Aliens have invaded earth with the intention of enslaving all of humanity. However, rescue comes from an unforeseen place. No, not the animals like many on Tumblr have joked about. Rather from beings we had long ago thought were mythical. Vampires, shapeshifters, faires, demons, angels, various cryptids, etc have come out of hiding to fight to save humanity from these invades - even if it’s for their own selfish ends.

A vampire slays all aliens on a bridge with much showing off and little effort, jumps onto captain’s chair and spins on it, smirking. The result is spoiled by him almost falling off the thing; in spite of that he springs up like a rubber toy and lands gracefully on the edge of control console, eyes darting back and forth, deciphering the use of various panels. The smile widens, fangs showing in their full glory as he presses and pulls, engines roaring to life below his feet.

He turns his head at a pitter-patter, sound too light for human’s ear. A fae sweeps in, pristine other than ichor dripping off his blades as he steps over the pools of it, though it doesn’t stick to soles of his boots even when they do make contact with the liquid. He ignores both vampire and carnage around, heading straight for cannon controls. There’s not a slightest hesitation before he turns them around for the nearest unit, which happens to be a heavy fregate, and rays the everliving daylight out of it, causing a small cascade effect when explosion catches a few neighbouring fighters.

“Mark it, Cael” he sniffs, swift hands already guiding weapons at the next target with admirable skill “Keep count, if you please.”

A small cloud of something shows out of nowhere, bouncing enthusiastically off walls, then scoops some ichor and buzzes to the biggest clean wall, lightning-fast painting icons of various types of ships and marking each unit the fae obliterates. The count practically escalates.

The vampire pulls a piece of gum out of one of his numerous pockets and starts chewing it, humming a cheerful tune under his nose while navigating the battlecruiser as if he had been doing it his whole life, tendrils of darkness aiding him when his arms and speed alone prove to be not sufficient. The situation on the bridge seem almost cartoon-like in its ridiculity.

Meanwhile, a seraph and Undetermined intercepted a fregate on another end of aliens’ forces and are causing an utter mayhem, merrily Smiting everything left and right, back, front and centre, Undetermined so chaotic in her maneuvring no one can successfully predict her trajectory, least of all she. How the ship never gains even a scratch, nobody knows.

I see it all; scrying is fun.

“I told you to take me back” I announce to the Prince as I hack the communication unit. The carcass of the Prince is spread all over the floor, his advisors and the rest of his court in similar condition. Some minor parts even stuck to the ceiling. Someone will have a Hell cleaning it, but hey, free spaceship and free spare parts!
