Daughter vs Mother
When Odalia came around, she felt her body weak.
She shakily stood up, and went to the window.
Amity, who was on the other side of the room, also stood up.
When Odalia saw threw the window, she saw both Titan Luz and the Collector.
She was no fool, she knew her forces stood no chance against them.
"Dam it....so close......fuck ! I...I need to get out of here."
She turned to Amity who was standing up, opposite to her.
"It was fun dear. But I am afraid this reunion will have to be cut short. See you next time !"
Odalia made to run behind her throne room, as she had an escape door there, but...
"NO YOU ARE NOT !"
Amity suddenly tackled Odalia into the floor.
"You are no going anywhere !"
Odalia responded by kicking her away.
Amity groaned and stood up, blocking her way out.
"You little...you dare to hurt me !" Odalia sneers. She tries to do a spell....but she's so exhausted, she can't do it.
Amity knows she is on the same boat. Her body can't do magic for now,
Which means.....they have to do this the old fashioned way.
Odalia made the first move, punching Amity in the face.
"Now you are forcing me to lay a hand on you."
"Yeah well....its not like you did not do it before !"
Amity punched Odalia back, and tackled her to the floor.
Odalia snarled, and elbowed Amity, making her step back from the pain.
Amity covered her face, but Odalia grabbed her and pinned her to the wall.
Amity kicked her in the ribs, making Odalia let go of her.
She whipped some blood from her face, and got ready for the next attack.
Eda gasped from pain, as Terra's attack finally stopped.
"Eda !" Raine said, worried for their spouse.
Eda detransformed from harpy form, and fell to the floor. Raine held her firmly.
"That....that hurt."
"Are you ok Eda ?"
"I...I think I'll be fine."
Terra moved closer to them.
"As always, you protect each other at my cost. You know, at first I thought it was cute, pitiful, but cute. But now...now all I can see is the problems it has brought me. From the day you met, it has all been problems for poor Terra."
Terra summoned a spiked vine, and pointed it straight at them.
"Edalyn Clawthorne, I will finally get rid of the Thorne you are in my plants. All bad weeds have to be taken off...and now its time to do so."
Terra threw the vine at them. Eda held Raine close and prepared for the end.
But....
"ACH !"
The vine suddenly fell down. Eda and Raine watched what happened.
Terra was just standing there....with a spear right threw her chest.
Behind her, stood Lilith, the spear in her hands.
"I will never allow any harm to come to my sister....ever again."
Terra looked at her in horror.
"No...it....can't end...like this.."
Then Terra fell to the floor. All of her plants suddenly vanished.
Raine walked forward, and checked her over.
"She's dead." Raine finally said, no emotion in their voice.
"Good riddance." Eda spatted. "You saved me Lilly....thank you."
"Any time...sister."
"Hey...can someone help me out...I am still pretty sure I have my ribs broken." Steve groaned.
Luz flew to the Collector's side.
"We need to take it down, even tide down, it is still doing so much damage."
She tried to think on the weakness abominations have, what Amity has told her.
And then....she got an idea.
"Hey, can you make it open its mouth."
"Yes why.....no."
"Oh yes."
"That is really brave....but also very disgusting."
"I know."
The Collector made his ropes grab Giganto from the head, and made him kneel over.
Luz dived right in.
"I can do this, I can do this, I can do this...I CAN DO THIS !"
With that Luz entered the mouth of Giganto.
"Ugh......Ugh......ARGH !"
Fire started coming out of Giganto and then..
BAM !
Giganto suddenly exploded, with Luz just were it had been.
"Hey, it worked, it worked !"
"It might have, but we need to do something about the goo that is falling down !"
Luz looked up, and saw piles of goo falling down the sky.
"Shit.."
Hunter and Willow kept digging the ruble out of Gus.
"Gus, can you hear us, Gus !"
"Gus please, make a sign for us, Gus !"
There was silence.
"No, NO GUS, SAY SOMETHING, I CAN'T LOOSE MY BEST FRIEND !" Hunter yelled.
Gus had done so much for Hunter, helped him save Willow, Hunter has to save him.
And then..
A hand came out of the rubble.
"I'm here !" Gus said weakly.
Hunter and Willow gasped in relief.
"Don't worry man, we are getting you out." Hunter said, continuing to dig threw the ruble.
Amity punched Odalia in the face again, making her eye be swollen.
Odalia retaliated by sticking Amity.
"You thought you could actually defeat me Amity !" Odalia yelled, punching Amity again.
Amity fell to the floor.
Odalia stood on top of her, and started kicking her in the face.
"I MADE YOU WHO YOU ARE BLIGHT ! YOU ARE NOTHING WITHOUT ME !"
Amity's nose was most likely broken, and was bleeding constantly. Odalia grabbed her and pinned her against the wall.
"Nothing more to say...heh, of course not, its time to...AH !"
Amity used her distraction to strike Odalia right between the legs, making her let go of her.
"I am nothing without you ?" She said slowly. "Well, you are wrong !"
Amity hits Odalia on the stomach. Then grabs her head and kneels it.
"ACH, YOU BRAT !" Odalia shouted.
Amity did not care. She grabbed her, and started punching her in the face.
"You are not me Odalia. I own you nothing. All you did was give birth to me. As you said, I am your greatest failure, and that is something I am so proud of you !"
