Summary
This is the third in a series, following An Uncertain Future and Healing. The guys are on their way back to New York and Stark Tower. Although Yori Nakajima's death has cancelled the bounty on Bucky's head, he's still wanted by most law enforcement agencies on the planet.Steve, and the rest of the Avengers, are committed to bringing Bucky in from the cold. Bucky just knows that he needs to stop killing, whatever the cost to himself.

Pepper closed the door, leaving Steve and Bucky alone in their suite.
Bucky put Ali down onto the king-size bed, then dropped down beside her. “That could’ve gone better,” he said bleakly.
“Tony will be fine,” Steve sat next to Bucky. “He knows you aren’t responsible for what happened.”
Not convinced, Bucky watched as Ali leapt to the floor and started to explore her new territory, starting with the food and water sitting in the corner of the room.
With a yawn, Steve lay back on the bed. “Whatever happens with Tony, our priority is getting rid of Hydra’s programming.”
