Family is Forever

The sons and daughters of the Scarlet Witch and Black Widow refused to accept that their youngest brothers would be gone the moment their Scarlet Witch mother got rid of the hex that created their brothers. Seven of them refused to lose their Black Widow mother again after just getting her back. So after the fight with Agatha and S.W.O.R.D., they had gone home and gathered into a meeting.

“Mom's going take down the hex which means we don't have a lot of time before mama and the boys die,” the eldest child, Alexandria though prefers to be called Alexa, starts the meeting.

“The Hex would reach here by tonight so we need to come up with a plan to ensure that they live,” adds the 7th oldest, Scarlett, who goes by Carly. All of them rack their brains for anything that could help them save their family but given that the hex was getting closer, they were stressing. Before they knew night was already upon them and they were nowhere close on coming up with a plan. Alexa could hear their mother saying good night and good bye to her brothers. “Anyone got any ideas?” Most of them shook their heads.

It was the 4th oldest, Nessandra, who goes by Nessa, that came up with an idea, “ The quads are life-linked to each other. Right so what if we link mama and the boys to us but instead of a life-link, an existence-link since technically mama is dead so that way if something happens to any of us, they'll still be alive and mom could find a way to bring us back later, yes?” She rolls her eyes when all of her siblings look at her with a shocked expression. She's the smartest one out of all them not that she would ever say that out loud nor did she have to because her siblings already knows it. “Well are we gonna go get mom or are you all just gonna stand there?” Nessa asked them, which got them moving, making their way upstairs.

“Woah, is everything alright?” Wanda asks her kids who were making their way towards her and Natasha.

“Yeah. We found a way to save Mama Nat and the boys,” the 2nd oldest child and the only child who was not related to the Black Widow through blood, James says. Both Wanda and Natasha sigh, knowing how determine their kids can be when it comes to their family. They both know that their children would never give up on family. But they both know that it was impossible, it's inevitable. Wanda had tied Natasha's and their boys' lives to the hex.

“Kids…”

“No, listen, Ness came up with an idea. What she came up with was brilliant,” Alexa says, stopping her mother from saying anything else. “ Mom, you tied their lives to this hex, yes?” Wanda nods her head though unsure what her eldest was getting at. “ The quads, their lives are linked to each other. They have the ability to link someone's life to theirs.” Wanda and Natasha's eyes widened in shock because they hadn't know that their quadruplets had that ability.

“You want them to link mama's and the boys' lives to theirs.” It was a statement, not a question. Wanda caught on to her kids plan.

“Kinda but not to them,” It's her 3rd oldest, Natalia though prefers to go by Yelena, answers, “ We want to link them to me, Ness, and Lex. The quads already are linked to each other, if one of them dies, all of them dies, you know that.” Wanda wants to say no. She will not risk their lives for a plan that might not even work. She won't lose anymore of her family. Natasha also wants to say no to the plan because she can't bear to lose her kids. Her life isn't worth more than her kids.

“Look, mom, we don't have that much time life,” says the 8th oldest child, Hunter. They all look at the window watching the hex closing in. “ We have to do this now.” At that moment, he reminded Wanda so much like Natasha.

“Okay, okay,” Wanda caved in, knowing that her children would do it without her if it meant saving their family and she'd rather be it with her than without her. They make their way to the boys room.

“Mom? Mama?' Billy asks upon hearing them enter the room.

“It's okay baby, we just wanted you guys to meet your siblings,” Natasha replies, turning on the light before sitting down on her youngest son's bed.

“Siblings?”

“Yeah, baby,” Wanda says. On cue, the 8 children introduce themselves to their youngest brothers. They went from oldest to youngest so they didn't confuse the two boys.

“Woah, how come we never met you guys before if you guys are family?” Tommy asks, confused why he has no recollection of ever meeting them nor knowing about them. The 8 siblings shared a look with their mothers.

“Well umm, we had to go away for a while,” Yelena answers. “ And we couldn't come home because we…um…” She struggles to come up with a plausible excuse as to why they were never around.

