Welcome to the Funhouse
It's the first night in the new house. Everyone has said their good nights and had gone to their rooms to go to bed. The new house was quiet for the first time that day. Everyone laid peacefully in their new beds and were ready for a night of rest after a crazy day....well, mostly everyone.
My room didn't exactly feel like my room just yet, considering most of my things were still packed away in boxes. Thankfully Zemo was able to help me find the box that had my pillow and blanket inside. But even with my soft blanket and pillow I struggled to fall asleep in my room. Bucky bear and Duckie were also by my side and agreed with my sentiment. It just felt so bare with everything still packed in boxes.
After another hour of tossing and turning I finally gave in and decided the best thing to do was to bug my daddies. So I took my Bucky bear and blanket. I left Duckie in charge to defend my room while I was gone. With that I set off to Bucky and Sam's room. Sam snoring could be heard from the moment I stepped into the hallway. Once I entered the room I had to make my way around all of Bucky's moving boxes till I came to his side of the bed.
Bucky, being the badass super soldier he is, heard me before I even got close to the bed. Either that or he was awake from Sam's snoring. It was probably more the second one. "Doll, what are you doing up still?" Bucky asked me concerned. "I couldn't sleep." I said rubbing my tired eyes. "Neither can I with this one." Bucky said gesturing to Sam. "But maybe we can help each other fall asleep together."
I jumped in bed next to him and the two of us cuddled up together. It was no secret that I slept better cuddled around someone and vise versa for Bucky. Bucky could always go right to sleep when I was wrapped up in his arms. I guess I had the magic cuddles he needed to sleep. "Good night my beautiful girl." Bucky whispers kissing my shoulder. "Good night Daddy." I whispered back. After that, the two of us fell right to sleep...despite Sam's continued loud snoring.
It was a chilly fall morning in the Wilson house. Everyone was in their separate rooms trying to unpack the thousand of moving boxes that were sprawled across the floors.
Zemo started to unpack the boxes in his room. As he put it early on when he first moved in, he needed to make the room his own. What Sam and Bucky didn't know was that Zemo brought an arsenal of weapons for future missions including a very fancy gold plated revolver. That was not including the massive sword that now hung on the wall behind his dresser.
I was in my room ripping open each box like it was Christmas morning! I honestly was in such a rush packing I just threw everything together and hoped for the best. Thankfully Sam helped me back my clothes in boxes so they were all nice folded away. I carefully took the folded clothes and put them in their respective places. If they were more for myself in my little headspace they went folded into the dresser, if they were more for big headspace then they were hung up in the closet.
As for my toys and stuffies, they were thrown all onto the floor for now. I first focused on getting my clothes and things together. Bucky stuck his head in and witness the hurricane of toys across my room. "Y/N! What have you done?" Bucky said laughing, trying carefully not to step on anything. "What do you mean? It's organized...just in my own way." Bucky shook his head. "I would not call this organized, and nor would Sam."
Bucky started to help me pick up the toys and plushies and put them into my toy chest. "I thought you were unpacking?" I asked. Bucky rolled his eyes "I was but since Sam and I are sharing a room he wanted to do his own way. So I handed my boxes over to him and he's putting my clothes in our closet the way he wants it to be organized." The two of us laughed. Sam was always crazy when it came to organization.
I picked up a plush Princess Leia doll and put her in the toy chest. But then an idea struck me. I ran over to my bed and grabbed the notepad laying up top of it. Bucky lifted his head and smiled. "What are you up to?" I wrote the thought down then put my notepad down. "I just got another idea for a group Halloween costume for us." Bucky smirked. "What are we going to be this year?" I just shrugged "I don't know yet. But I have a ton of ideas!"
"Bucky, Zemo, can you two come to the living room?" I heard Sam call. I looked at Bucky confused "Why can't I come?" I asked. "I'm sure it isn't anything Doll. Why don't you clean up a bit more while I'm gone?" He instructed but I rolled my eyes. "I'm telling you it's organized." I joked as Bucky walked out of my room. I sighed looking at the mess before getting back to work.
I opened one of the last boxes and found my picture frames. One was from my old bedroom: it was a photo of Sam when he was first made an Avenger, Bucky in the army and the three of us at Sarah's house for the first time. The second was an empty picture frame. I'm saving that one for the new photos of my daddies and me. I especially needed some photos with Zemo.
A couple of minutes had past and I was so curious to what my daddies were up to in the living room. If it was just Bucky and Sam I wouldn't be as suspicious as I am. But Zemo too? That means my daddies were up to something. Then it finally hit me, they were making my new rules. I sighed to myself, this was not going to be good I could just sense it. Hopefully they weren't too crazy, plus my daddies were always open to hear my opinion if there was a rule I was apposed to.
Maybe if I brought my notepad I could distract them from my new rules and focus on something more important, like what were all planning on being for Halloween! I had some great ideas! One year Sam, Bucky and I went as cowboys and cowgirl! And another year I dressed up as Doctor Strange and Bucky and Sam went as themselves...because they didn't come up with anything to match with me.
