My hero academia
- izuku basically becomes friends with shigaraki (not necessarily villain izuku tho)
- Izuku as a hero sympathizes with tomura and they are good friends despite being “enemies”
- Izuku gives up being a hero (before he met all might) and accidentally meets shiggy not knowing who he is. They become good friends and eventually izuku finds out he’s a villain but doesn’t care (also sympathizes)
- He is a vigilante (or info broker) who is technically neutral when it comes to hero’s and villains, but favors league of villains bc he’s bffs with shiggy (brotherly relationship?)

- When izuku is already training to get into UA, he meets shigaraki and become friends (good acquaintances? Brothers?)
- Izuku doesn’t know he’s a villain until he recognizes him at the usj attack and shigaraki doesn’t know he’s a hero student at UA until usj either
- They hide the recognition of each other (plot point possibility - maybe that recognition makes Aizawa/the hero’s suspicious of him, maybe leads to him being a suspect in the UA traitor case)
- Izuku then blocks any form of communication with shigaraki- he doesn’t hate him for being a villain, but he doesn’t want get in trouble
- Shigaraki sees izuku in the sports festival, and decides he doesn’t really hate him because he’s a hero student
- Shigaraki goes to the mall to meet izuku at the mall (when class 1A goes to get stuff for the training camp)
- Izuku doesn’t fight back, is glad to see him and they just talk about stuff and reveal that they both still wanna be friends (don’t hate each other)
- Izuku still tries to talk shigaraki out of being a villain, but also understands that he doesn’t really have a chance and sympathizes
- Their meeting is cut short because of his classmates and izuku doesn’t tell them about it
- Fast forward to training camp, when the lov attack, izuku still kills muscular and then he gets kidnapped instead of Bakugo
- Shigaraki tries to get izuku on his side, but before they can resolve anything, all might and the heros barge in to rescue him
- The rest of the fight go as in canon except izuku stays with shigaraki until the a last minute instead of leaving with his classmates
- He still get rescued and afo still dies. Izuku knows how much afo meant shigaraki and finds him to comfort him after he gets out of the hospital
- From here it could go multiple ways
1. Falsely accused au traitor, where izuku friendship with shigaraki and his notebooks are enough evidence to prove he is the traitor, but shigaraki rescues him before they can sent him to jail and izuku becomes a vigilante/villain
2. Or the rest of his high school career goes as normal, fighting shigaraki as an enemy, but still being friends (aspect of comedy maybe?)
3. ⚠️manga spoilers⚠️ during the war arc and the most recent manga arcs, izuku tries his hardest to save shigaraki and in doing so reveals his friendship with him, but it doesn’t affect much because of the state Japan is in at the moment
