Chapter 4
I manage to wake up and checked my phone to see that it was 11 am, I looked around the room seeing that Yelena was no where to be seen.
I get up feeling a little bit tired and noticed that my shoes were now on the floor and saw a sticky note on my desk.
You fell asleep with your shoes on, and if you're wondering where I am, I headed out to get some lunch. I'll be back at 12. :)

I sighed as I remembered that my dad was still waiting at the car, I finished most of my packing, I went to my bathroom and organized some of the toiletries I had in the cabinet.
I opened my last duffle bag and noticed that there was two plastic bag that contained a pride flag and a lesbian pride flag. I thought maybe Melina packed this earlier when I wasn't looking.
I grabbed some thumbtacks from the desk and hanged it up on the side of my wall, I have to thank her for this later, I hope Yelena doesn't mind this or else it would turn out awkward.
I checked my phone one last time to see that it was 12, so I took the sticky note Yelena left and wrote on the back saying I was gonna grab some lunch with my dad and will be back tomorrow morning.I placed it on her desk next to her unfinished drawings and left.
I locked the door thinking that she has her keys with her. As I walked to the elevator as it was opening, a distracted looking brunette got out with earphones on.
I happen to see that her eyes were like emeralds, I couldn't stop looking at her but I stopped myself or else she'll think I'm a creep.
As I snap myself out, I felt a light tap from my shoulder and saw that the girl was trying to get my attention. I stammered trying to get a reason out but I just ended up embarrassing myself.
"Aren't you gonna get in?" She said in an unfamiliar accent.
"I- uh erm, Yeah uhm sorry, I- uh I didn't mean to uhm stare" I barely got any words out, adding more embarrassment to myself.
"Uh yeah s'okay, uh I guess I'll uh see you uhm next time then stranger... I- uh bye " She blushed and waved as she turned around walking away.
"Well that was painful to watch." A familiar voice spoke behind me.
I turned to see Yelena sporting a smirk on her lips, she had a white shirt on paired with a gray blazer, black jeans and brown boots. I can't tell if she wanted to tease me or laugh at me, but it was enough for me to shook off the embarrasment.
"So Maximoff huh?" She said teasingly.
"How did you even get here?" I tried changing the topic knowing a faint blush was appearing.
"I let you get out of this one this time but next time you better tell me." She laughed
"Well, while you were busy staring at her, the elevator came down and you do know how elevators work right? Then when I arrived here, seeing that you were busy stammering your words off, so I just had to watch and see where it will leads." She mused smirking slightly bigger.
I mentally slapped myself for letting this happen, I was supposed to be composed, calm and collected, and all of that was just flown out the window because of a girl. I mean yeah I found her really attractive but really me? Stuttering? Come on.
"If you'll excuse me, I'm heading down to getting lunch with my dad. I'll probably be back by tomorrow morning, so don't wait up for me." I said still feeling the heat of embarrassment.
"Yeah sure, see you tomorrow, oh and try not to stutter when you meet her again." She laughed, walking away as the elevator doors closed.
I gathered my composure as I walked out of the building and saw my dad in the car, playing on his phone. I knocked on the car window startling him, he laughs it off and opened the front left door.
"You sure took your time unpacking." He chuckled.
"I kinds fell asleep when I finished unpacking, I manage to wake up two hours later and left so we can get lunch" I said hearing my stomach growl a bit.
"Where do you wanna eat then?" He asked.
"How about McDonalds?" I suggested.
"Sure." He simply answered, starting the car and drove.
