Note
Welcome to our Holiday calendar, in which we will focus on fragments from the lives of our heroes in The Devil All The Time series. You can look forward to a lot of characters that appeared mostly in the whole series. The one-shots are arranged chronologically, so you hopefully be familiar with the time period. I won't have as much time in December, so I'll try to release them as soon as possible and you can read them as you wish. ❤️

Tommy & Peter

"One extra chocolate cake and hot chocolate for you," Tommy said with a smile as he placed the things in front of the young Stark. He was in charge of him today and he really liked it, because they really had a lot to discuss. Pepper and Tony have some important meetings. Pf, boring!

"Thank you, Tommy!" Said the ten-year-old brunette.

"Anything for my favorite Stark. Plus, I promised you a celebratory cake when your parents get together, didn't I? Although I must say that I am a little disappointed. They've been together for ages and I only find out now," he said theatrically, which made Peter chuckle. It was always fun with Tommy.

"It hasn't been that long," Peter said. It seemed to him like only yesterday that his dad and Pepper had finally gotten together.

"Please? It's been almost half a year! Christmas is basically just around the corner. And speaking of which, I have something for you,” he informed him, then pulled out a small gift from somewhere.

Peter gave him a puzzled look. "It's only November," he reminded him, but he took the gift from him anyway. He doesn't refuse a gift when someone gives it to him, does he?

"It does not matter. But didn't unwrap it until Christmas, okay? And now finally tell me how the two got together," Tommy asked eagerly. He'd seen some speculative newspaper articles lately about Tony Stark apparently dating his company's CEO, but he didn't give them too much weight, because if that were true, the two of them would have told him, right? RIGHT? It wasn't until today that he teased Pepper like always when she told him that his teasing didn't make sense when they were with Tony together now.

"It was funny, I wish you were there! It happened after Hammer's attack, Uncle Rhodey saved me and took me to the roof of a building, and imagine that in a few seconds, Dad and Pepper appeared on the same roof. But they didn't notice us, so we were completely silent and waiting to see what would happen, but it was really hard because Pepper said she was done and I wanted to run after her and persuade her not to resign. So that she wouldn't leave us. Fortunately, Dad didn't just leave it and kissed her!" He gasped at him. A normal person would probably have trouble catching a single word, but Tommy understood everything.

"Damn, I really wish I was there," Tommy muttered.

"What about you and Brian?" Peter asked with interest. He had only seen Tommy's boyfriend once, but he was fine. And Tommy kept talking about him all the time. Maybe Peter should start a fan club for them too, but who would be in it? Maybe Pepper would join him.

Tommy said nothing for a moment. Instead, he pulled a small box from his pocket, inside which hid the ring, as Peter soon found out. "I think I'll ask him for a hand, what do you think?"

"Are you kidding me?! That's great!” He exclaimed excitedly, jumping around his neck so he could hug him tightly. Although he didn't see Tommy that often, he was one of his favorite people in the world. And he knew from Pepper that some people weren't too nice to him because he had a boyfriend. A man. Which Peter didn't understand. Why should there be an evil person on the man he was hugging?

"Do you really think so?"

"Of course I do! Wow, do you think Dad will ask Pepper for a hand, too?” He asked dreamily. Finally, they would be family.

"Maybe when you're an adult," Tommy laughed as he hid the ring back in his pocket. If the two waited for the wedding as long as they waited for them to become a couple, he was beginning to worry that he might not even live to see it.

"But that's a long time!" Peter moaned. He would love to get them married right away.

"It will run faster than you think. Now let's finally get to that cake, or I'll eat it for you," he threatened, but there was a smile on his face, so Peter knew he wasn't serious. However, he preferred to listen to him. He didn't want to risk losing such a yummy.