Amity kicked Odalia away, making her fall to the floor.
Odalia tried to stand up, but Amity held her down, and kept punching her.
"I AM AMITY NOCEDA BLIGHT. THAT IS WHO I AM. THE PEOPLE I LOVE. MADE ME WHO I AM, NOT YOU. YOU ARE JUST A DEMON WITHIN ME, AND I.WILL. FINALLY. END YOU !"
Amity landed one last defining blow in Odalia, making her scream in pain.
Odalia stopped resisting, and layed on the floor.
Amity gasped, and with the little magic she had regained, she made an abomination blade, and held it at Odalia's face.
"So...you are gonna kill me...."
"I will do what I have to."
"Hehehe....then you are just like me...after all."
Amity closed her eyes, and lunged the blade forward too.
"AMITY STOP !"
Amity turned left, and saw Luz land threw the window.
"Amity don't...don't kill her, please !"
"If...she will keep hunting us, hurting us...I..."
"No she won't....Sweet Potato. You are many wonderful things remember, but you are not Odalia. She would kill without hesitation...you are not like that. Please...I don't want you to have blood in your hands, specially of your own mother."
Amity looked at her, tears coming out.
She...she knew Odalia should be dead but...
She could not do it. She could not kill her.
Amity slowly stood up, and left Odalia behind.
"You will stay here...and wait for scouts to arrest you, so you spend the rest of your life in prison."
Amity limped towards Azura, with Luz going to help her.
"I.....will not allow....to end it like this !"
With her final strenght, Odalia fired a fire blast at....Azura.
"YOU BITCH !" Luz quickly countered it, and threw it back at Odalia.
"AAAAAH !" Odalia yelled. Dodging the blast.
The fire striked the damaged wall, and it finally broke it. Making part of the wall collapse.
Amity walked forward, and kicked Odalia from her family. Making her slide towards the whole.
Odalia slide threw the floor, and managed to grab the edge before she fell.
"Ah...Amity, help ! I...I'm gonna fall !"
Luz and Amity just stood there. Neither been able to move.
They had tried to give Odalia one act of mercy...and she had attacked them.
"I AM YOUR MOTHER AMITY, YOU...YOU CAN'T LET ME DIE !"
Odalia started loosing her grip.
"AMITY, HELP, I WILL CHANGE, I WILL BE BETTER, I PROMISE !"
"...."
"PLEASE, PLEASE SWEETIE, I LOVE YOU, YOU CAN'T LET YOUR MOTHER DIE, PLEASE !"
And then...
The floor gave away, and Odalia fell.
"AMITYYYY !" Odalia yelled, as she fell straight to the boiling sea.
Luz and Amity did not move until they heard a splash.
They both went to check...but there was nothing but the sea bellow them.
Odalia....was gone.
"She's dead...she's finally dead." Amity mumbled.
"She's gone hermosa....she's gone."
The mothers went back to check on their daughter, who was still protected by the shield Amity had made.
She quickly made the shield go away, and she and Luz held their daughter.
"Azura, Azura baby wake up."
Right in cue....Azura started opening her eyes.
"Mama....Mommy ?"
"Yes, its us honey. Its us !"
"MAMA, MOMMY !" Azura yelled, leaping to hug her mothers.
Luz and Amity wasted no time and hugged both their daughter, and themselves.
Their family was finally united again.
"I was so scared..." Azura cried.
"I know honey, but its over. Its all over."
"We are together again Azura...Mommy and I promise you, its all over."
Azura just hugged them tighter and cried.
Amity then started to cry as well.
"Sweet Potato ?"
"She's gone Batata....she's finally gone. I...I'm free."
"Come here !" Luz cried, holding her closer and kissing her. She too started to cry.
For a single moment, the family just held each other. Happy to be together again, and that the demon that hunted them was finally gone.
Hunter and Willow kept digging threw, until they finally found Gus.
"Light...finally."
Hunter sighted in relief, "There you are buddy."
"I...you guys are gonna have to carry me...I think I broke my legs."
Hunter chuckled. "Sure bud, don't worry I'll..."
But then....Hunter saw it.
A pipe had....speared threw Gus' chest.
It was bleeding too much, and there were no healers close by.
"No..." Willow whispered.
For a moment, Hunter did not know what to do.
Then...he kneels down, and held Gus' hand.
"Hey..hey man focus on me."
"Huh....Hunter ?"
"Don't worry man...I am gonna stay here with you."
Hunter gripped his hand tighter, trying to control his tears.
"Is everyone safe...is it over..."
"I saw...I saw Odalia fall." Willow said. "Its over Gus. Its all over."
"Everyone is safe...we did it man. You did it...you helped me safe Willow, and then we managed to do this. You guided Amity too Boscha so we could get answers. All of this was thanks to you Gus."
Gus nodded in relief.
"Hunter..."
"Yes man ?"
"I....I wanted to ask Matt on a date."
"Heh....you will have your chance."
Gus gave him one final smile, and then closed his eyes. His body becoming still.
Hunter felt Gus' grip loose.
He knew what just happened.
Gus....Gus is dead.
Hunter still held his friend's hand, and cried. Willow gently brushing his hair as she cried as well.
They had won....but it had come at a great cost.