"Y/N, can you come here?" I heard Sam call out. I sighed knowing what was about to hit me. I grabbed my notepad, said a quick goodbye to Bucky Bear and Duckie before making my way into the living room. It was a bit intimidating walking into the living room with everyone gathered around. Oh almost made me feel like I was in trouble when I haven't done anything wrong....yet.
Sam could see right away I was starting to feel a bit overwhelmed and gestured for me to sit next to him. Once I did he wrapped an arm around me. "Y/N you know why we're here. Since we're working together and now we're back to being a family we want to just set some guidelines for you whether your in your big headspace or your little headspace." He started to explain.
"If you have a problem with any of these rules let us know and we'll work on it together." Bucky added. Before Sam picked up a piece of paper off the coffee table, no doubt my new rule list, I thought maybe I could change the subject. "Instead of talking about my rules I thought maybe we could discuss what we're all going to be for Halloween this year! I have a ton of ideas!"
I lifted my notepad and was about to start reading my ideas off but Zemo stopped me. "Little one, we want you to focus on this for now. Then after we're done you can tell us about all your Halloween ideas. But this is more important right now." But I didn't want to hear about my stupid new rules, I wanted to talk about all my Halloween costume ideas!
"But this is important too! Halloween is right around the corner." I tried to argue but instead recived a stern look from Zemo. I sighed and out the notepad down. Instead of getting punished on my second day back in the house, I decided to pay attention to the three.
Sam picked up the list of rules. "Now before I begin reading these I want you to know that the three of us made these together and we agree on each of these rules. Like I said before, after I'm done reading them if you want to change or ask about one you can." And with that Sam started to list the new rules:
1. Don't run off on your own without one of us knowing. Always try to stay at least within eye sight of one of us.
2. Always keep your pull-up or diaper on, whether you're feeling big or little. No exceptions.
3. If you have an accident tell one of us right away. We don't want you to wait and get a rash or have a big accident that wets your pants.
4. If you have a problem with something always talk to us about it. But remember that as your Caregivers we have the final say in everything. On missions whatever we say is the final word, no arguing about it. We usually don't have to time to discuss it in the moment so you have to trust that we're making the right decisions in the heat of the moment.
5. Don't leave toys laying around all over the place.
6. No cursing.
7. No lying.
8. No throwing things.
9. No using your wings without one of ours permission or it's an absolute emergency.
10. No eating sweets without ours permission.
11. Bedtime is 10 on during the week and 11 on weekends.
After Sam was done reading all the rules he handed me the paper to look them over and really soak them in. It was obvious that some of them were group decisions and some where rules that were definitely made by one of them. Like for example rule 10 was definitely made by Bucky and rule 6 was definitely made by Sam. At least with rule 11 I finally know my bedtime!
Eleven rules all together. They weren't too terribly unreasonable. But I had to try to see if I could change some of them around. "I have a question about rule 9. What if I'm by myself and it's not an emergency but I have to use the wings to escape somewhere?" I asked. "Well then it would be an emergency because you have to escape." Bucky smirked. He knew far too well Y/N wasn't just going to take the rules without questioning one or two.
"That's true." I muttered as I looked back at the list. "But what about rule 11, what if I'm not tired at 10 or 11. Why can't I stay up later?" I asked. "Because it is not good for a Little like yourself to stay up too late." Zemo answered. Biologically he was right, Little require a lot of sleep, it was just something that was just natural with being a Little. Without sleep a Little could be cranky, angry or just plain exhausted.
I sighed knowing they were both right, I was just being my stubborn self as always. I gave the list back to Sam. "I'm okay with the rules." I simply said. I was okay with them, I didn't want to go to bed that early but maybe I could sneak around certain things on that list. Sam smiled taking the list back. "That's good to hear. And if you ever want to see the list it will be on the fridge." Sam got up with the list in hand to put it on the fridge.
"We're also changing your punishments if you break a rule." Bucky spoke up. "First you'll get a warning about it. But if you do it again then you'll either be put in a time out for 15 minutes or a time out for 25 minutes, depending on what you did wrong. How long you're in the time out will be decided by the person giving the punishment." Bucky explained.
This I liked a lot more. First off I liked the idea of having a warning if I'm doing something wrong. Plus if I did it again I had a 50/50 shot of going in a 25 minute time out. I nodded my head to Bucky in agreement with the punishment, like the rules they seemed fair enough. "So you're good with everything?" Bucky asked. "I'm good. It all sounds good." The three smiled and looked relieved. Maybe they thought I'd have a bigger issue with it.
"Sooooooo now can we discuss something much more important than stupid rules? We are a week away from Halloween and we have no idea what were all going to be! Thankfully I've come up with some ideas for the four of us." I grabbed my notepad flipped it opens to the right page. "Okay so I'll throw an idea out and you let me know if you like it or not." I began to say. Sam sat back down next to me as the three started to listen to my ideas.
"First up is Star Wars! Now we can go as three different group ideas depending the movies. For the Prequels: Sam would be Obi Wan, Bucky would be Anakin, I would be Ashoka and Zemo would be Captain Rex." I explained to the three. I mean logically they all fit the characters well. "First off, I don't think Bucky or Zemo have seen the Clone Wars or the prequel movies, second Bucky doesn't have the hair to be Anakin anymore and third I don't think you're going to want to paint yourself orange to be Ashoka." Sam explained to me.
