Chapter 1
"Welcome to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters"
The five mutants were all still a bit in shock when Sam started to scream out of excitement.
"Aaaaaaaahhhhh, dude look!" He began to shake Roberto as if his life depended on if, luckily he soon calmed down.
"You all will have your own rooms, and you guys can follow some classes if you like but it's not mandatory." Raven commented. Dani felt like she was the only one listening, thinking the others were still trying to recover from the shock (and Sam). But apparently she was wrong.
"What if you don't want your own room but rather share one, is that also an option?" Illyana asked hesitantly.
Jean smiled softly. "You can share one if you'd like, I'm guessing you want to share with Dani?" Illyana blushed and looked down, but responded with a quiet "Yes" Dani would be lying if she didn't say that she was flattered.
"Well then, let me show you guys your new rooms." Raven said as she guided them to their rooms.

Dani, Illyana and Raven were the only ones left at this point, the others already in their respective rooms and settling down in peace. Apparently classes were about to finish and to quote Hank's words "It would be madness"
Illyana had laughed at his words and asked if it was really that bad, then Hank had make the mistake (it really wasn't his fault) of asking her if she had ever gone to school.
After that Illy had stayed quiet.
Finally they arrived at the room the two of them would be staying in, when they were at the door Raven turned around. Somehow it made Dani feel nervous, like she didn't trust their new friend yet, but she did. Right?
The Chayenne was too caught up in her own thoughts that she completely missed what Raven said. When she looked up she saw Raven and Illy looking at her, she blushed.
"Sorry" She started. "You were saying?"
"What I was telling Illyana is that we are having a meeting tomorrow, figure out what your powers exactly are and after that we can start the training"
"Training?"
"Well yes, sure we are the X-Men but some more manpower would be nice sometimes" The older woman answered.
"Sure" Dani said, dumbfounded.
After that Raven left, leaving the two of them alone to settle in. Not long after, they discovered how much of a 'Madness' it really was when classes were finished. There were students from all different ages, races, hell some were purple and others green. One guy even was silver, kind of like a mini-Peter.
Dani chuckled at the thought. But the she heard it, or well, she more like didn't hear it. More specifically, she didn't hear her new roommate/girlfriend.
She must have gone to Limbo, she concluded.
Seeing so many new people, students but still, must have been overwhelming for the poor girl. Being in the 'hospital' her whole life doesn't really boost your social life.
It made Dani mad, furious even. Those people didn't see them as people but just as mere subjects. And when they failed, well... they were disposable.
Being so caught up in her thoughts (again) she had failed to notice that Illy had returned and in fact was looking right at her with concern written all over her face. How long had she been standing there?
"Dani?" She asked cautiously. She didn't respond. "Dani" she tried again but more firmly.
When the Chayenne finally responded she was startled, scaring Illy.
When she realized she immediately apologized. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm glad you're back."
"Dani, can I ask you something?" The Pale Blonde asked, unsure. Dani nodded. "Do you- Would you like to go with me?" She said "To Limbo I mean."
The Chayenne didn't answer, too stunned that Illyana wanted to show her, it meant so much to her. It was her one safe place and she trusted Dani enough to share that with her. She was truly touched.
Then Dani realized that she hadn't answered yet, so she did. "I would like that very much" Illy smiled, and if you asked Dani it was the most purest and heartwarming sight she had ever witnessed in her still short life.
"Alright then, ready?"
"Ready" The Brunette answered, and off they were.
