Steve made sure to order Peggy’s favorite wine out of France, and order her favorite meal from a romantic restaurant that had just opened down town. The house was lit by candle light, and a when Peggy arrived home, Steve was waiting for her by the door, with a kiss and a bouquet of her favorite flowers.
“What’s all this for?” Peggy asked as Steve pushed in her chair for her, “I didn’t forget an anniversary did I?”
“No you didn’t forget an anniversary.” Steve said, “I just thought I’d spoil my best girl with a romantic date night, I figured I owed you a romantic night, after all I owe you a dance.”