I sighed and nodded. "You have a point." I flipped to the next idea. "Well for the originals I have Sam as Lando, Bucky as Hansolo, I would be Leia and Zemo would be Vader." Zemo smirked to the idea of himself being Darth Vader. But wearing a helmet was something he didn't want to do. "As much as I would like to be Darth Vader I would rather not have to wear a helmet all day." Zemo explained.
Then it was onto the sequels. "Well for the sequels I have Sam as Finn, Bucky as Poe, I would be Rey and Zemo would be Kylo Ren." This would be the perfect group costume for us! Obviously Finn and Poe were a couple in the movies so Sam and Bucky would be the best Finn and Poe. Plus Zemo could still be on the dark side with Kylo Ren and he wouldn't have to wear the mask. Plus I want a fight Zemo with a light saber!!
"Do you have any non-star wars related costume doll?" Bucky asked. He didn't really understand Star Wars as much as Sam and Y/N did. Star Wars was always their thing. "Well I have Animal Crossing ones. You and Sam would be Timmy and Tommy, I would be Isabella and Zemo would be Tom Nook." This also made perfect sense because Zemo is rich and all Tom Nook does is take my bells in Animal Crossing.
"What about if we all went as different M&M's?" Sam suggested. "That's too boring for us! We should go as something that matches us while also looking cool." I said to Sam's idea. "I would have to agree with the little one, I would not like to be an M&M." Zemo added.
"Well the last idea I came up with is to just be ourselves in our outfits. Sam would obviously be Captain America, Bucky would be his winter soldier self, Zemo would just wear his fancy coat and I would bust out my wings and be the Falcon." The three of the looked at each other before they all said "No!" to my idea. "The last thing we need on Halloween is you flying around with your wings." Bucky said.
"Plus it really isn't Halloween if you're being yourself." Sam also added. "Okay it wasn't my strongest suggestion." I put my hands up. "But it was also my last one. You guys didn't like any of them?" I asked the three, putting my notepad down. "I think you have a good start but haven't found the perfect one for us just yet." Zemo said getting up.
"But for now I think we should eat some lunch before we get back to unpacking." Bucky took my hand and led me into the kitchen. If I couldn't find one by the time halloween rolled around they were all going as the character from the Sequel Star Wars movies.
*****************************************
After a couple of days our house was finally settled. There were no more boxes hanging laying around and everyone's rooms started to feel like their own. Bucky and Zemo stayed home while Sam and I went "grocery shopping" for Halloween. We told that to Bucky and Zemo because we were actually going to pick up the Halloween costumes for all of us!
I refused to tell Sam what we were going to be, despite the fact that he was driving me to the store to pick up the costumes. I had him wait in the car while I went in and grabbed everything I would need for their costumes. Luckily for me I ordered them online so all I had to do was pick them up.
I walked out with two big bags filled with out costumes. I threw them in the trunk before hopping into the front seat with Sam. "Why can't I get a sneak peak? After all I drove you here." Sam joked but I shook my head. "It wouldn't be a great surprise if I told you right now what you were going to be." I laughed.
Then we went home. I ran into the door with the bag in hand. "Surprise!! I got your Halloween costumes!!" Zemo and Bucky paused, looked at each other and looked back at me. "It's not Star Wars related." Sam said entering the house. The two looked instantly relieved. "Come on, sit at the table! I want to show you guys!!"
We all gathered at the table and I began to pull out everyone's costumes. "So you left me with few choices but I was able to figure something out. I picked out the best costumes for you guys that both perfectly match your personality and goes well together as a group." I explained.
"First up is Zemo." I fished around in the bag for his costume. "You're going to be my King." I handed him a cape and crown. Zemo smiled and instantly put the crown on. "This is the perfect costume for me. Thank you little one." He absolutely loved the fact that Y/N though of him as a king. He definitely wasn't going to let Bucky or Sam live that one down.
"Next is Sam." I dug through the bag again until I found his costume. "You're going to be my knight in shinning armor." And with that I handed him is costume and plastic sword. (The sword I was definitely going to steal from him after Halloween) Sam smirked taking the costume. "Oh so I'll be the one protecting his butt?" He said gesturing to Zemo. "Not only his butt but my butt and Bucky's butt too." I started to laugh. "Oh well in that case I'll be happy to be your knight." Sam winked.
"Next up is Bucky." I grabbed the second bag and grabbed Bucky's costume. I saved the best for last when it came to his costume. "You're going to be my prince." And with that I handed him his costume and put the crown on his head. Bucky was blushing like crazy, mostly because he didn't like to be the center of attention. But he thought it was so cute that Y/N saw him as a prince.
"You want me to be your prince?" Bucky asked looking at the costume Y/N chose for him. He could've very easily been chosen as the knight because of his vibranium arm but Y/N chose him to be a prince instead which made him want to shower her in kisses. "Of course! You're going to be the Prince and I'm going to be your Princess!"
With that I pulled the last costume out of the bag, my princess costume. Okay, I know being a princess isn't the most badass costume in the world but I really want to feel pretty and my little headspace was dying when I saw this beautiful dress online. After that it was just figuring out what everyone else was going to be. "I'll be a princess, Zemo will be my king, Sam will be my knight in shinning armor and Bucky you'll be my prince! It's perfect! It perfectly fits each of you while at the same time matches everyone." I really out did myself this year!
