Chapter 9
(On Midgard)
Once Peggy calmed a very distraught Tony down for 30 minutes, Natasha, Bruce, Rhodey, and Wanda decided to distract him by putting on Mulan which did the trick all right. The four of them lay on the floor watching the movie highly invested in it, while Peggy and Frigga talked explaining a few things that transpired on Midgard with Loki and Howard when the elevator dinged. Peggy and Frigga turned to see who arrived while the five teammates continued to watch
"Daniel, Angie, and Jack you guys made it" Peggy smiled she got from the couch giving Jack a hug
"Of course we did Pegs, you know we'd wherever you need us" Jack grinned hugging his friend Angie, and planted a kiss on Peggy's cheek
"We would also never miss out on seeing our little ducky. Now where is he?" Angie asked the former director of Shield smiling up at her husband who planted a kiss on her lips
"On the floor watching Mulan Ang" Peggy chuckled gesturing towards Tony heavily invested in the movie lying on top of Natasha and Rhodey. The three newcomers looked down and raised a brow
"Well, ain't that something," Daniel said Frigga chuckled lightly
"Oh Pegs where are your manners, not introducing us to the gorgeous woman for shame" Angie tsked as she walked over to Frigga's side of the couch
"I know she did not just do that," Peggy said watching her best friend walk over to Loki's mother
"Yup" Jack grumbled
"I'mma kill her" Peggy mumbled watching Angie lean against Frigga's armrest
"Don't do that we like her" Jack said frowning
"Hello there gorgeous my name is Angela Martinelli but you call me Angie or whatever you like. Those two ingrates over are Jack Thompson and Peggy's husband Daniel, I must apologize for not introducing myself earlier it was quite rude of me" Angie said Frigga raised an amused brow
"I'mma kill her," Jack said Peggy and Daniel gave him a look
"No don't do that we like her" Daniel drawled the other man glared at him, and Frigga chuckled
"While I am flattered Lady Angela I am a married woman, it wouldn't be right to have an affair behind his back" Frigga chuckled Angie shrugged
"You know from what Loki has described you and your husband as, I can say wholeheartedly you my dear deserve better. I can give you that if you let me try" Angie said the blond woman chuckled softly
(Jotunheim Palace)
"Out of all the idiotic I do, I just had to listen to you Iðunn" Loki grumbled the other turned to him as they were escorted through the palace in chains
"Trust me Loki you'll thank me once this is done and over with" Iðunn responded the raven-haired man's eye twitched out of irritation towards the older god actually contemplating killing her
"Iðunn, if by some miracle we get through this without dying I will honestly kill you because of everything we're currently going through. If we do I will give you an infinite death because I didn't need to do all this" Loki smiled sickly Iðunn returned the smile obviously not taking him seriously. One of the guards was trying his hardest to not snicker
"Sure you will godling" Iðunn chuckled Loki sent her a look promising death as they entered the throne room
"King Laufey and King Farabuti we found these Asgardians roaming through the ice gorges" The First Guard spoke Loki and Iðunn looked up and saw the whole family looking down at them, Loki shook his head chuckling
"I'm about to die" Loki huffed
"Iðunn keeper of the golden and Loki of Asgard what brings you here to Jotunheim?" Laufey asked Loki tilting his head
"We've met?" Loki asked Helblindi crossing his arms and glaring at him
"You and a group of idiotic Asgardians came here to Jotunheim ready to attack us after a few rogue Jotuns whom you convinced in going to Asgard to steal the casket in order to stop your brother's coronation," Helblindi said Loki's eyes widened before turning to Iðunn who smiled at him innocently
"Okay one Thor isn't my brother nor is Odin, my father, secondly I don't really remember much that happened before I apparently tried to take over Midgard. You can thank Odin for that one, I'm really sorry if I have done you and your people wrong" Loki said sincerely Farabuti sighed softly
"In all honesty, you did us a favor in disposing of those Jotuns. But what are you doing here?" Farabuti asked Iðunn elbowed Loki, who huffed
"We need to get to Helheim to free someone who hates Odin just as much as we all do" Loki spoke the Jotun royal family looked intrigued and slightly confused
