Reena was awoken by Thing poking her face. Naturally, she swatted at the hand, but when she remembered all that had happened, she sat up quickly. Her head ached as she sat alone in the conservatory.

"Thing, where's Wednesday?" Reena quickly asked. "Crackstone's crypt? Why the hell are they there? They're bringing back Joseph Crackstone? Where's everyone else? The Nightshades library? Well, let's go!" 

Thing stopped her. "What do you mean, no? They would've left by now? I should go to the woods, instead? Fine. Then I'll go to the fucking woods! You go get Enid and meet me there!"

Reena got up quickly, grabbed a random knife that was likely used for cutting plants from the conservatory, and ran as fast as she could with her head still pounding. She had no idea how long she'd been out since her phone was dead, but if she had to guess, it had been at least a few hours. As she went, she paused as she heard a howl that sounded eerily familiar to Enid, but kept going. 

She finally stopped when, in the distance, she heard Tyler and Wednesday's voices.

"Laurel said you were dead."

"I'm feeling much better now."

"You're like a cockroach."

"Please, flattery will get you nowhere. This will not end well for you."

"Hey, guys," Reena finally made her presence known. "You gonna Hyde out, Tyler?" She pulled out the knife she stole from the conservatory. "Or are we gonna fight like the good old days?"

Tyler glared at her before he began the process. His clothes ripped as his body morphed from human to Hyde. As soon as he was fully transformed, he knocked Reena away and picked up Wednesday, pinning her to a tree. As he raised his claws, a pink werewolf suddenly tackled him away.

"Holy shit!" Reena exclaimed as she pushed herself up. "Is that Enid?!"

"Enid!" Wednesday warned her as she saw Tyler, still in Hyde form, stand up behind her. The pink werewolf and angry Hyde stood facing each other, ready to fight, while Wednesday and Reena took off.  "We need to get back to the school."

When they finally got back, the students were running for their lives. Crackstone had obviously made it back before them. Wednesday picked up a sword from one of the stands in the hallway and inspected it, ensuring it would end Crackstone for good. "Goody told me I have to stab it through his black heart to finally get rid of him. I need you to help get everyone out of here."

"But, Wednesday--" Reena tried to argue.

"No," Wednesday sternly cut her off. "I need to do this. You need to get everyone out."

Wednesday didn't even give her another chance to argue as she had already run away to fight Crackstone. Reena wanted to follow her, but she couldn't. She knew Wednesday had to be the one to do this. Reena ran around the school, ensuring that everyone had gotten out. As she ran past the courtyard, she couldn't help but look. The sight in front of her made her blood run cold. Crackstone was going to end Wednesday Addams.

A few feet away, Reena saw Bianca near one of the many random swords at Nevermore. "Bianca! Throw me that!"

Bianca, without hesitation, grabbed the saw and threw it up in the air, Reena catching it swiftly. "Be careful, Reena!"

"Will do!" Reena yelled back, already on her way to the center of the courtyard. As she ran in, she saw Crackstone's staff glowing red and Wednesday struggling under it. With all the courage she could muster, she stabbed the sword through Crackstone's back and pulled it back out. The noises Crackstone made were disturbing, but it was terrifying when he turned around and flung Reena through the air.

Reena watched in pain on the ground as Wednesday stabbed Crackstone through his heart. As Reena got up, Crackstone began to disintegrate into flames. There was a final burst of energy that engulfed the entire courtyard as Crackstone diminished.

It was peaceful for a moment, up until Laurel entered with her gun cocked.

"Oh, for fucks sake," Reena muttered.

"You brought a gun to a sword fight," Wednesday noted. "It's probably the first smart decision you've made today."

Laurel came down the stairs. "I might not get to kill all the outcasts, but at least I'll get to kill you two, Wednesday, Reena." Strangely, a bee landed on her gun. Then, bees started to surround her. After that, hundreds more bees came from around the corner, which she tried to shoot. Laurel had no success in getting rid of the bees as they continued attacking her, bringing her to the ground.

Eugene came out, smiling big. "Yeah, that's what you get for messing with Nevermore. Bitch. Hummers stick together, right?"

Reena laughed and put an arm around Wednesday's should. "Oh, this bitch got what was fucking coming to her."

"We'll take it from here," Wednesday told him as she approached Laurel. 

"Maybe we should call the sheriff?" Eugene suggested.

"Turn around, Eugene," Wednesday ordered.

"Now," Reena added, her boot already in the air. Wednesday and Reena worked together in taking down the Hyde and its master, so, as a reward, they got to kick her in the face.

The entire school was waiting outside of the gates as Wednesday, Reena, and Eugene walked out. Wednesday had always hated physical contact, but being under Reena's arm after they had all almost died felt nice.

As soon as the student body saw them, they came racing over, Enid leading the way. Enid immediately pulled the two girls into a group hug, which neither of them rejected.