I took my crown out of the bag and placed it on my head. "Wait hold on a minute." Sam said looking at the three of us. "I'm a knight but Zemo and Bucky get to be royalty?" Sam asked sassy as ever. "Well both costumes were a bit restricting so I picked out a costume that could show off your arms like you always do." Bucky choked on his water hearing me say that. Zemo and I were dying with laughter.
"She does have a point, you do love to show off your arms." Zemo said laughing. "I know she has a point. I appreciate your consideration for my beautiful built arms, princess." Sam smirked and winked. "Of course! Plus in all the stories the knight usually protects the princess. So you'll be my protector all night." I added.
Finally the four of us were settled with what we were going to be for Halloween. "Now that we have our costumes out of the way we have to talk about trick or treating." Bucky said, putting his costume on the table. "I know you're going to get a lot of candy but you can't eat it all on Halloween night." I sighed and leaned back into my chair. "Whyyyyyyyyyyyy."
"Well for starters you get crazy when you eat a lot of candy and then you crash after the candy is out of your system." Sam explained. "Either that or you throw it all up...like last year." Bucky further said. "But this year will be different! I promise!" I pleaded. "I feel like I am missing something crucial here." Zemo said curious to what had happened the year before. "It wasn't that bad!" I tried to add before they talked about what happened.
"Last year we were invited to a Halloween party and when our backs were turned Y/N ate a lot more candy then we allowed her to have. And as a result she came home and threw it all up for hours on end." Sam said crossing his arms. "I knew the little one had a problem with sugar but not to this extreme." Zemo said a bit taken back.
"It's Halloween! It's like a tradition to eat a lot of candy! Plus that was one time! I won't get sick like that this time." I tried to say but Bucky shook his head. "You're right, it won't happen again because we're going to keep a close eye on you when it comes to candy." Bucky said stern. I knew he was dead serious. Bucky isn't strict with many things, but when it comes to candy he is very strict.
"It doesn't mean you're not going to get candy Y/N, it just means you're not going to get as much candy as you'd like to eat." Sam said trying to cheer me up. "Okay." I said still a bit disappointed. "I have a good idea, how about we decorate the house for Halloween? After all it's only three days away." Sam suggested. I instantly lifted my head and nodded, excited as ever to decorate for Halloween.
***************************************
Today is Halloween!!! I've been excited since the moment I opened my eyes! I just wanted to run over to my closet and put my costume on but Sam insisted we get changed later in the afternoon right before we go out to trick or treat. So for now he helped me into a pumpkin sweater and black jeans.
He also insisted I wear a diaper instead of a pull-up for the day which was something I didn't want to do. "I promise I'll let you or Bucky or Zemo know if I had an accident. I just want to wear a pull-up." I said whining as he grabbed a diaper. "Princess it would be better all around if you wore one just for today. We don't know how long we'll be out and if there will be any places to change you." Sam tried to explain but I wasn't having it.
"I don't want to wear one!" I said a bit too loud. Sam was a bit taken back by this but he remained calm. "Y/N this isn't a suggestion. We all talked about this and thought it would be for the best if you wore one. I know you don't want to be in a timeout today before you go trick or treating so let's just get this over with and then we can get some breakfast together." Sam said giving me my first warning.
I sighed looking at the diaper that now sat next to me. I knew there was no way out of this and the last thing I wanted was to get in trouble for being stubborn for refusing to wear one. Because if it got really bad they could very easily say I wasn't allowed to trick or treat as a punishment. And that would just be the death of me. So I had to suck it up and wear the diaper for today.
After getting changed the two of walked into the kitchen to see Bucky at the stove and Zemo at the sink cleaning apples. My eyes widened "Are we making candy apples?!" Zemo turned around and looked my way "Of course little one. After all, what's Halloween without candy apples?" He winked. Zemo was dressed normally expect he had his crown on, ready for his King costume.
"What's with the crown? We're not heading out till later." Sam said as the two of us took a seat at the table. "I know. I'm simply getting use to my part as the King." I could help at giggle to Zemo boldness. I knew he would make the perfect king!
Sam and I shared a candy apple together despite the fact I wanted my own. I knew my daddies were keeping a close eye on my sugar intake. But maybe I could sneak a few pieces here and there. After all it's Halloween! It's all about eating an unhealthy amount of candy!
The day seemed to go by at a snails pace! Every two seconds I kept checking the clock to see when it would be time to get into my costume and go trick or treating. I could sense my constant checking was starting to get to my daddies as well.
"Is it time to go now?" Sam shook his head. "Not yet princess but soon enough."
"Is it time to go trick or treating now?" Zemo looked at the time and shook his head. "Little one, you asked me 10 minutes ago and it's still the same answer. Not until later."
"Can we go trick or treating now?" I asked Bucky as he was fixing something under the sink in the kitchen. "Didn't you ask Sam and Zemo the same question two minutes ago?" Bucky asked. ".....no...." Bucky chucked at my not so confident response "I'll take that as a solid yes."
