Chapter 9
Loki slept the rest of the day, Thor and Amoril checked on him now and again, Bruce told them Loki’s fine, just tired. The next day, Loki woke up and went into the living room and saw everyone sitting there and went and sat down next to Thor and Amoril. Tony was telling everyone about an emergency mission that they needed to go on and had to leave in the next hour, and he needed as many people as possible to go with him. Everyone was up for it, and Amoril offered to stay and keep an eye on Loki, so Bruce could go.
“I don’t need babysitting I’m not a child I want to go and fight with you” Loki shouts
“ Loki, not this fight, maybe the next one, but please just sit this one out,” Thor said.
“Whatever I don’t care, but you're not leaving me a babysitter,” Loki says, but he does care. He was secretly planning to stow away with them and go on the mission.
Everyone was getting ready to go on the mission and Loki was still hiding in his room Thor said He will speak to him when he got back and went to join the others but Unknown to him Loki was not in his room and he had secretly got onto the quintet and was hiding from them, so he could join him with the mission too.
They finally got to the place and started fighting there was smoke and debris everywhere just when They thought they were going to lose the battle out of nowhere someone appeared and saved them and helped them win and once They had won and the smoke started disappearing a little they noticed who that someone was, and it was Loki
“What are you doing here, you're meant to be at the tower?,” Thor asks, annoyed.
“I’m not just going to sit there and do nothing, I’m as good a fighter as any of you,” Loki says
“You could have got hurt I want you safe” Thor says
“I’m fine, someone had to save all of you,” Loki says
“Right fine your hero of the moment let's all go back to the tower now,” Tony says
As they walk back to the quintet Loki starts to slow down and get tired and Thor notices.
“Are you ok?” Thor says.
“I’m fine Just used a lot of magic in the fight that’s all its nothing to worry about,” Loki says
But Thor watches him closely just in case it wasn’t just being tired, when they got back to the quinjet Loki fell asleep on the seat.
“Is he ok you don’t think he’s going to have another seizure do you, Bruce, you said exhaustion could cause them?” Nat asked.
“Not sure but I think he’s just tired I’ll keep an eye on him just in case” Bruce says
Loki was just tired and was asleep the whole way back to the compound.
Thor helped him into the sitting room, and he fell asleep on the sofa, Bruce went to go see Tony.
“I think we should do some checks on him, some tests to see exactly what’s going on. We need to know what we’re dealing with. I'm almost certain it's epilepsy, but I want to know for certain to be able to deal with it properly or at least as best as we can,” Bruce said.
“Yeah I agree, I think it would be a good idea you should talk to point break about it,” tony said.
“Yeah, I’m going to head there now and talk to him,” Bruce told tony.
“All right I’m going to see what Clint’s doing making sure he’s not breaking anything or doing anything he shouldn’t be. He doesn't like Loki being here which is understandable. ” tony told Bruce.
Bruce goes to talk to Thor.
“I think it would be a good idea to do a few tests to find out exactly what’s wrong with loki, and then we know what we’re dealing with it will make it easier to help him,” Bruce told him
“I would be grateful if you could do that for me, I want to know what’s wrong with him, so it would be really good if you could run some tests and check it out, thanks banner,” Thor said.
“ Sure, I’ll just go speak to Loki now about it”
Bruce goes to Loki, who is still asleep in the sitting room on the sofa
“Loki, wake up, we need to talk about your illness,” Bruce said.
“What about it,” Loki asked, annoyed that he had been woken up.
“I think we should do some tests just to see what exactly we're dealing with, then we know. You can have Thor or amoril in the room if you would like at the time, that's no problem” Bruce told Loki.
Loki didn’t want to appear weak but he wanted someone he could trust with him just in case he had a seizure then he had someone he tried with him.
“I do want to find out what’s wrong with me, but I don’t trust you or any of the others, so I want Amoril in the room when you do it”
“OK, that’s fine, but I'll do the tests tomorrow. I just need to check things out. I'm pretty sure it’s epilepsy, but I just won't be certain” Bruce tells him.
“That’s fine,” Loki said.
“All right good, I’ll come and tell you when I’m ready and have the stuff ready for the test,” Bruce said.
“Ok,” Loki said.
Lokis goes to the room tony has given him to stay in and falls back to sleep.
