Summary
Loki is 15 years old, well, 15 midgardian years old, when he falls. He gets plunged into the void, darkness. The place that none have managed to escape, and all who enter, are never seen again. The truth was, he was so...distraught, and so, simply done with life and all it had to offer, tired of the constant torment from his brother, and his brother's friends, as well as the other Asgardians, he just had to leave, so he did. However, things take a rather drastic turn when, instead of dying as he had thought, he ends up in a new world, a world between worlds, a world none knows about, and then also caught up in their version of war, and another dark artifact, with a dark sorcerer. Can he help, but more than that, is he willing to?

Chapter 3

Loki listened intently to what was going on. It seemed as though a dark lord was trying to get this weapon of destruction back to plunge the world into darkness. It seemed rather concerning to Loki, who was not too fond of darkness. Especially since he was stuck on this earth for the forseeable future. It was when the ring was brought out that Loki nearly jerked out of his seat.

What the hell?
That small device? That was dark. More than dark. It was a tool of evil. Loki could feel the malice woven within the metal and strengthened by the golden emblems. He wanted to hurl. It was so much to take so soon after his fall, he was about ready to cry.

"Well then...What are we waiting for?" A dwarf suddenly said, snapping Loki out of his reverie. The idiotic dwarf, impulsive as they all are, struck it with his axe assuming something would happen. What a disappointing day for him. As nothing happened but his axe blade being shattered to pieces. Quite unfortunate. Then of course, the idiocy of men had to speak up.

Loki was not sure what it was about this Boromir, but he could not stand him. perhaps it was his likeness to Thor. Big, Stupid, trying to do something that is just not going to end well. Use this thing of darkness? This thing that was crafted by an evil larger than anything this world had seen? Lovely idea right? No. Then of course, he goes on to insult this Aragorn person. He was clearly some kingly heir, but...unlike with most humans, Loki found he thought this human was intruiging. He seemed much more wise and thoughtful than most humans. He acted more elvish than human. He could not help but be curious about that. And much more when it came to this particular human.

Finally, Loki simply could not take this Boromir character anymore, nor the sudden fighting between the Elves and the Dwarves when it was said they must go to Mordor to destroy this ring because apparently there was a fire there that would be capable of getting the thing destroyed. Lovely right?

"That, that is enough." Loki said softly. Breaking through the climaxing arguments between the Human, Elf, and Dwarf. Everyone shut up and looked at him. It was strange. As though Loki was someone who demanded attention when he spoke. A few of the Elves and that human who had been insulted by the idiot looked at him oddly. He ignored them resolutely.

"I am sorry, and who are you to..."

"Enough." Loki said, whirling on the pathetic Boromir, his anger flashing through his eyes, his voice nothing more than a mere hiss under his breath. "I said." He stood to his full height, which was not that impressive, but about average among what he would say an elf would be. "Do you not hear yourselves?" Loki asked, his blue eyes intense as they scanned those around him. Everyone seemed frozen in place. They watched him intently. Curious as to what he was going to say. Nobody really knew him, though to be honest, he did not know anyone here either. They were mutual strangers.
"You are all fighting over each other. Attempting to talk over each other. Reason is thrown out of the door. You are trampling over yourselves. Do you not see the reason for this?" Loki moved forwards towards the ring. He closes his eyes. "This ring, this weapon of evil. There is no way for you to use it's power to help yourself, as it will only end up helping that whom it truly belongs, this...Dark Lord you speak of, Sauron. There is an evil woven so deep within the very gold that is made of this ring that it can do no good. Even if you wish it to." Loki turned to look at them. "Simply look at yourselves. This is merely a discussion of how to handle this discovery of darkness, and yet you are all insane...gone mad with hatred over each other. This is a time that you should put away your differences and act like mature creatures, and yet all I see are the acts of children. Grow up, sit down, and talk this out like grown adults and mature beings." He said sternly. Surprisingly they found themselves listening to his words. "Now. This ring must be destroyed, not because the Elves want to steal glory, not because the Dwarves are greedy, not because the humans want to see this Gondor fall, but because no matter what you attempt, the only good that will come from this ring is it's destruction. And should you try, it shall only end up turning on you and twisting your good intentions into that of a force in which to help this Sauron. Are we all on one page now?" He asked sarcastically, before sitting down once more. Everyone was staring at him with wide eyes, unable to process what the hell had just happened.

"I will take it." the small creature said. Finally, Loki saw the unity that he had hoped for.

"Nine companions, you shall be called the fellowship, of the ring." Loki stood.

"About time you overcome your differences, and dealt with the hatred that has spanned centuries. There will be no winning this war unless all can get over themselves and work with each other, despite the dislike they may have accumulated to each other."