"I promise Y/N we'll all go out soon. Why don't you watch a movie or show before you head out?" Bucky suggested, which wasn't a bad idea at all....but I just wanted to go trick or treating instead. "But I just want to go and get candy now." I tried to argue.
"I have a better idea for you." Zemo said walking into the kitchen. "We're going to be out late tonight so you might as well catch up on some sleep before we go. I think a good nap is what you need." Zemo said talking me by the hand and leading me to my room. I pulled lightly against his hand. "Noooooooo." I tried to protested, but still followed along.
We walked into my room and he lead me over to lay in my bed. I just sat down and stared at him. "I don't wanna sleep." I crossed my arms and pouted. Zemo tried his hardest not to show how adorable he thought Y/N looked when she was angry. "What if I sleep past Halloween?! I have to be ready to trick or treat!" I argued.
"Trick or treating will not be till much later in the afternoon. I think a good nap before you go out will be best for the royal princess. After all, you don't want to get too tired half way through and miss out on all the candy?" Zemo argued back. He was smart...really smart. He knew he this would get to her little side's logic.
And it worked perfectly because to my little side missing out on candy would the biggest tragedy. I sighed and uncrossed my arms. "I don't know if I can fall asleep though." Zemo smirked "Well that's what your King is here for." I smiled back at his cute response.
Zemo sat and leaned against the backboard of the bed. He grabbed a book from my tiny bookshelf. I scooted closer to him, resting my head on his chest as he opened the story book and began to read. Zemo read with one hand holding the book and the other hand giving me a little head massage. I was no match for the combination and within a matter of minutes I was sound asleep against Zemo's chest.
***************************************
I opened my eyes and stretched out. That was a good nap. I woke up feeling a lot more little than I was before I took this nap. I looked out the window and it was...IT WAS DARK OUT! I jumped up and ran over to the window. Finally!! It was Halloween time! "It's Halloween time princess. I was just about to come wake you up." Sam said leaning in the doorway of my bedroom.
"Time to get my princess ready for the ball!" Sam said as he scoped me up. He paused for a minute before spinning me around and placing me on the changing table. I whined feeling the soggy diaper now beneath me. I preferred pull-up to diaper for this reason! They always dragged down and feel so bulky.
Sam heard my whining and lifted his head. "It's okay, I'll get you changed real fast. Then we can get your dress on for the night." He said as he grabbed my supplies. I knew it was going to be another diaper since we would be out all night. But instead of fighting against it I just let Sam change me into one. Honestly nothing could ruin the excitement I felt to go trick or treating soon.
Sam was super fast getting me changed. Soon I was back in a snug but bulky diaper. My face started to heat up looking down at myself in the diaper but Sam quickly took my mind away from it. He grabbed my costume from the closet. "Your gown my princess." Sam said doing a little bow.
He walked over to me and helped me into my costume. I jumped down off the changing table and walked over to the mirror that hung from my closet door. I gasped looking at myself in the beautiful dress. "Wow!!" Was all I could manage to say. "Princess, aren't you forgetting something?" Sam said.
I turned my head and looked at Sam to see him holding my crown. I walked over to him and he kneeled down. "I now pronounce thee Princess Y/N." He said as he put the crown on my head. And with a little kiss on the cheek I was officially ready for Halloween. "Thank you Daddy." I was practically glowing with happiness.
Sam handed me my trick or treating basket as well. It was a pink plastic pumpkin with a black handle After that the two of us walked out of my room. "I'll go check on Prince Charming and put my costume on, you go check on the King." Sam joked as we split ways. I ran over to Zemo's door, excited to show him my costume. I knocked his bedroom door and soon Zemo opened it.
Zemo was all set for Halloween! He had his crown on....since this morning. But now he has his matching cape on! Zemo paired it with a fancy shirt and fancy pair of pants to make his costume look more authentic. "My! My! Look what we have here! My beautiful sleep beautiful has finally woken up for Halloween." Zemo joked. "You looks so beautiful little one! A real life princess!"
"You look so amazing daddy! You are truly meant to be a king." I said feeding Zemo's already giant ego. Zemo smirked "Well I am technically royalty already. You just moved me higher up on the chain." He winked. "Let me see your Halloween basket." I happily held my pumpkin bucket up to show him.
And with that he took two piece of candy out from his pockets and threw them into the basket. "There you go. Now you already have two pieces of candy to start your night off with." I gave him a big hug before I looked at the candies. Two Turkish delights, his favorites. "Thank you Daddy!" He smiled. "Of course. I have to start your Halloween off right."
"Y/N?" I heard Bucky call from the living room. I immediately ran out of Zemo's room and into the living room to see Bucky. And there he was, dressed perfectly to look like the Prince we all know him to be. Sam must've did his hair because it was all smoothed down. His hair honestly looked like a mix between his 40's haircut and Prince Charming. Bucky looked absolutely stunning.
I was speechless. I just stared at how amazing he looked. Bucky looked kind of nervous. "Do you like it?" I smiled "Do I like it? I LOVE IT!! You look breathtaking Daddy! It's like you're were always meant to be a prince!" I ran over and gave him a hug. I could instantly see him start to relax. "Thank you Doll. It's all thanks to you that I look this nice tonight."
