Chapter 11
The next day they were all talking, discussing things and when Loki started to feel dizzy and had a feeling he was going to have a seizure but didn't want anyone to see, so he got up and left the room saying that he had something to do.
“Do you think he’s OK?” amoril asks.
“ He’s probably fine, I’ll check on him in a bit just to make sure,” Thor said.
“Ok,” amoril said.
Loki got just outside his room when he fainted, and he realized straightway that he was going to have a seizure very soon and a big one, but he wouldn’t be able to get back to the sitting room where the others were before it started, and he wanted to avoid having it in front of them anyway and didn’t want to be in their way in the hallway so got up and went inside his room shut the door, and then he collapsed and had the seizure.
Jarvis noticed and called for Thor “Mr. odinson I suggest you check on MR Loki”
“Who’s that speaking,” Thor says surprised.
“It’s Jarvis my AI it's like a robot I think you should check on reindeer games for Jarvis to suggest it, it must be bad” Thor got up to check on Loki.
“Loki, are you in there,” Thor asked.
No reply
“Are you ignoring me?” Thor asked.
No reply
Thor had a feeling something was wrong, and he checked to see if the door was locked with magic which is what Loki did when they were younger, and it wasn’t which made Thor worry more, so he opened the door and walked in and saw Loki passed out on the floor.
“Loki, can you hear me?” Thor asked.
No reply.
“Loki” Thor called out.
There was still No reply.
“Loki brother wake up,” Thor says, gently shaking Loki's arm.
There was no reply or response.
Jarvis heard Thor and called for Bruce’s help, Bruce arrived 2 minutes later.
“What’s wrong,” Bruce asks.
“I can’t wake him up,” Thor says, starting to panic.
“Did he have a seizure?” Bruce asks.
“I Don’t know, I just came, and he was like this” Thor told Bruce.
Bruce went over to Loki and rolled him unto his side and checked to make sure Loki was breathing, which he was, but it was slow.
“Loki, can you hear me,” Bruce asked.
Bruce received No reply.
“Do you know how long it takes for him to normally become alert after a seizure?” Bruce asked.
“I don’t know I haven’t seen him have any but the one The other day amoril might know, but I’m not certain, but I don’t think it’s this long” Thor says.
“Sometimes it does take people a while to become alert after them let’s give it five more minutes just in case it was a big seizure, and it’s taking him a while to come out of it,” Bruce tells Thor.
“Ok,” Thor says.
A few minutes later, Loki woke out and become alert.
“Loki are ok, ?” Thor asked.
Loki nodded
“ Are You Sure?” Thor asked.
Loki nodded
“Do you know where you are?” Bruce asked.
“Stark tower,” Loki says quietly.
“Ok, good” Bruce says.
“Did you have another seizure because I came here, and you were passed out?” Thor says.
“Probably,” Loki says, sitting up.
“Was it a big one because you were unresponsive for a while?” Bruce asks.
“I think so,” Loki says.
“Ok when you’re ready come to the med bay, and I’ll start the tests we were talking about”
Bruce tells him.
“Ok,” Loki says.
Bruce then left to get some in the room ready to do the tests.
“Are you sure you're ok, you were unresponsive for quite a while?” Thor asks.
“I’m fine,” Loki said.
“Did you have any like this in the prison cell?” Thor asks.
“I don’t really remember, but I think so,” Loki says.
“Let me know when you’re ready, and I’ll help you to the med bay,” Thor says
“I can manage myself,” Loki says annoyed.
He stood up but was swaying badly.
“You have just had a seizure and a pretty bad one, and you look as if you’re going to faint, it’s OK to need help,” Thor tells him.
“Fine” Loki gave in and excepted Thor's help because he knows he wouldn’t make it to the med bay now on his own right now.
Thor put Loki's arm around his shoulder.
“We’re not doing get help,” Loki says.
Thor laughs, “no where not I’ve missed this your sarcasm and being brothers,” Thor says.
Thor helped Loki to the med bay where Bruce was.
“Ok, the first test is a light test is to test if flashing lights set off your seizures so just a warning you might have a seizure,” Bruce tells him.
“I’m fine,” Loki said.
“I’m staying unless you want me to go,” Thor said.
“No, you can stay if you'd like,” Loki said.
Deep down Loki needed him to say he didn’t want to be on his own just in case he had another seizure when he had them, he felt weak and vulnerable but didn’t want Thor to know that.
Bruce did the flashing light test, it didn’t set off any seizures.
“Ok, that’s good.”
“The next test is an MRI scan we have to go to a different room for that one you're not Claustrophobic are you,” Bruce asked.
“No, I’m fine,” Loki said.
“Ok, good, let’s go in the other room then,” Bruce said.
Loki and Thor follow Bruce into a different and see a tube machine.
“You lay on this bed, and it moves into the tube and scans your brain, it won’t hurt,” Bruce tells Loki.
“Alright, fine” Loki said, laying down on the bed.
“Thor and I will be in the room here where the widow is, we can hear you and see you, so if you want to stop at any point just let us know,” Bruce tells him.
“I’ll be fine,” Loki said.
Bruce and Thor go into the other room.
“I’m starting the machine now, the scan will take 5 minutes,” Bruce said.
The machine started, and the bed moved inside.
Suddenly, Bruce and Thor heard a crashing sound coming from a different room.
“I wonder what that was,” Bruce said.
“I’ll check it out back in a minute,” Thor told Bruce.
“Ok,” Bruce said.
“Thor's just going to go and see what that noise's, and he’ll be back in a minute everything is fine,” Bruce tells Loki but unknown to Bruce Loki couldn’t hear him as he had gone into an absent seizure which Bruce noticed pretty quickly on the monitor and stopped the machine and got Loki out.
“Loki, can you hear me,” Bruce asked.
No reply
Bruce turned Loki onto his side, just in case he went into a full seizure, otherwise known as a tonic clinic seizure.
Loki started to become aware minutes later.
“Where’s Thor,” Loki said quietly
“I don’t think you heard me when I told you he’s gone to go and see what the bang was, he will be back in a minute,” Bruce said.
“Ok,” Loki said, sitting up.
“You sure you're ok,” Bruce asked.
“I’m fine” Loki replied.
“Ok, we can finish the test when Thor gets back if you'd like,” Bruce tells him.
“Yeah, okay,” Loki said.
A few minutes later, Thor comes back, but he’s not alone.
