The Start of Something New
You're mind was swimming, so much had happened in the last few hours you weren't sure how you were supposed to react. You kept looking between all four of them and saw nothing but genuine concern and it caused this warm feeling to bubble up in your chest. The more you looked at the the warmer you got. Something in you finally snapped and you completely surrendered to your head space. You looked between your small box and the four brothers "Can I has juice pease? I thirsty?" you said as you started digging for your penguin sippy cup. You didn't use it often except for the rare occasions when you got this small. Beel smiled down at you and took the cup from your hands "Of course you can princess I'll be back okay?" he quickly left the room dragging Satan and Asmo out with him. He hoped to find something you would find acceptable, he wasn't sure what options they had on hand. Asmo and Satan were not happy to be dragged out but they resigned to their fate as they logically understood you needed to talk to Lucifer. It was best they weren't present for that conversation.
You crawled closer to Lucifer so you were sitting directly across from him. You looked up at him feeling oddly at peace, you never understood how someone as scary as Lucifer could feel so much like home; dare you even say calming. "L-L-Lucifer?" you mumbled trying your best not to mess up his name but it was so hard and didn't feel right coming from your mouth. "I is very sowwy..." you hesitated "I promise I talk to you later?" looking at him to make sure he was okay with your terms. You hoped he would understand how hard it was for you and how difficult this was for you to talk about. Lucifer only smiled "Do you want to come watch TV in my room? We can curl up and watch cartoons or maybe a movie?" You crawled into his lap "But Juice?" you pouted knowing Beel was bringing you juice. Lucifer shook his head fondly "Okay okay" conceding to your wishes "How about the living room?" You nodded happily and wrapped your arms around his neck "Yes pease papa" mumbling against his shoulder trying not to get lost in the scent of his cologne. Lucifer smiled as he finally saw the tension bleed out of your body, it was the most relaxed he had seen you in weeks. "I think Mammon is down there? I know how close you two are" you reached for your small stuffed kitten as Lucifer picked you up and carried you downstairs. If you were in the right headspace you'd be amazed how easy it was for him to carry you. "You think Baba will watch movies with me?" you asked as you got closer to the living room "I'm sure he would be honored Little One" you tried not to squirm too much as you noticed the rest of the brothers huddled together talking quietly.
Lucifer noticed how tense you got seeing them all talking "I'm sure Satan is just trying to explain what's going on" he reassured. Which was exactly what Satan was doing ensuring they knew exactly what was happening and that none of them would set you off or do anything to upset you. You tugged on Lucifer's coat to get his attention "Put me down pease" you whispered and he put you down gently and you quickly walked over to Mammon poking his arm "Baba...." Mammon turned around trying his best to school his facial expressions as to not upset you. "Whatcha need Kiddo?" not quite able to keep the fondness from leaking into his voice. "Cartoons pease? Can you put toons on the tv for me?" Mammon chuckled and put you on the couch before turning on some colorful human world cartoon he found. "This okay?" he said taking the seat next to you allowing you to curl into his side. You nodded happily and turned your attention to the cartoon, one of your favorites. It was easy for you to get lost in the simple story line and bright colors.
The other brothers were all huddled together, they didn't want you to have to worry about anything when you were like this. But they had to come up with a plan, a schedule maybe? You needed to be watched at all times, while you were always safe with one of them this was still the devildom. There were bound to be several demons that would happily take advantage of you in this current state especially since you couldn't invoke any of your pacts like this. The resolved to talk to you about it when you were feeling better. They would not ruin this for you, seeing how much you clearly needed it and how it helped so much. While they were all talking they barely noticed that Beel had come back.
"I finally found some juice I think you will like" he smiled handing you the small cup. He sat down next to you and whispered in your ear "I also grabbed some more candy don't tell any one. I only share with you" you giggled happily taking one of the pieces struggling to open it. Beel noticed how much you were struggling "Do you need help?" you nodded and handed it over before you got more frustrated. You were feeling so small and so much had happened today. "Pease help Bear Bear" Beel took the candy and unwrapped it for you placing it in your hand "I'll always help you" You smiled moving closer to him on the couch abandoning Mammon in favor of juice and candy. Mammon started yelling something about stealing you from him and how it wasn't fair to hog you all to himself but you or Beel for that matter couldnt be bothered. Candy was your favorite thing in the world. Beel happily helped you drink your juice and kept opening your candy as you watched your show. Something about a talking dog? Was he looking for clues? Was that talking spices? It was lost on him. A small part of you wondered if it could have always been like this?

Lucifer kneeled in front of you as he noticed you fighting sleep. "Hey Little One I think it might be time for you to go get some sleep?" You shook your head trying your best not to yawn and prove his point. "I really don't want to leave you alone tonight. I think you should spend the night with one of us. Would you like to pick or we can choose for you?" You looked around already noticing them arguing on who would get to watch over you tonight. You hated to see them fight and if you didn't decide it was just gonna get worse. Then scary Papa would appear and maybe the rest of them would be scary too. That information didn't make your decision any easier any of the seven of them would have made for a comfy bed. "It not that late" you mumbled looking up at the clock knowing full well you didn't know what it said "See" Beel whispered in your ear "Yes Princess its very late" . You crossed your arms and pouted you finally get to be little and they want you to go to bed. Lucifer frowned as he saw your bratty attitude bubbling to the surface. He shouldn't be surprised you had a habit of not following the rules to begin with a smaller you would not be much different. "You should really think about bedtime? The sooner you go to bed the sooner you'll be able to wake up and we can play some more" Beel said attempting to reason with you. They could all see your gears turning that reasoning seeming to work on you. "You can choose whoever you want, none of us will be upset." Beel finished as he pressed a light kiss to your temple. "Hmmmpf" you looked between all seven of them you would have to talk to Lucifer in the morning so that made the most sense.. but...... he wasn't as cozy as Beel and Beplhie. "Bear Bear! I go with you and Belf...Belfe...Dada!" yes that was easier you liked that one much better. "I sleep with Bear Bear and Dada tonight" Beel smiled brightly scooping you up in his arms "I will bring her to you first thing in the morning" he assured to his eldest brother before carrying you up to there room. You waved to all the other brothers mumbling your good nights.
After they were sure you were out of ear shot they took time to have a 'family discussion' where they would try to make plans, to ensure they knew exactly what they were doing. Shopping also had to get done, well according to Asmo shopping had to get done. You needed things and all five of them knew that much, they wanted to make sure you had everything your heart desired. They could not wait to spoil you they way you deserved, the way you probably hadn't been before.
Beel sat you on his bed and let you get comfortable "Luckily you are already dressed But Bear Bear has to go change now okay" you nodded as you watched him walk into his bathroom. Belphie took that moment to place his hand on your head ensuring no nightmares would plague your sleep tonight. "Thanks Dada!" you smiled wrapping the blanket around you "I like the dreams you give me" Belphie blushed from under his bangs "You'll always get the best sleep with me. And that's a promise" Beel walked out a few minutes later sweat pants hanging low on hips completely bare from the waist up. Beel crawled into bed next to you "Come on princess its time for bed" you nodded and carefully slotted yourself in his arms. "Your safe Princess we will keep you safe" he assured kissing your forehead. Before you knew you were nestled against his chest breathing in the uniquely Beel smell. Belphie was quick to lay down on your other side already mostly asleep. "Night Bear Bear. Night Dada" you yawned and your eyes started to close Beel laid there and watched you both sleeping peacefully. His twin brother and you nothing could make him feel more at peace. He could watch you all night but sleep was pulling him under quickly before he realized he was snoring right along with you two.
This was going to be the best sleep you had gotten since you arrived in the Devildom.