I could hear Sam fake cough in the background to get our attention. "You also have me to thank for your hair Charming." Sam walked out in his knight outfit that...like I previously said...showed off his built arms. I smiled again seeing Sam boldly walk into the room with his costume on.
"You look amazing!! It's the perfect fit for you! My protector!" I said walking over to him and give him a big hug as well. "Well we all have you to thank for all our wonderful costumes." Sam smiled back. He checked his watched "I would say it's about time we start trick or treating." He said and watched as the excitement filled me.
Zemo walked out and joined us all in the living room. "James you fit the role of prince quite well." Zemo winked making Bucky roll his eyes. I could see Bucky was feeling a bit self conscious being the center of attention as the handsome prince he was tonight, so naturally I stepped in to make him feel better. I walked over and took his hand. "Ready Daddy?" Bucky nodded. "Whenever you are, your highness." He smiled back.
The three of us locked up and walked out of the house for the night. Sam grabbed his backpack full of my supplies as well as a first aid kit and my Bucky bear before he left the house. He was always prepared for whatever may come. And soon we were off!
We walked down the driveway and started to see groups of Neutrals, Littles and Cargivers walking around house to house. We walked one house down to Sam's neighbors as our first stop on our trick or treating. And instantly I froze.
There was a lot more people than I expected would be out tonight. The roles seemed to switched between Bucky and I. Where I was once super confident to go trick or treating, now I felt anxious to be in my little headspace around so many people. My shyness started to creep up and I started to hide behind Bucky's tall self.
Bucky, being the amazing caregiver he is, instantly noticed the change in me. "It's your first house Y/N! Want Daddy to walk with you to the door?" Bucky asked me in such a kind and sweet voice. I just nodded, still holding on tightly to his hand, hiding behind him. Bucky took the lead and walked the two of us to the front door of the house while Sam and Zemo waiting on the sidewalk.
Bucky and I stopped by the front door. "Do you want to ring the doorbell or do you want me to?" I thought about it for a second but then asked him to. Bucky rang the door bell and soon the person came to the door. "Oh my! You two look absolutely adorable together!" The older woman said. Bucky and mines face heated up from the nice compliment.
"Where's your basket sweetheart?" The lady asked me. I moved and stood next to Bucky, holding out my basket. "Trick or treat." I said shyly. "Awww! What a shy one. Here you go darling, three pieces for you for being so brave." The lady threw the candy into my basket. "Now what do you say?" Bucky nudged me a little. "Thank you." I smiled. "Happy Halloween sweetheart."
The two of us left the house and went back over to Sam and Zemo. "I got three pieces of candy!" I happily said showing the two my pumpkin basket. Sam smiled "Wow! Three pieces! By the end of the night your basket is going to be so full!" Sam took my hand and lead me towards the next house.
Zemo walked alongside Bucky. "Is the little one okay?" Bucky nodded "She just get overwhelmed when she's in her little headspace in public. She gets very shy. But when one of us helped her through it she starts to come out of her shell." Bucky explained. Zemo nodded. "I must admit, she is very cute when she is so shy." Bucky smiled "For once, I agree with you."
Sam walked to the door of the next house with me. This time I felt a bit more brave and rang the doorbell, but I still didn't let go of Sam's hand. This time a man dressed at Michael Myers opened the door. My bravery immediately disappeared as I backed up and hid behind Sam. Sam chuckled and drew his plastic sword. "Don't worry princess I'll protect you."
I just hid behind Sam and held my basket out. "Trick or treat." I said not even looking at the guy. He didn't say a word, he just threw in 2 pieces of candy into my basket. "Thanks." I pulled on Sam to leave. The two of us walked away from the house. "Thank you for protecting me." I hugged Sam. "Aw! Princess it's my job every day to protect you, but even more so tonight as your handsome knight." Sam joked, putting an arm around me.
Onto the next house! Zemo swooped in and stole my hand away from Sam. *Cue Sam's eye roll here* Zemo lead me over to the next house. It was decorated beautifully! There were pumpkins all around and their porch was decorated with Nightmare Before Christmas decorations. This time the couple who lived in the house were already sitting on their porch waiting to hand out candy. They were dressed as Jack and Sally.
As he walked towards them Zemo squeezed my hand lightly. "Isn't this from one of your favorite Halloween movies?" He asked and I nodded my head. A couple of days previously I had a Halloween movie marathon with my daddies. I showed them classics like: Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Hocus Pocus and Halloween Town to name a few.
They loved the movies! But half way through Bucky fell asleep in the middle of Hocus Pocus, and then soon after Sam did at the begin of Halloween Town. Zemo was the only one who stuck it through with me. It was a nice night together, cuddled up on the couch with a cozy blanket, watching fun Halloween movies with my daddies while it rained outside. It just felt calm.
After everything that happened with our last mission dealing with the Flag Smashers it was nice to finally be able to breathe and have a nice calm moment like that again. Especially with Zemo, because he was a whole new daddy I'm still figuring out. After Sam and Bucky were sounds asleep during the movie Zemo got up and joined me on the couch. He pulled me into his lap and wrapped the blanket around the two of us as we finished the rest of Halloween Town.
