Chapter 2

Wendy and her friends Bebe, Heidi, Red, and others sat at a lunch table.

"So he just.. said he wants to find another girl because he's got no interest in you?" Heidi asked and Wendy nodded. "That's.. rude." Red said. Wendy shrugged "Yeah I know."

Wendy rolled her eyes when she heard Heidi whisper to Bebe, "I wonder who it is" and "I bet it's Kyle. I've never heard of a Super Best Friend. Sounds pretty gay" and Bebe snickered. Wendy gritted her teeth and frowned. "You guys are no help!" She said, mostly at Heidi and Bebe, "I'm leaving."

She took off out the cafeteria doors and down the hallway, outside. She breathed in as she ran her hand through her hair, and let out a shaky breath. Her eyes became blurry with tears as she sat down on the steps outside the door, covering her face as she sobbed into her hands.

"Wow, did the Marsh kid really rip your heart out your chest?" Wendy shot up and looked to her side, wide eyed, spotting Micheal, Pete Thelman, and Henrietta Biggles sitting there, blasting music, and smoking cigarettes. She noticed how Henrietta had longer hair, and Micheal has stubbled with Pete having freshly dyed hair.

"What, you see something?" Pete mocked and Wendy looked away. "No" she mumbled and rested her face on her hands.

"So are you gonna answer the question our no, conformist?" Micheal said after taking a puff from his cigarette. Wendy rolled her eyes "Yes, Stan broke up with me! It's not that big of a deal." "Obviously is to you, if you're crying about him like that." Henrietta said, taking a puff from her cigarette.

Wendy sniffed and wiped her nose with her sweater sleeve. "I just.. don't think he ever actually liked me." She mumbled. "He never talked to me when I text him, he never went out with me at all. I just don't.."
She sighed and remembered who she was talking to. Three people who'd probably make fun of her for crying over such a stupid thing. Wendy got up and walked back inside the school.

"Guys I think we should like, ask her to join us?" Henrietta said. "What?! You want to let a conformist into our group?" Pete flipped his hair out his face after he turned to look at her. "I don't know. It's just been a little boring with only three members now, and Wendy looks like she needs friends, or people who understand her, I guess."

She took a puff out her cigarette and Micheal raised an eyebrow. "When did you care about that preppy, conformist asshole?" He asked and Henrietta rolled her eyes. "I don't care about her! But maybe, we could help her I don't know.."
