Chapter 2
They were in Limbo in a flash, blink and you'd miss it. Seriously.
Dani had already seen it once, when they were fighting her demon bear back at the hospital. But that was just a fraction. The Chayenne knew this but was still in awe at how beautiful Limbo was, she couldn't decide were to look.
There was nature everywhere, strange animals that, if you asked Dani, didn't exist. Waterfalls and beaches and just.... everything. It was overwhelming to say the least, but not in an unpleasant way. She loved it, she loved it all.
Whilst The Brunette was distracted Illy steadied herself. She had never brought anyone with her to Limbo (Lockheed is different) so she was feeling a bit light-headed at the moment. She knew taking anyone with her would take some energy but she didn't expect that it would take this much. But she had no regrets taking Dani here though, she truly wanted to. The Russian adored Dani and was madly in love with the girl.
God, since when had she become so sappy?
But seeing her lover like this, she wouldn't trade this moment for anything in the world.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?"
"It's more than that" The Chayenne countered "It's heavenly, chaos and order and everything in between merged together and making the perfect world"
"Merged?" Illyana asked.
Dani looked at the girl and smiled softly. Secretly she found it absolutely adorable when The Russian struggled with the English language. The confusing look on her face melted Dani's heart. She was just so cute, god. The Blonde was literally the definition of cute.
"Merged" She began to explain "Merged is another word for combined. When you have for example two things and you put them together, making something new." The girl nodded slowly, she was starting to understand.
After the English lesson they decided to go exploring, well, for Dani it was exploring and Illy just followed the girl. Looking at her lovingly as she explored new places. Illyana also showed her some of her favorite places.
At some point they found a spot that they both felt comfortable with and sat there for a while. They talked, laughed, looked at the (to Dani) strange animals and Illy tried (keyword 'tried') to explain to The Brunette what kind of animals it actually were. As Dani was just making stuff up that was just not even remotely close to what the animals actually were.
Dani knew this was her new favorite activity. She told The Blonde and luckily she thought the same. But everything must come to an end eventually, and Dani acknowledged this.
"I hate to ask" She started "but isn't it time to head back?"
"I suppose so" The Blonde responded with a pout. But The Chayenne immediately kissed it away. "Don't be sad, we can do this as much as you'd like, I promise" The Russian smiled and stared at Dani lovingly. "What?" Her lover asked. "Oh nothing, you're just so pretty, and sweet and caring." Dani blushed, hiding her face in The Russian' neck. She laughed at Dani's sudden shyness.
Dani quickly shut her up with a kiss though. At first the kiss was slow, soft and sweet. But over time it became heated, Illy's hands were sneaking under her top and was met with soft skin. And more surprisingly, abs, toned ones even. Illy groaned, no-one knew this, and no-one will ever know, but she had a slight (slight was maybe the understatement of the year) thing for abs. It was just her inner gayness that just really loved them okay?
Dani seemed to pick up on the girls love for her abs and smirked. "You like them?" She asked and Illy could just hear her smugness. She groaned and plopped her head on The Brunette shoulder, letting out a quiet "Yes"
Dani, still with a smirk on her face chuckled, this however sparked something within Illy. She was gonna get rid of that smugness on Dani's face.
She made quick work of it because in no-time she tilted her head off The Chayenne's shoulder and got to work on her neck. She kissed, bit and sucked on her pulse point and The Brunette whimpered. This made Illy more confident and within minutes Dani was a letting out small moans and inaudible words.
In her pleasure Dani was totally lost, she felt every touch, every bite, literally everything Illy did to her. She never wanted this to stop but to her dismay she vaguely remembered that they had to go. She let her lover drag out a few moans and whimpers out of her. She was just in the process calling Illy's name when she found 'that' spot. So The Russian's name was more or less half-moaned than actually said.
Illy, however, didn't give any sign of stopping anytime soon. And how much Dani wanted this to continue, but alas, they really had to go. She said her name once more, this time more firmly as she took hold of Illy's shoulder and squeezed it slightly. With this The Blonde finally seemed to respond and detached her lips from Dani's neck. The Chayenne missed it immediately, kind of already regretting her decision.
"We can continue this later" The Brunette said, making sure that Illy knew they weren't done with this yet. Let's just say that The Russian wasn't unhappy with that decision.
They shared one last kiss before heading back.
In the daze that Illy was still in she didn't really think about her energy. She had really underestimated how much energy it would take her getting them back, this time it wasn't just a place that you had to deal with, which was exhausting enough. No, this time she also had time to deal with. Fuck that, who invented time anyway?
In Limbo there was no time so it didn't really matter, but now it took so much of her energy that she stumbled and almost fainted. Luckily Dani managed to catch her. How considerate of her.
The poor girl struggled to keep conscious, scared what she would find when she gave in. Dani saw the battle Illy was fighting, she knew the girl was scared but she would be alright. As long as she knew she wasn't alone.
"Rest" She said to her girlfriend. "I'll be here"
And with that Illyana finally gave in.
