Chapter 1
James Wesley worked obediently for Wilson Fisk, so when Fisk’s love asks for something, it’s upon Wesley to go fetch in a timely manner.
Vanessa had recently moved into Fisk’s high top apartment and the happy couple were delighted to celebrate their new monument with a glass of champagne.
Wesley was quick to fetch the bottle from the cellar.
“Here you go sir, and my utmost congratulations to the both of you.” Wesley said with his same old grin.
“Thank you really, Mr. Wesley” Vanessa was quick to say as she took the bottle and began pouring them into the flutes. The two had their drinks and were off to bed, and Wesley was off to his own apartment. Thus began the new life of Vanessa and Fisk.
Thursday. 5:00 Am
The next morning, Wesley was up bright and early at the crack of dawn ready for the beckon and call of his employer. He sat idly outside the door of Fisk’s penthouse swiping on his phone. Business has been quite alright lately, but things rarely stayed still in these waters so best to always be prepared for the worst.
“Mr. Wesleyyy” Vanessa whispered with a wide joyous smile as she cracked open the door.
“Ah. Mrs. Marianna, how can I assist you?” Wesley said sitting up from his chair with his ever so perfect posture.
“Mr. Wesley, there’s something I must request. See there is this small pastry shop a couple streets down. God. My mouth just waters thinking of it! Could you go down and fetch two apple turnovers please? I’ve written down the address here.” She said as she handed him a paper napkin from Fisk’s favourite take out place with the address jotted down along with her order in her swirly hand writing.
“Of course Mrs Marianna. I’ll be back quickly.” Wesley said as he headed towards the elevator.
