Chapter 8
"Spider-Man!" People hollered as Izuku jumped from roof to roof, gaining momentum as he did. When he gained enough, he jumped off the final building falling for a second before webbing another building effectively web swinging as quick as he could go, the cars and people below him looked like emmets and the horns of cars sounded distorted, Izuku swung himself onto a rooftop, he happily grabbed his notebook from his suit then he wrote his observations. Or things that made him happy that day.

-Saw 7 cute dogs, wanted to pet them
-Saw 4 moms and their babies. One mom reminded me of my mom. (Remimder, swing to her
"Spidey senses are tingling…"
Screams rang through in city at the bank. Glass flew like seagulls diving for their; prey sharp and malicious. Blood spilt and splattered walls and humans like paint. People were cut, bruised, afraid. And so were you. "It's okay, it's okay." You smiled at a little boy with black hair whose cheek bled since glass hit him. The blood made you uncomfortable since the hit that it was patruting from was dangerously close to his eye.
Screams sunk into you and the boy's ears. You covered his ears from the stretched out voices of terror, people screamed because their loved ones were killed in front of their eyes, or they were afraid but you knew in your heart that peoples screams were mixtures yet for your sanity you separated the two with your knife of your own fear and anxiety.
"Spider-Man…" The boy spoke. "Save us.." You looked at the boy. He didn't notice he was subconsciously telling Spider-Man to save everyone. You looked at the boy's shoes, they were Spider-Man’s shoes or at least a pretty good copy of them.
"You're a fan of Spider-Man?" You asked, already knowing the answer. The boy nodded. A scream echoed in the back as you thought of more questions to distract you two from the monster that was getting closer by each breath you two breathed combined. Fear struck you rightfully so as the monster was inside the bathroom- with you two. "How did this happen?" You asked.
"Miss, miss! I'm scared, Venom is attacking Spider-Man!" The boy cried, you blinked, your eyes came intoxicated with the feeling of tears as you saw Spider-Man arched on top of the monster's hand, bleeding. With that, you passed out once again.
"Y/N?" A familiar voice made your ears ring. You opened your eyes because of the irritation. You were in the hospital. You looked at your side, it was Izuku. He had a bandage on his face and scratches too yet his smile was just as comforting yet it was surprising that he was here instead of Bakugo.
"Deku… Why are you here..?" You asked, he looked a little sad you asked but answered your question anyway, "I heard that you got caught in that Venom attack and you were in the hospital. I wanted to see if you were okay."
You smiled, then you explained yourself. "I'm sorry if that seemed a bit rude, I only asked because you were the last person I expected, I explained Bakugo to be completely honest." Izuku nodded "I expected to be here as well but he's been camping out in his room.
He's been studying to get into his dream school-" Izuku bit his tongue. "Not saying the school is more important than you it's just-" "No, no" you interrupted- "I understand, tell him I wish him good luck. By the way, is that boy I was protecting, okay? He had black hair, a cut under his eye… Green shirt I think?"
"Oh! Him? Yeah he-" Izuku giggled in the middle of his sentence, blushing at a piece of paper. "He gave me this and said to give it to you when you woke up.." Izuku gave you said paper, it was of you and Spider-Man holding hands with the words 'Best heros.' Under his illustration.
You smiled. "This is adorable." "Isn't it?!" Izuku squealed as if that boy had drawn you and Izuku holding hands, he was happier than you, so happy you jokingly considered giving the drawing to him. He looked like a proud mom who just saw their child succeed in something they've worked exceedingly hard for.
Izuku looked back at the exit and smiled. "I'll see you later, Y/N" he walked out of the door. A huge grin spread across his face. He skipped out of the hospital, who knew ship art from an unsuspecting child would make him happy after almost dying from a black alien? No- actually, happy is an understatement. This boy was over the moon. He walked back to his house, spinning and doing backflips, his heart was doing the same.
