Kate Bishop x reader
"Dad?" I said waving my hand in front of his face, he finally turns to look at me "Did you turn off your hearing aid?" I said laughing "Yeah but I was there, you know who wasn't there, that guy, Ant-man" he said pointing at the actor "Yeah okay dad" I said turning back to the show, he got up saying he was going to the bathroom. It was about 10 minutes before I followed him out the rest of the kids trailing behind me.
We waited by the bathroom but he wasn't there, I looked towards the door and spotted him we all headed outside "Are you okay dad?" Lila asked "Yeah I'm all good" he said picking up Nate "Let's get back to the hotel so we can pack" he said and we headed back towards the hotel. We all sat on the couch and Lila turned on the tv. They think the Ronin is back because someone was spotted wearing the suit. I look up at Dad who come and sits next to me.
"Dad?" I said whispering to him "Yeah, I know" he said "Okay guys let's get to bed" he said so we all went to sleep. The next day we all woke and headed down to the car "Dad can I just stay with you" I said "Yeah, I guess" he said "Help me get the kids in the car" He said so we put all the kids in the car "Bye guys, love you, Lila don't let them die" I said as they drove off "What are we gonna do?" I said turning back to dad "We're gonna find whoever has that suit" he said so we went back into the hotel.
We waited until it was night and we decided to take a walk we were about a half a block away when we saw whoever was wearing the suit being attacked by the Tracksuit mafia. We headed over there and joined the fight. We won and then dad dragged whoever that is over to the ally. "Stop, stop, who are you?" He said pinning them against the wall, he pulled off the mask "Oh my god!, you're Hawkeye!" She said she looked over at me "Oh my god!, you're his daughter" she said "Yeah, I'm gonna need this suit" Dad said releasing her a little "Oh yeah, yeah, you can have it, we just have to go to my apartment so I can change" she said
So we all headed to her apartment it was above the pizza place. As we walked and eventually got to her apartment I studied her face and the way she walked and everything about her, she's drop dead gorgeous. "Oh I'm Kate by the way" she said before running up the stairs "I can't believe it The Hawkeye is in my apartment" I heard her mumble as she ran up the stairs. "Dad?, what are we gonna do once we get the suit?" I said turning to face him "Go home" he said. Then she came running downstairs with the suit. "Here" she said handing it to Dad "Did anyone see you? Is there anyway you're associated with the suit? Because I followed you from the event they could have too, did your stop anywhere?" Dad said
"No I kept the mask on like a pro, I only stopped here to drop the dog off" she said proudly "Kate Bishop!, come out here and fight us!" We heard from outside before a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the window catching the apartment on fire. "Move, move" I said walking towards the window. I waited for them to throw another one before I caught and threw it back at them "Come on we gotta get out of here, grab the dog, let's go" Dad said "What about my apartment?, what about the suit?" Kate said "It doesn't matter I'll come back for it later, just grab the dog" he said and so she got the dog and we left.
We ran down into the subway "We need supplies" Dad said as we waited by the subway "Hell yeah, avengers supplies?" Kate said I stifled a laugh. Then we went to the general store "Grab that rubbing alcohol from that shelf there" Dad said to Kate pointing at it "Not gonna lie Hawkeye this is a bit of a let down" she said passing it to him "Dad I'll be right back, I want snacks" I said so I walked around a few other aisles. I picked up some sun chips, a Dr Pepper and a few other things before walking back to Dad and Kate. "Okay are we ready to go?" Dad said turning to me
"Yup, all ready" I said as we walked towards the front. "Okay now we just need to find someplace safe to stash you while I recover the suit" he said putting the stuff on the counter. "I'm not a bag of money to be stashed" she said "No you're not, a bag of money would be useful to me" Dad said we all stayed silent as the cashier checked us out I saw their name tag it said Dani. "I know a place would a bag of money know a place" Kate said, so after we got everything we started walking to wherever Kate was taking us.
We get there and she starts banging on the buttons, someone finally answers "Pizza pi- , yeah, yeah, Pizza" she says into the intercom and the buzzer opens and we head up "It's my Aunts place she's away" she says unlocking the door and letting the dog in first. We all went inside and I stood by my dad. "What do we do now?" Kate asked "You sit here with Y/n I'm going to go get the suit" Dad said "Y/n, watch her" he said before leaving "Got it" I said as he left "Okay so what do you want to do" Kate said "I don't know, you need to clean your wounds here, come sit" I said leading her to the couch
She sat down and I grabbed the stuff, I tried to get it by standing up but I couldn't so I sat on her lap and put my legs on either side of her. I cleaned off the wound and patched it up. Her hands were on my hips keeping me still. Then the door opened and Dad walked in "Woah, when I said to watch her I didn't mean like this" he said slapping his hand over his eyes. "Dad I was just cleaning the cut on her forehead" I said getting off of her. "You can uncover your eyes" I said rolling my eyes "Yeah okay, anyway the suit wasn't there but I have a lead" he said "You two will stay here while I go get it, don't do anything weird while I'm gone, Don't like eat her face or something, love you bye" he said kissing my forehead before leaving
"Sorry about that" I said fiddling with my hands "Dads always weird" I said looking at her "He wasn't wrong you know, I do like you" I said bouncing on my heels. "Well good thing I like you too" she said walking closer "Can I kiss you?" She said with her face a few inches away from mine "Yes" I said and so she pulled me in. When we pulled away she said "We should go on a proper date sometime after this" "Sounds good" I said pulling her back in.
