’ll see decorations of rainbows and flags all over the place,” tony tells Loki.
“What is LGBTQ,” Loki asks.
“Basically if you’re lesbian gay bisexual transgender pansexual asexual anything like that it comes under it not sure if you use the same words where you’re from,” tony says.
“No, we don’t use those words on Asgard, what do they mean,” Loki says.
“It’s basically if a woman is attracted to a woman that’s lesbian and if a man is attracted to a man that’s gay If a man is attracted to both genders that’s bisexual and if a man or woman is attracted to any gender even people who don’t identify as a gender that’s pansexual and if you don’t identify as any gender that’s non-binary and people who identify as both genders that’s gender-fluid It's just a little celebration thing we do I thought I put some decorations up for it as everywhere else has got them,” tony says.
“Yeah we don’t use those terms and there is no celebration. people don’t notice it or they just accept it,” Loki says.
“People mainly accept it here, but you get a few that don’t accept it that’s the idea of this pride month for people that are part of the community they get a time to be proud of who they are and stuff like that I can’t speak for the others really, but I’m bisexual myself don’t know about Nat or Steve, but I’m pretty sure Bruce is bi as well,” tony says.
“I’m bisexual and gender-fluid then,” Loki says.
“That’s fine, we accept it all here,” Tony says.
Later on that day they all have some drinks and discuss pride.
“Oh and I’m bi if anyone didn’t know,” tony says.
“We could tell” Natasha jokes.
“I didn’t tell you so that’s why I thought I’ll tell you and I spend a lot of time with women, so I wasn’t sure if you knew,” tony says.
“I’ve seen the way you look at some men and the way you talk to them, I noticed,” Natasha says.
“I’m not the only one here aren’t you bi as well,” tony asks Natasha.
“Maybe Clint's straight and pretty sure Steve is bi as well,” Natasha says.
“I never said I was,” Steve said.
“I can sort of tell I’m very good at telling and I’ve seen the way you look at some people,” Natasha says.
“Doesn’t matter if you are” Tony says.
“I didn’t say it did matter, maybe I am,” Steve says.
“Well that means most of us are because I’m bi as well,” Bruce says.
“Reindeer games is as well” he Tony says.
“I’m attracted to females, not sure what name you would give that” Amoril says.
“ We call that lesbian some people say gay which is basically the same thing,” Bruce says.
“Am I the only straight one here, not that it matters, just wondering” Clint jokes.
“Thor is as well,” Loki says.
“I don’t even know what those terms mean,” Thor says.
“You’re attracted to females only females which is Straight,” Loki says.
“Oh yeah I love females not in a creepy way in a respectful appreciation way,” Thor says.
Everyone laughed.
“Reindeer game is also gender-fluid, that's what he told me,” tony says.
“That’s no problem, we accept it here,” Bruce says.
“What is gender-fluid,” Steve asks.
“It’s when you identify as both genders you feel comfortable as both” Tony said.
“ Oh okay, never heard that term before,” Steve says.
The next few hours they chat and drink when suddenly a glass it’s hard smashing and everyone looks at Loki whose eyes have gone dead and dim.
Amoril Who is next to him checks on him “Loki you okay”
No reply
“Loki,” amoril asks.
No reply
Thor notices,“ is this another one of the absent seizures?” Thor asks bruce.
“Yeah he will be fine in a minute we should keep talking otherwise it might upset him if we are all just staring at him,” Amoril says.
They all carry on talking, Loki becomes aware a few minutes later amoral notices.
“You okay, you had an absent seizure,” Amoril asks.
“Yeah I’m fine,” Loki notices the broken Glass on the floor.
“Sorry”’ he says, starting to pick it up.
“It’s fine, dont worry about it was an accident it’s only a Glass, it’s not like I don’t have thousands of them”
Loki cleaned up the mess and put it in the bin on his way back to the sofa he fainted, Thor noticed and went over to him.
“Loki, can you hear me,” Thor asks.
No reply
Bruce ran over “I think he fainted he should be alright in a minute I think he’s tired”
Loki woke up a few minutes later.
“I’m fine”
“You’re tired you should get some sleep, if you don’t you can keep having seizures or keep fainting,” Bruce says.
“Fine, I’ll go,” Loki says, too tired and exhausted to argue.
Loki stood up and went to his bedroom.
“I’ll check on him in a little while, just to make sure he’s alright,” Thor says.
“Yeah I think it would be a good idea just to make sure” amoril says.
“I’m going to give him some more medicine tomorrow, just in case he’s out and forgot to say anything,” Bruce says.
They all sit and talk eventually one by one they leave and go to bed for the night Thor checks on Loki just to make sure he’s OK, but he’s fine.
