Legacies
Just one last further point which has been touched on before.
EVERYONE who's passed in the franchise has left behind a legacy.
Tony:
Peter Parker - [protege / mentor and father figure]
Morgan - [daughter / only blood relative]
Pepper - [Wife / confidant]
Happy and Rhodey - [close friends]
Avengers [team-mates -- no doubt all those left will feel the loss of their friend and leader]
Steve:
Bucky - [Best friend] - his last connection to his life pre-Captain America -- who's now been left in the current time on his own [thankfully, he's got new friends in the shape of Sam, Shuri, Ayo, Sarah ect.
Sam - [Best friend] - their bond was an important part of the franchise, so much so he left the Captain America mantle to him.
Pietro:
Wanda - [younger twin sister] - shown in WandaVision she still misses him greatly.
Clint - [frenemy] - they playfully taunted each other a few times, but still proved himself during the Ultron fight, and gave his life to protect Clint and the child he was protecting. [Clint gave his 3rd child the middle name Pietro]
Natasha:
Yelena - ["sister"/friend - who will no doubt seek answers for what happened]
Alexei and Melina - ["father" and "mother] - Much like Yelena, I have no doubt they'll be seeking justice for Natasha.
Antonia / Taskmaster - [former enemy] - in Black Widow, it was revealed the key task to ensure Natasha's acceptance into Shield was to kill Antonia's father, and Natasha left her be killed too [or so she thought] - many years later, it's shown she survived and was brainwashed to become Taskmaster - which Natasha freed her from -- as she's till alive, she could appear further in the franchise.
EVERY WOMAN IN THE MARVEL UNIVERSE!! - Natasha was the 1st female Avenger, she is not the last.
Clint Barton / Hawkeye / Ronin --- [RECRUITER - SAVIOUR - BEST FRIEND / FAMILY]:
I've said everything I need to say on the subject:
They loved each other, they protected each other, they trused each other and both tried to die to protect the other.
She was an aunt to his children / he gave his son the male equivalent name of Natasha -- Nathaniel.
He's was shown in Endgame to harbor guilt over her death, blaming himself.
If / When Yelena comes knocking, it's going to be ONE HELL of a meeting / introduction.
I can't / don't want to believe that Clint will be killed - as that would leave more kids without a parent - [Tony / Morgan]
But who knows, I can't see the future, I'm not a witch [Loki quote]