It just felt nice. Just to have calm moments like this, to be wrapped in the arms of a Caregiver who loves you so dearly. And to cuddle up to them and know that you're safe and appreciated. I know I say this a lot to myself but I'm so lucky to have the three of them.
"I'm happy you remembered! They have everything decorated to be like Nightmare Before Christmas." I said as walked up. "Of course I remembered. I was awake for all the movies unlike the prince and knight over there." He joked. We made our way to the couple who complimented our costumes.
"A king and a princess! How adorable!" Sally said. I stuck close to Zemo's side but felt a bit more confident than I did before. "I like your costumes. I like Nightmare Before Christmas too." I said to the couple. They both smiled "Thank you so much. It's one of our favorite movies." Jack said. "Hers too. She knows all the song by heart." Zemo added making me blush like crazy.
"Who's your favorite character?" Sally asked me. I thought about it for a second "I like Sally and Jack equally. I also really love Zero the doggie." Both Jack and Sally smiled. "Great answer! Here darling, you can pick two piece of candy, whichever you like." Jack picked up the bowl and put it out for me to chose a piece."Thank you!" I smiled at the couple. "No, thank you for the compliments! Happy Halloween!" Jack replied.
Zemo and I walked back to Bucky and Sam. "They had Nightmare Before Christmas costumes!" I told Bucky and Sam. "Really? That's awesome! You love that movie." Sam said as the three of us started walking to the next house that was a little bit away. "You were awake for that one?" Zemo teased, Sam just rolled his eyes.
I started to look through my basket at all the candy I have gathered so far. It was just the beginning of the night but already I had a lot of candy! Looking down at all the candy made my stomach growl. I took a piece of candy out and turned to Sam. "Can I have a piece of candy?" I said tugging on his arm a little.
"Thank you for asking first Princess. Yes you can have a piece of candy. Only one for now, okay?" I quickly nodded and quickly ate my candy. Now the night was really off to a great start! And we had just started the fun!
*********************************
As the night went on I started to feel more comfortable walking from door to door. I still felt more comfortable with one of them walking to the porch or front door with me. It made me feel safer knowing one of them was close when I got my candy. Speaking of I had eaten about 4 pieces already! Two of which my daddies didn't catch me eating.
We got tons of compliments on our costume choices! I felt like a big shot every time. I knew the assignment well. As we walked down the street we past a group of Littles. One of them was dressed in a makeshift Captain America costume designed to look like Sam's suit.
I pulled on Sam's arm and pointed the costume out to him. "It seems like you're already making an impression on the world." Sam smiled hearing that. It made him feel great to see that costume. To see people appreciating him as Captain America.
We continued to walk down the street. Each house on this block had pumpkin that lined the street. It was really so pretty! I walked with Zemo's and Bucky's hands in mine as we searched for the next house to get candy from. Honestly this night couldn't get bad even if it tried.
"Barnes! Wilson!" We heard a voice yell out. I take that back! I TAKE THAT BACK! I instantly knew where that voice was coming from or rather who it was coming from. The four of us turned around to see Walker and his Caregiver walking over to us. Haha...Walker walking...that sounds funny.
"Would you look at the four of you? Wow! What a great group costume idea." Walker said looking at the four of us. I felt my little side kick in wanting to just make snarky comments. "Sam's a knight, Bucky's a prince, Zemo's a king and Y/N you're a little princess." Walker said making an emphasis on my costume. My little headspace was debating on whether I wanted to hide behind Zemo or make snarky comments back to him....it was option 2.
"Walker what are you even supposed to be? You look like your dressed in your pajamas." I rolled my eyes. Walker just laughed "I'm a Nascar driver." Walker said pointing out the patches on his jumpsuit. "Nascar?" Zemo said confused. "It's like Formula one but very very American. You would hate it." I explained to him.
"I'm so sorry. Where are my manners, this is my Caregiver Olivia." Walker said gesturing to the woman standing next to him. "He has manners to begin with?" I said getting a slight nudge from Bucky to cut it out. "It's nice to meet you Oliva. This is Bucky, Zemo and our Little Y/N." Sam said shaking her hand and introducing us. "It's so nice to meet you. John has been telling me so much about you." She smiled. She seemed really nice. I'm happy Walker has a good Caregiver after what happened to Lamar.
"Hopefully it's only good things he told her." I muttered again only to get another nudge from Bucky. "Well that's great to hear. We couldn't have stop the Flag Smashers without him in New York." Sam said. "Welllll..." I started to say but got one more nudge from Bucky and a stern look. Okay, now I was going to shut up...or at least try to.
"Well we better head off before all the candy disappears. It was good to see you guys! You too Princess firecracker." Walker smirked, I just rolled my eyes and stayed between Bucky and Zemo. Walker and his Caregiver left, walking down the street we just visited. His nickname for me goes through me like a knife "Maybe my nickname for him should be donkey since he's such a jack-." "Y/N!!" All three of my daddies said correcting me.
"You don't want to break one of your rules and have to go home to sit in time out do you?" Sam asked and I quickly shook my head. "Then watch your language. I know you don't like Walker but you don't have to curse." Sam said and again I nodded. He was right...I just didn't want to admit it. And here I thought Halloween couldn't get any scarier. But Walker definitely changed my mind. What a scary sight seeing him.
