It's been 7 months since the defeat of Thanos. Most of the Avengers were now living together in a new Avenger facility since the old one was caught in the crossfire of the battle. The facility could easily house 100 people and more which is why most of the Avengers along with their own family decided to move in since it was way cheaper than buying a house or renting. The people that were part of the blip were learning to adjust into the world that has moved on. It had been 5 years to the people that didn’t get snapped away but only 5 months to the people that did get snapped away. It wasn’t easy but that was okay because they have each other to help. Different traditions were made for each day to bond the team closer. Every Monday is a show and tell for the kids. Every Tuesday is a take out night. Every Wednesday is karaoke night. Every Thursday is family game night and Every Friday is family movie night. Saturdays and Sundays are for families that wanna spend time together. Today is a thursday meaning it was a family game night.
“ Ok kiddos, pick the 2 games of the night,” Natasha says. “ And adults pick a game to play later.”
“ Jenga and Charades,” Lila spoke on behalf of the kids of what they agreed to play for tonight. While Wanda telepathically told her girlfriend of what the adults decided to play.
“ Ok, which one are we playing first?” Scott asks as the kids join them.
“ Charades,” Cassie answers as she sits herself between her dad and Hope and curls around Hope’s side who kisses her head.
“ Props, yes? No?” Harley asks.
“ Yes, but you’ll only have 10 seconds to grab it or you can’t have it,” Natasha says. “ Since we have uneven numbers, one group will have 3 people instead of two so now pick your group.”
“ I call Hope,” Cassie shouts, beating her father to it which causes her to laugh when she sees her father pouts. “ What? You always get to be with Hope, plus I don’t really wanna move from my spot.”
“ I am hurt by the fact that you choose Hope over me, “ Scott says dramatically, placing a hand over his heart.
“ Haha! Pick your team Scott until you are left teamless,” Hope says, kissing her boyfriend who immediately responded to it happily.
“ Still here guys,” Cassie says from Hope’s side. The couple pulled away bashfully embarrassed. With the Barton kids, they easily picked their team. Cooper wanted to be teamed with Wanda. Lila with her Auntie Nat but that’s because Nate beat her for Pietro. Clint and Laura were a team. Scott and Ava teamed up since their significant other was dubbed by the kids. The rest of the teams were: Bucky and Steve together, Morgan, Peter, Harley together, Carol and Valkyrie, Tony and Pepper, Bruce and Vision, and Sam and Rhodeys.
“ Ok, are all the teams ready?” Steve asks. He got a chorus of yes. The first to go is the Keener-Parker-Stark team. Morgan would be the one charading while the other two guessed. Morgan picked up a paper from the kid basket. Her first one was Iron Man .
“ Friday, set a timer for 1 minute,” Tony says.
“ Timer set for 1 minute,” F.R.I.D.A.Y. replies then a beep was heard indicating that the time started.
“ Go honey,” Pepper says to her daughter. Morgan immediately points to her dad.
“ Mr. Stark?” Peter guessed but Morgan shook her head. She points at her father’s chest where his reactor is.
“ Iron Man,” Harley guessed, which Morgan nodded at. She gets another paper which is Bird. They managed to get about 6 points before the timer rang.
“ The KPS team has 6 points and all the other teams have 0,” Vision says, keeping a mental score.
“ Ok since Morgan did a good job without props, we won’t have props unless it’s really needed or unless you are under ten years old,” Natasha says which everyone agreed with since there are only two 5 years old playing and everyone else was above 10. It was then the Lang-Starr team that was up next. Scott being the one giving it to Ava.
“ Ok Scott, we got this,” Ava says, hyping up her partner. “ Just do your best and hope that our mind is on the same wavelength.”
“ Yea, yea , we got this,” Scott says. “ You both are going down.” He turned to his girlfriend and daughter who just rolled their eyes.
“ In your dreams dad,” Cassie shot. Scott picked a paper from the adul basket and smirked when he saw what he got. Ghost .
“ Ready?” Ava asks. He nods his head and F.R.I.D.A.Y. set off the timer. He points at Ava.
“ Me?... Ghost,” Scott nods his head happily and picks up another pick of paper.
“ Are you serious?” Clint asks. “ Who wrote those? I mean seriously, that's cheating.”
“ I agree with you old man,” Pietro agreed.
“ You’re just mad that we’re beating you babe,” Ava says as she guessed correctly again. She was actually impressed that they were doing this good.
