Summary
This is the third in a series, following An Uncertain Future and Healing. The guys are on their way back to New York and Stark Tower. Although Yori Nakajima's death has cancelled the bounty on Bucky's head, he's still wanted by most law enforcement agencies on the planet.Steve, and the rest of the Avengers, are committed to bringing Bucky in from the cold. Bucky just knows that he needs to stop killing, whatever the cost to himself.

Pepper reached out and chucked the little cat under the chin. “What’s her name?”
Bucky looked at her and relaxed just the tiniest bit. “Ali,” he said softly.
“She’s a sweetie.” Pepper smiled. “Jarvis?”
“Yes, Ms. Potts,” the AI answered. “I’ve taken the liberty of ordering cat food and other necessary supplies. It should be delivered within the hour.”
“Thank you, Jarvis.” She stroked the little cat gently, then turned to Tony, who was staring at Bucky, an odd expression on his face.
“Tony?”
Tony jerked, then looked at her.
After a second, he spun and strode from the room.
