Meeting the Avengers
“So Dreykov was controlling all the Widows and still is until you expose them to this red dust of yours and you want my help to free the others?” You look at Natasha with question written all over your face. “I know it’s a lot to take in, but yes. Only if you feel up for it though.”. You look at Natasha, a small smile creeps up on your face. “What?” Natasha says with a light chuckle. “Oh, ehm I was just thinking back to our spy days, a memory I guess. We were always such a good team Nat, you and I.”. Natasha smiles back at you. “So that’s a yes then?”, ”Yes”. Natasha notified the team, that they were almost back and if they could gather in the living room so they could all meet the newest recruit.
You and Nat walked into the building Natasha leaning on you since you did stab her in the leg. Steve whistled when you two walked in, “someone did not go down without a fight. Are you both good?” He looks from Natasha’s leg to your face. “I’m fine, just need a couple stitches” Natasha answered. You reached up to your face, in all the chaos you hadn’t even noticed your cheek had been bleeding, the blood all dried up by now. “Yeah I’m good, thanks. Uhm about Nat’s leg, I feel really bad about that...”“I told you, don’t worry about it (y/n)” Natasha squeezed your shoulder. “Let me introduce you to the team. Mr. thoughtful over here is Steve Rogers, aka Captain America.” Steve smiled and shook your hand. “And this is Tony Stark, Iron Man, owner of this entire building and well much more.” Natasha continued. “Nice to meet you (y/n),” Tony says while he shakes your hand “Natasha told me some about your time together as spies. I’m looking forward to what you can bring to this team.” Next in line is Wanda, who eagerly shakes your hand and introduces herself, “hi I’m Wanda Maximoff”. Tony stands up “I have to go now, but (y/n) we have a group training session planned for tomorrow, I think it would be good if you joined us. Even if it’s just for observation.” You nod as he walks out of the room.
“Hey guys has anyone seen my sister? I thought she’d be here” Natasha asks Steve and Wanda. “She went into town, said she’d be back in time for dinner. Let’s get you two fixed up now.” Since Natasha needed a bit more fixing up than you did, Wanda showed you to your room. “This is all yours now” Wanda said as you looked around the room. “It’s a bit empty and boring now, but you can decorate it any way you would like, make it your own.” You thanked Wanda as you went to sit on the bed. “Oh, also I got you some sweats and a shirt, thought you would like to take that uniform off.” She smiled. “There is a bathroom in there, comes with the room, so all yours. Dinner is in an hour and a half, see you then.” You thanked her again as she closed the door.
You did really want to get out of your uniform, so you go to the bathroom and take a shower. When you were done you went to lay on the bed. Tiredness kicked in and you fell asleep, until a knock on the door awakened you. You open the door to see Natasha “Hey, dinner is ready. Thought I’d pick you up, I realized I never gave you a tour, so you might not know where to find the kitchen.”. Natasha nudges you to walk with her. “Ha good one, I also fell asleep and would’ve probably slept though dinner if you hadn’t knocked on my door..”. You smile at each other. “Oh, and my sister is back, I can’t wait for you two to meet.” You were excited to meet the sister Natasha mentioned she had on the flight back to the compound.
As you walk into the kitchen you look around the room seeing the Avengers you met earlier, Steve and Tony sitting at the counter while Wanda is making dinner. They’re all laughing together, which makes you smile. You heard footsteps coming closer. “Come meet my sister! This is..” Natasha says as you turn around. “Yelena?” you ask.