“ Yea right, this is only the first round,” Pietro shot back at his girlfriend, who threw a smirk his way. Ava and Scott get 9 points putting them in the lead. Everyone was actually impressed by how well the two did.
“ The LS team leads with 9 points, the KPS follow with 6 points and the rest zero,” Vision announced which promoted him to the job of keeping scores.
“ We go next,” Nate declared, which everyone was good with. Nate’s first word is Dog . Nate got on all four and adorably barked which caused a chorus of ‘awwes’. Even though you aren’t supposed to make any sounds they let Nate pass since he’s the youngest along with Morgan.
“ Dog,” Nate grinned at Pietro when he guessed right which melted Pietro’s heart. It made Pietro determined to win just to see his baby broth grin like that again. They match the KPS in points.
“ LS is still leading with 9, KPS and BM are tied with 6,” Wanda and Cooper were up next. Cooper wanted to go on the second round so Wanda was charading. She picked up a paper from the basket and internally frowned at the words. Marry me . Of all papers, it had to be the one that said that. She thought. It was a creative way to ask someone to marry which Wanda kept in mind for the future. She and Nat aren’t ready to get married yet and they’re happy with the way things are right now. They both still need to heal from everything that happened. Everyone in the room did. She could feel Pietro’s mid brush against hers concernedly. She leans into his mind assuring him that she’s ok. Her gaze met Natasha who also had a concerned look. She grins at her letting her know that she’s fine.
“ You ready little witch?” Tony asks.
“ Yea,” F.R.I.D.A.Y. set off the timer and she immediately acted out of someone asking someone to marry them.
“ Marry me,” Cooper guessed, while Wanda nodded her head. Wanda winks at Natasha before going to grab another paper. The sight of Wanda kneeling on one knee was imprinted on Natasha’s head. Her heart slightly races at the fantasy of Wanda actually doing the real deal.
“ You ok Auntie Nat?” Lila asks, snapping Natasha out of her thoughts.
“ Yea honey just lost in my thoughts,” She answers. She feels the familiar brush of Wanda’s mind against her curiosity and is slightly worried. She reassures her that she’s fine. Wanda and Cooper get 10 points.
“ MB team leads with 10, LS follows with 9, and KPS and BM tie with 6,” Lila and Natasha get 8 points. Cassie and Hope get 7 points. Sam and Rhodeys get 5 points as well as Steve and Bucky. Vision and Bruce get 3 points because Bruce apparently sucks at guessing. Tony and Pepper get 6 points as well as Clint and Laura. Carol and Valkyrie get 8 points. So in the first round, MB wins 1st place, LS in 2nd and BR in 3rd. In 4th place is LVD and in 5th place KPS,BM, and SP tie. Team MB goes first in the second round since they won the first. They learn that Wanda is crazy good at guessing. Cooper would do the most randomest action and she would get it in a split second.
“ Are we sure that she isn’t cheating?” Tony asks, not convinced that the little witch isn’t cheating.
“ I really wish she was so we can disqualify them but sadly she’s not,” Pietrro answers. His twin telepathy with Wanda was open meaning he can see everything and vice versa which is how he knew that his twin wasn’t cheating. He would have felt her using her power just like she would have felt him use his.
“ Team MB got 36 points,” Cooper grinned at his partner, giving her a high-five while everyone else groaned.
“ That was awesome!” Cooper exclaimed. “ How are you so good at guessing? “ he cuddles Wanda’s side.
“ Training and practice,” Wanda answered.
“ That’s impossible babe,” Natasha says. “ You and I do the same training and yet I suck at guessing games.”
“ Are you actually admitting to something you aren’t good at?” Sam teased.
“ Wilson, you know what I am good at though?” Sam shrinks back, surrendering not really to have something thrown at him or get his ass kicked during training even more.
“ Tell us how you do it, Wands,” Clint says. “ Help a fellow Avenger out please, pretty please.” Giving her his best puppy dog eyes.
“ But you’d be cheating and the rule says no cheating,” Wanda says smirking.
“ Fuck the rules,” Sam says.
“ Language,” Steve, Tony, Scott, and Clint say.
“ My bad but seriously Maximoff, tell us how you do it,” Sam says.
“ Nope, now let’s continue the game,” they learn that Scott is also a crazy good guesser and his team gets 26 points.
“ Scott and Wanda are not allowed to be a team when we play charades,” Rhodey says. “ Or we are all doomed.”
