Summary
A remaster of my prior fic of the same name. The chosen undead awakens due to the bells of awakening in the time of DS3 and instead of linking the flame, does not even go to Firelink shrine and goes to Irithyll, because he has a god boyfriend to check up on. Emotional hurt with comfort, etc. Etc.Chosen undead's name is Alwyn, he was a dedicated blade of the dark moon, and was fully devoted, not to the gods, but to Gwyndolin alone.
Note
Alwyn, the chosen undead, awakens upon the call of the Bells of Awakening. He should not have risen, as four others had already been brought by the toll, and yet, embers of humanity found their chance to ignite back to life, for their purpose, their dark sun.(Side not, this chapter has a far more brutal and befitting end to the Pontiff, not really explicit detail, but the Pontiff does still get his ribs impaled by Alwyn's greatsword)
