The Avengers
Sam, Tony, Clint, Nat, and Bruce were sitting at the bar in the common room.
Thor was in Asgard, but they’d catch him up later.
"Should we tell Steve?" Bruce asked.
"We have to tell him," Clint said.
"It'd do more harm than good," Tony said.
"He has a right to know!" Clint exclaimed.
"And what if we don't find him?" Tony asked.
"We'll find him," Nat said.
"So, the question is what would hurt Steve more?" Sam asked. "It'd be bad if this is sprung on him when we find Bucky, but it might better if Steve's been able to prepare himself."
"We have to tell him." Tony sighed.
None of them were looking forward to breaking the news to their Alpha.
He’d been a mess since Christmas, growing even more desperate to find Bucky.
But he had a right to know, even if they didn’t know how to tell him.