“ Agreed,” Bruce agrees. Team BR gets 15 points, team LVD gets 16 points, team KPS gets 12 points, team B gets 10 points, team DB gets 11 points, team WR gets 8 points, team RB gets 9 points, team SP gets 13 points. Vision was also a good guesser but since he was an AI or whatever he was, it wasn’t as impressive as Wanda and Scott. Team BV gets 20 points and team BM gets 9 points.
“ The final scores are 46 points for team MB, 35 points for team LS, 23 points for eam BR, LVD, and BV, 19 points for team SP, 18 points for team DB and KPS, 15 points for team BM, 14 points for team B and RB, and 13 points for team WR,” Vision announced. Team MB and LS got prizes. Wanda and Cooper got nintendo switches and Ava and Scot got a 3D StarWars lego: Millennium Falcon Model.
“ Next time, I’d like to have my girlfriend as my partner,” Natasha says, wrapping her arms around Wanda’s waist, kissing her neck.
“ You can’t call dibs,” Lila says. “ That’s not fair.”
“ Can’t I though? I mean she’s my girlfriend, pretty sure there’s an unspoken rule that couples are always partners,” Natasha countered.
“ Just because she’s your girlfriend doesn’t mean you get to call dibs on her,” Lila argued back. “ Besides she’s my sister and I’m pretty sure that there’s an unspoken rule that siblings are before girlfriend or boyfriend.” Wanda laughed at their ridiculous banter of calling dibs on her. She kisses Natasha before kissing Lila’s head.
“ How about Scott, Vision and I don’t play at all next time? That way it’s fair on everyone,” Wanda chimed.
“ But малыш,” Wanda turned in her girlfriend’s arms.
“ Nope none of that,” She says, kissing Natasha’s pout away. Green reflected on gray-green which held so much love and adoration for each other. They’re so deep in love with each other that they wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but in each other’s arms. It was already 8: 30 p.m. way past Nate’s and Morgan’s bedtime so Laura and Pepper took them upstairs to their room to put them to sleep. The only ones that played Jenga were the teenagers who were doing some sort of competition while the adults just decided to bet who’d win. Natasha and Clint betted that Lila would win. Pietro and Wanda betted Cooper. Stark, Rhodey, Sam, and Bruce betted Peter. Bucky and Steve betted Harley. Scott, Hope, and Ava betted Cassie.
“ This is nice,” Pietro said to his twin, his eyes watching Lila concentrate on making sure the block didn’t fall from his spot in the kitchen.
“ It is, I’m glad that you get to be a part of it,” She agreed, laying her head on his chest listening to the steady heartbeat of his matching hers. “ I wanna marry her.” Wanda admits to him, her eyes wondering to her girlfriend who was laughing at what Clint said. Her heart races at the sound of her beautiful laughter. She loves that woman and would do anything to make sure that she’s protected and loved.
“ I know, I feel the same about Ava,” Pietro kisses her head. They talk more like gush about their significant other until the current subjects of their conversation topic called them over. Pietro and Wanda end up winning the bet and the others have to give them 20 dollars each. At 9 they send the teens to their room since they have school tomorrow. So it was now just the adults and the last game of the night: Strip Twister.
“ So who chose Strip Twister?” Natasha asks Wanda as they get ready. They all had to have the same layer of clothes. So they decided on a jacket, a shirt, and for the guys, a compression tank top to act as a bra. Pants, spandex, and boxers.
“ The boys did well Sam, Tony, and Clint,” Wanda answers. She watches Natasha get dress and god all she wants to do is rip it off her and fuck her to oblivion but she had to control herself but she knew she was goner when Natasha decided to put a show for her. Let’s just say every couple was late coming back to the main common room and all freshly showered.
“ Ok, rules,” Pietro says.
“ We only strip to undergarments, and penalty if someone slips they have to drink,” Tony says.
“ Ok,” everyone says.
“ How many mats do we have?” Clint asks.
“ 5 mats but we technically only need 4,” Steve answers. “ Are we doing elimination rounds?”
“ Yes,” Sam says.
“ Ok, couples are a pair so Rhodey and Sam you guys will be a team since well,” Steve says. “ Bruce and Vision will be the spinner.” Let's just say that strip twister did not go well. Everyone was drunk at the end of it.
" We are never going to play strip twister every again," Bruce says even though he didn't even play, he had just decided be the referee and spinner but somehow he was sporting a fractured arm curtesy of Natasha. They learned very quickly that drunk Natasha ranges from affectionate Nat to Ninja Nat.
" Agreed," Steve says. Most of them were sporting injuries somehow but they all enjoyed the night. They all bid good night to each other once the night was over.