“We had to help the world,” Alexa jumped in. “ Before you guys were born, something bad had happened.”

“What happened?” Tommy asks curiously. Alexa looked at her Scarlet Witch mother for permission to talk about the Blip and Thanos. When she got the okay, she sat on Tommy's bed, and told him the story of the Snap and the effect it had on the world. While she was busy distracting the boys, Wanda had started the spell to anchor her youngest boys and her wife to their children. It was a huge spell to do especially since it was for 3 people instead of just one which took less out of her but still a lot. The last thing they all saw a bright red light of their mother's power.

Wanda was the first to regain consciousness again. It was done. The spell was complete and the hex was gone. She was standing in the lot that use to be her house. She looks around her to find all of her kids including her youngest boys were there as well as her wife. She lets out a breath of relief because it worked. It actually worked. A minute passes and then another, there was no sign of any of her family members waking up. Panic started to set in after 5 minutes of waiting and nothing happened but before she had a full blown panic attack, she heard her youngest son.

“Mom?” Her heart skipped a beat upon hearing her son's wonderful voice, a sigh of relief leaving her lips as she rushes over to him, pulling him into an embrace.

“I'm here, baby, I'm here,” She mutters against his brown hair, kissing his head over and over, letting the feeling of his little body against hers calm her mind. One by one their family began regaining their consciousness. The moment Wanda has all of her kids and wife in her arms is the best day of her life. She has her family back. They leave WestView behind them, going to Sokovia with both Natasha and Wanda agreeing that they would live in Sokovia during the fall and winter season and live in Russia during the spring and summer season that way the kids would know both sides of their family cultures.

“Mom!” Tommy yells from downstairs. Wanda and Natasha still in their bed. It's been a week since they've retuned to Sokovia. They built a cabin in a secluded area on a flat plantation field. It was a large cabin house that would be able to house 20 people. It helped having kids that also had powers because it advanced the speed rate of building the cabin under 3 days. It took a while for Wanda to get use to not having to worry about controlling a fake reality. It took her awhile to get use to having Natasha being alive again and that she wasn't hallucinating. Everyone in the house were plagued with nightmares of their own so it wasn't uncommon to be hearing screams during the night or the silent sobs that would be muffed by a pillow. Everyone was dealing with their own demons. Wanda felt around the bed for her wife, hearing Natasha hulk before feeling the older woman pull her to her side.

“Your son is calling for you,” She hears Natasha say. She buries her face against her chest.

“It's still morning so he's your son,” Wanda reply. She didn't want to get out of bed but she knew sooner or later, Tommy would barge into their room.

“But he's calling for you so,” Natasha counters, rubbing Wanda's bare back.

“But I don't wanna leave this comfortable bed,” says Wanda who was practically using Natasha as a bed.

“Did you just call me a bed?” Natasha ask amuse.

“Yup,” Wanda says lifting her head so she could look at her wife.

“That's the first that someone ever called me a bed before,” Natasha says before kissing the younger woman. Natasha pulls away before they could get too carried away especially when she can hear their son nearing their bedrom door.

“Nope, kid is right outside the door and I'm not gonna traumatize our kid by seeing us like this,” Natasha says, removing herself from Wanda and made her way to the bathroom to take a shower.

“God I miss when we didn't have kids,” Wanda says, moving from the bed and joined Natasha in the bathroom.

“Yea but you wouldn't trade them for the world,” Natasha says pecking her lips before jumping into the shower.

“Yea, you're right. I wouldn't trade them for the world,” Wanda says, stepping into the shower, wrapping her arms around Natasha's waist. “ You and the kids are my life, my world. I would rain hell if anyone tries to take you guys away from me.”

“I know you would, Моја мала вештица,” [Serbian: My little witch] Natasha says, bringing their lips together. “ Волим те моја супруга док се сав океан не осуши, све звезде не умру и излазак сунца западно.” [Serbian: I love you my wife til all the oceans dries, all the stars dies, and the sunrise west]
