“He did WHAT?!?!?” Peggy had been doing paperwork late, when her office phone had rang. She had not expected the George Washington University Hospital to be on the other end, reporting that a Mr. Steven Grant Rogers had been admitted with a concussion.
“He says that he got it fighting during the attacks up town.” The nurse on the other end said, “Captain Rogers listed you as his emergency contact.”
Jesus Christ, Peggy was going to murder that man!
“I’m on my way, and tell Captain Rogers if he gives you any trouble he’ll have me to answer to.”
