Chapter 3

It was now saturday, I mostly packed what was most essential to me and it consisted on all my clothes, undergarments and well all my shoes, packing these was fairly quick to my suprise. Since tomorrow I was suppose to be there for my schedule, I asked Alexei to send me there today.

"Hey dad?" I said stepping out of my room.

"Yeah solnyshko?" He spoke.

"I was thinking can you drop me off today?" I hesistantly said.

"Sure, Why?"

"I thought it would be a good idea to set up my side of the room before sunday, so I don't have to set up my room in panic mode in time for monday."

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Get your stuff, I'll pop the trunk and start the car." He said taking his keys off the side table.

I headed upstairs taking each of my bags, I looked to my door seeing that Melina was there chuckling.

"Do you think that you can carry all of this by yourself?" she said jokingly.

She grabbed to of my duffle bags, helping me put them in the trunk. I scanned through everything incase I forgot something. I checked my phone to see that it was almost 9 in the morning.

I wore a white tee underneath my army green bomber jacker, I had some black jeans and my black converse. I checked to see if I had my phone and my wallet in my pockets and now I'm ready to go.

I noticed on the way that they forgot to give me my keys, when we got there I made my way through the administrations office to ask for it. The lady there was a bit stuck up, she complained and mumbled inaudible words as she was scrolling to the list of student to find my name but I still managed to get my keys, I stuffed it in my pocket for safe keeping so I don't have to go back and ask for a spare key, sparing myself from embarrassment.

We headed to the elevator remembering that my room was on the third floor. The first floor consists the classrooms, the second and third floor was usually where the student's rooms were located. I carried one backpack and two duffel bags, while my dad has the other two duffel bags, since I started on mid-term I just packed the bare minimum.

We arrived shortly near the door, my dad placed my bags near the wall, he looked at me telling me that he'll wait for me in the car and that I should get to know who my roommate is without him making it awkward. So here I am in front of the door knocking knowing someone was probably in there.

Shortly, a blonde appeared around my age, slightly shorter than me opened the door. She had eyes that look like sapphires, her clothing consists a white sweater with a pair of black shorts. From the looks of it, she interupted from her sleep or maybe she wasn't expecting that I'd arrive this early.

"Oh sorry I just woke up, I haven't noticed that I slept past my alarm even though its saturday. I- erm here, let me help you with your bags." she spoke groggily but managed to wake herself up a bit.

She grabbed the bags my dad left and got in first, I walked inside still carrying the other three as she set them down on top of my bed.

I hesitantly dropped the two bags on the floor, feeling the soreness on both of my arms. Cursing at myself that I didn't set them down earlier. She suddenly turned towards me and spoke.

"My name's Yelena, Yelena Belova." She said extending her hand.

"Natasha Romanoff, and let me guess you're russian?" I said shaking her hand, surprised that we might have something in common.

"Yeah, you're russian too right?"

"Yep, my last name is actually Romanova, but I think Romanoff suits me better."

"It does, and from the looks of it your name is not actually Natasha, and don't worry I don't mind."

"It used to be Natalia but my parents used to call me that, so now I only go by Natasha."

"Used to?"

"My real parents died in a car crash when I was 8."

"I didn't mean to intrude, sorry." She looks down feeling guilty for asking.

"No, it's fine, I have adoptive parents now and they love me enough as much as my real parents did."

"That's great and now that your my roommate and not some weirdo." She chuckled as if it already happened to her.

"I hope that we can get along and maybe become best of friends, now if you'll excuse me, I hear my bed calling for me." She smiled.

I chuckled a bit looking at her as she was making her way to her bed, laying down drifting back to her sleep. I started unpacking most of my clothes, gathering and putting the in the first cabinet.

I placed my shoes on the shoe rack that was built in the closet. I managed to fit all my clothes in there and still have spare room to put mostly my notebooks and bag.

I started putting dark blue sheets on my bed and the grey pillowcases that was probably packed by Melina. That was practically all my stuff, some of my hoodies were on cliffhangers so I don't have to worry about folding them.

I still have some things left to unpack but I thought I might need a little rest so I laid down on my bed and felt myself falling asleep.
