[from the start the tiktok shows a mess of papers covering a wooden table, and a few colorful pens laying a little further to the left side of that work. though it seems like that moment was somewhere in the middle of a video and the beginning was simply cut out. the entire pages are filled with handwritten chemistry equations, and from the visible in the frame empirical, molecular, and structural formulas each type is written in a different color which makes it clear to read.
“so i’m working on a new project.” can be heard off camera and the person recording lifts his phone just in time to catch tony stark cross his arms across his chest. he’s dressed casually, in jeans and a black sabbath t-shirt that’s obviously stained with some sort of oil or mechanical grease.
“what happened to your other project?” sounds the distracted voice of stephen strange. it comes from somewhere next to the person recording, so the doctor is most likely sitting at that same table as the boy solving his equations, and the man’s question comes off as asked almost automatically, like he's busy with something when he speaks up.
“well, i can have more than one.” answers stark but it sounds weirdly defensive, and he straightens in his spot ever so slightly.
the camera pans to the left quickly until it lands on doctor strange, holding a folder of documents and raising his head, looking unimpressed.
“will you finish the first one?” he asks, though it sounds like he already knows the answer.
the camera moves from the man to the engineer and back as they just stare into each other’s eyes, almost challenging. then it pans to tony stark again and stays at him for a moment before he speaks.
“do not talk to me or my 23 unfinished projects.” his right hand comes off his chest to point a finger at stephen.
“you came here, tony.” comes a reply, though it already sounds quite distant, like at the beginning of the conversation and sure enough when the camera catches up, it shows the doctor reading whatever he’s holding in front of himself.
“i came for coffee, you just happened to be sitting in the living room god know why.” stark answers, and it sounds like he’s walking away, most likely to the kitchen to reach the coffee machine.
“considering i’m pulling an inoperable tumor out of a man’s spine tomorrow… yes, i wanted to look through his medical records one more time.” while the man talks, with his eyes still stuck on the pages before him, the camera slowly zooms in on his concentrated face.
“shit, that’s tomorrow? do you want some coffee?” comes tony’s voice right before the video cuts off, barely catching the engineer’s last word.]