We continued to walk house to house as the night started to drag on. I didn't want to admit it to myself but I was getting a bit more tired. But there was so much candy still to get! Ugh! Why couldn't I have worn my wings and just fly to every house?! But what alarmed me more was my bladder was starting to annoy me. I had already had a small accident early but I didn't want to have another one and make this diaper even bulkier. But we had to keep on going for more candy! Don't fail me now body.
We came up to someone's house that has a haunted maze to go through to get to their front porch for the candy. I pulled on Sam's arm. "Can we skip this and go to the next one?" It seemed really scary to have to go through that maze for candy. "You don't want to miss this house. They give out full size candy bars to whoever makes it through. Don't worry princess I'll get you through safely." Sam winked.
He took my basket and handed it to Bucky before he picked me up in his arms. "You can hide your face as we walk through." Sam mentioned but he didn't have to tell me twice because that's immediately what I did. "I'm coming with you." Bucky said joining the two of us. "I will...stay here...and wait for you three to return." Zemo said eye the creepy maze.
Bucky and Sam nodded then began walking through the maze. "Who knew Zemo was a scaredy cat?" Bucky joked once he was sure Zemo wouldn't hear him. Sam smirked as well. "See princess? You're braver than a Baron." But I didn't even respond to that. "Is it over?" I said, keeping my face hidden in Sam's shoulder. "I think we're halfway through."
Suddenly some guy jumped out and tried to scary Sam and Bucky. Sam jumped a little, I also jumped in Sam's arms hearing the guy but Bucky didn't even flinch. Bucky just took the lead, getting us through the maze. I lifted my head once to see what the maze looked like inside. It was dark and covered in fake blood. My little side shivered and ducked back into the safety of Sam shoulder. "Please tell me it's over."
"Almost there Doll." Bucky said seeing the exit in sight. One last guy jumped out to scare Bucky but it didn't go well over with him. Bucky's initial reaction was to punch the guy but Sam grabbed his arm just in time before he did. Bucky looked a bit embarrassed, but that how he would reacts if someone pops out at him like that. "Sorry." He quickly said before leading Sam and I fully out of the maze.
"Princess we finally made it out!" Sam said rubbing my back. I lifted my head a little and looked around. It wasn't as scary as the maze but I still didn't feel too comfortable. "Can you get the candy for me?" I said, now just resting my head on Sam's shoulder. Sam nodded and both him and Bucky walked to the porch to get the candy for me.
"Awwww! What a brave princess making it through the maze with your knight and prince by your side." The woman said to the three of us. "Thank you." I said to the lady when she handed Bucky the candy bar to throw into my basket. The three of us were shown the exit so we wouldn't have to walk through the maze again.
Zemo was still waiting out front for us. He smiled as we regrouped. "I think we should call it a night for the princess here." Sam said noticing the tired little girl in his arms. He didn't want to say it out loud in public but he could feel the very squishy diaper beneath Y/N. No doubt she had an accident getting scared in the maze. Thank God he made her wear a diaper.
"Noooooo." I whined. There were so many houses we still haven't even gotten to. "I'm sorry Y/N but I agree. I think we've been out long enough tonight." Bucky added, handing my candy basket to Zemo. Bucky took Y/N from Sam's arms as they began their walk home. Zemo looked inside the little pumpkin. "Little one you're going to have enough candy till next year."
I smiled "You can have some candy daddy. All of you can have some." I said to my three daddies. "Awww, you are too sweet Doll." Bucky leaned over and gave me a little kiss on the cheek. "I will definitely take you up on that offer tomorrow." Sam winked.
As we walked home I got sleepier and sleepier. Soon was in a light sleep on Bucky's shoulder by the time we reached our house. Halloween was a major success! We all looked amazing and we got a ton of candy! Sam and Zemo gave me a kiss goodnight in the living room. "Good night princess sleep well." Sam said. "Good night little one." Zemo said giving a small kiss to my head.
Sam handed Bucky my bear from his backpack before he walked away with me. Sam then took my Halloween candy basket and put it on the highest shelf in one of the cabinets. "Knowing her, she'll wake up in the middle of the night and come to eat some candy while we're asleep." Sam said to Zemo. "I wouldn't doubt it." Zemo smirked, remembering her doing the exact same thing in Riga.
Bucky took Y/N into her room and got her changed for the night. Out of her beautiful princess gown and wet diaper and into a warm pair of pumpkin pjs and a fresh pull-up. Then he lifted her up and lightly put her in bed. She started to stir missing the warmth that is Bucky. Bucky pulled the covers around her and handed her Bucky bear and Duckie. "Oh I'm forgetting some important." He said grabbing a pacifier from one of the drawers and giving it to her.
Now she was settled in bed peacefully. "Thank you for being my Prince tonight." I said before popping my pacifier in my mouth. Bucky smiled "Anything for you my Princess. Good night, I love you." He gave me a kiss on the forehead. "I lwove you too." I said behind the pacifier. Bucky walked out and turned off the light leaving me with my night lights and my star stickers on the ceiling.
Soon I drifted off to sleep. What an amazing Halloween this year was!! I wonder what we will be next year?
