Tommy & Brian
Tommy was nervous. And that was a lot to say because he was never nervous. Never. But now he was standing in front of a beautiful house, which had even more beautiful Christmas decorations, and he felt that his legs would soon stop serving him and he would collapse into a snowdrift. He knew very well what type of people lived in these houses. He lived in it himself until his parents get rid of him. It was when he told them he wouldn't find the perfect wife, a housewife, to take care of the house and their children while he was making money on the stock market. A very friendly elderly couple allegedly lived in this house, but that didn't reassure him much. What if they don't like him?
"I should document this so I can show it to Pepper," Brian grinned beside him, earning a very ugly look from his boyfriend.
"Don't you dare!" He shouted hysterically.
"I'm just kidding," he laughed. "But seriously, it's just dinner with my parents. Why are you so nervous?”
"Why? Do you really have to ask that? Because it's the first time I would see them, and it's Christmas, so it's definitely not just dinner- ”And his panic would have continued if he hadn't been interrupted by the man he loved so much. He knew very well how to silence Tommy. The downside was that only he could silence him with kisses.
"Are you sure about those sweaters?" He asked as they pulled away and he calmed down a little. The only thing that made him nervous now was the awful sweater Brian had forced on him. It was red with green trim, and in the center was a yellow bow to indicate it was a gift. In short, a disaster! He should call the fashion police, hand over the mining item, and beg them to burn the monstrosity.
"Trust me, my parents love horrible Christmas sweaters," he assured him with a bright smile on his face. He was wearing a green sweater, which had a lot of decorations and was supposed to symbolize the Christmas tree. He knew Tommy's worries were useless. He was sure his parents would fall in love with him for the first ten minutes, if not the first five.
"Mother would like to know if you are waiting here so you can become ice cubes," a deep male voice said suddenly.
Tommy and Brian turned to the door, where an elderly man stood with a cigar in his hand. Of course, he was wearing a tacky Christmas sweater, and Tommy was immediately relieved. "Father," he exclaimed cheerfully, imprisoning the man in his arms before continuing inside.
"I said he was a little extra," Brian reminded his father as he approached him, and he hugged him too.
"I like him," was the only thing his father said, then took a cigar and closed the door behind them.
"Did your mom let you smoke in the house?"
"Exceptionally," the older man grinned.
"I'm going to check to see if mom hasn't had a heart attack. Will you pour us some eggnog yet? Tommy longs to taste it. I said you're doing the best in the world, but he doesn't agree. He said his is the best,” he laughed, hanging his jacket on a hanger before heading to the kitchen.
His mother did not have a heart attack. Rather, she seemed to have adopted Tommy immediately, as he was already wearing a cooking apron and enthusiastically helping her prepare dinner. And when his boyfriend wasn't looking, the blonde woman turned to him with a smile and showed him her thumbs up.
In the end, he turned out to be wrong. His parents liked Tommy in the first minute. Just like him, when he needed to find an office to rent, and along with the perfect office, he also found the perfect man.
