Chapter 10
A week after arriving on Midgard, Nick Fury arrived with shield agents.
“Thor, Odinson” fury called out.
“Fury,” Thor said.
“I've heard that your brother is back, care to tell me why you didn’t inform us of his arrival?” Fury asked.
“We haven’t been back long, there were some things I wanted to sort out before you arrived,” Thor told fury.
“Loki of Asgard is not welcome here,” Fury told Thor.
“He’s my brother. I want him to stay here. I won't let him hurt him. You can trust me. I'm an avenger, something is wrong with him, and he needs help. He will die if I take him home. I get that you aren't concerned about that, but I am I get you don’t trust him or like him because of what he did, but this is the only place I had to take him,” Thor told fury.
“Loki is dangerous. He must be taken into custody,” fury said.
“Please, He needs help. Something is wrong with him. This is the only place I had to take him to try to find out what’s wrong. He could die if I don’t find out what’s wrong and get him help. He's the only family I have left,” Thor said. “Please give Loki a chance at staying,” Thor asks. “He’s been here a week, and he hasn’t hurt any of the avengers or laid a single finger on them, that must show something he has no interest in hurting any of them,” Thor tells fury.
“Just because he hasn’t hurt anyone yet doesn’t mean he won't.“ Fury told Thor. “I cannot risk allowing him permanent residence then having him put people in danger, Also there are a lot of people that want him either off the planet or dead for what he did in New York I cannot let that go unpunished” fury said.
“It’s not gone unpunished ever since New York he has had some sort of issue, some sort of illness that’s punishment enough I get he killed many people, but this illness appears to be permanent, and it’s pretty bad,” Thor tells fury.
“What sort of illness are you talking about?” Fury asks.
“I don’t know what it is banner still has to do some checks to find out exactly what it is but it’s fits or seizures as banner calls them And they have been happening a lot ever since New York they happen constantly and randomly and as far as banner can see it appears to be permanent Loki also suffers from dizziness and fainting but don’t use that as an excuse to try and harm him because I will not let you in if you try you will be sorry” Thor warns fury.
Fury thought about it.
“This does sound quite bad and if he has now got a permanent injury due to his actions in New York then that’s his own fault and could be seen as a punishment if they are permanent, including the fainting and dizziness and seizures you’re talking about. The most I can offer you is a six-week trial for him, we will constantly monitor and supervise him and make sure he does not do anything he shouldn't, he has to stay in this tower and in this tower only unless given permission or approved by me and that will only happen if it’s on avengers missions, and he is helping them as back up. He is not to leave this tower at all under any other circumstances and if he does or does anything he shouldn't my team and I will know, and he will be taken to headquarters and prosecuted for New York and also for breaking his rules if he steps so much as a toe out of line we will be here, and I will not be so reasonable as I'm I am being now” fury tells Thor.
“He will. I’ll make sure there is no need to threaten anyone,” Thor told fury. “And He has no reason to leave,” Thor said.
“If he does, we will know.” Fury said, looking at Thor, the shield agents followed fury and left.
