Twin size mattress~
Later that day, Atsushi learned their roomate's name was Chuuya Nakahara, who came along with his "friend" Osamu Dazai (only Chuuya adressed the guy by his first name though).
After class, Atsu failed to notice the look in Junichiro's eyes. Junichiro Tanizaki was looking at his new to be crush with shiny pupils, as if he were starstruck. He then failed miserably in his attempt of asking the new classmate for their number or social media, whatever that would get him more information about them and interaction with Atsushi. The situation fueled Juni's disappointed face: Atsushi had been picked up by Ryuunosuke Akutagawa, the most unapproachable, asocial and intimidating boy he knew, at the end of class. If Mr. Demon was making an effort for Atsushi, letting himself be seen more than usual, talking with the other newbies (who were probably Atsushi's friends) and forcing his malfunctioning lungs (Akutagawa's chronic disease was a secret to no one) running to get to Atushi's lessons in time to pick them up (for the lessons they didn't share) could only mean one thing: Ryuunosuke Akutagawa was in love and ready to give his all to Atsushi.
Looking at the way Atsu reciprocated the actions the black haired boy did, how happy they were whenever Akutagawa would make a gesture for them and how couple-coded they acted all of Juni's hopes were deflating at a worrying pace. His heart, on the contrary, was more than happy to put up a fight and see who "won" the non-existent competition. He would look for even more "competitors", but he would do it from a distance.

"HAVE YOU ALL HEARD ABOUT FRIDAY'S PARTY?!" Higuchi would have crushed whoever was in her way if the halls wouldn't have been empty when we encountered her. I never really knew the girl before I moved, so I was excited to get to know her, although Ryu seemed to dread her company sometimes. I had to remind myself Ryuu wasn't as touchy and affectionate in public as he used to be before we got separated, and I focused my attention on the blonde again. "Wait, did you just say there's a party this Friday?" I felt my eyes spark, I had been waiting for an occassion like this for quite a long time. "We should all go together, oh my god!!!" I saw Ryuu smile and I took as he agreed with me. "I heard it's couple themed, so we should go together 'tsu, you and I." Before I could answer, he continued planning the week, the party being the centre of it all. "We have time to prepare our outfits and choose a theme to go with. What do you say?" I was surprised the least. I hadn't really expected he would want to go with me as he had newer friends and we hadn't seen each other in a year or more, but I was happy because we had thought of doing the same. "Aww Ryuu, of course I'll go with you! I was thinking of inviting you too!!"
"Yo guys, stop acting like you two are the only ones in the room!" said Tachihara with a blank expression, and Ryuu decided to ensure chaos. "Who are you asking out then, Tachihara?" The red head's cheeks turned pink and he eyed Gin. "Umm, Gin, would you accompany me?" Ryuu was not amused. Gin, on the contrary, covered their face with their hands and felt the embarrassment click in. "WHY WOULD YOU ASK ME RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW?" she asked before facing the wall and running straight to their dorm. Ryuunosuke watched through it all and started laughing, which caused all of us to laugh too. "WHAT THE FUCK MAN" said Tachihara in a half panicked state of mind.
"What the hell did your sibling mean, Mr. Emo?" By the change in Ryuu's and Tachi's faces, it was clear the latter regretted what he had just said. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST CALL ME??!" Tachihara was miles away when Ryuu mouthed that, knocking on Gin's door. "Gin, your brother is coming for me, please let me in!""YOU- WHY ARE YOU HERE- GO AWAYY" She said in a high pitched voice, still utterly embarrassed. "Gin please-""AH, here you are. I see your favorite thing to do must be annoying me, because EVERYTIME YOU SPEAK I end up feeling the rage inside me." Tachi, on the other hand, was ready to put up a fight. "YOU fueled all of this! You KNEW I was going to ask Gin out!!!" In the end, Gin agreed to go with Tachi and we settled down for a meet up on friday afternoon to prepare for the party.

Once Atsu entered their dorm, though, they met a glimpse of the reddest hair they had ever seen. "Hello there, Atsushi! Your boyfriend introduced us before, I am Nkahara Chuuya but you can call me Chuuya." Atsushi had to admit that even though the guy was shorter than them, he was well tanned and his body looked GOOD. He was atheltic and his smile was the cherry on top; the never ending smirk made him look very attractive. "Um- HI! Yes, I am Atsushi, it's a pleasure to see you again!" I then noticed what Chuuya had just said and spit out my water. "Ryuu and I aren't dating though!" The only thing Chuuya followed that with was a "Not yet". Atsushi decided to give it up and offered a cup of tea to Chuuya, saying they were going to bring some friends to the dorm if Chuuya was okay with it. In exchange, Chuuya invited his "sister" Koyo, they'd set up everything for 6pm. Chuuya continued with his sport routine and I decied to unpack.
I learned a bit about Chuuya that first day: The person he spent most time with was Dazai, as they were childhood friends and they had shared their whole life with each other up to that point. He was president of most sports' clubs and played for or coached most of them as he loved sport with his soul. Another interesting fact I found out about was that Dazai always went to whichever sport it was, but to watch Chuuya's matches. I thought that was cute. Apart from exercise, the red head loved fashion, specially when it came to be about hats. He enjoyed going on walks with Ozaki Koyo, his "older sister" and drinking tea in winter afternoons (all year around, really).
Although it felt like five minutes had passed, they found themselves arranging everything for the tea party in no time. Their dorm included bunk-beds and the other half of the room consisted of a carrier for their things (mostly hygiene related stuff), some gym related objects Chuuya owned, a sink with a eliptic mirror and hand-washer as well as their toothbrushes and toothpaste and a corner for their school bags. They had decided on bringing their own chairs, so some chairs and a tiny table completed the room's look. Apart from the room itself, there was a bathroom the two teenagers shared: a shower, another sink and a toilet set it up. Just as Chuuya was serving the tea, they heard three knocks on the door, so Atsushi went to see who it was...
In surprise, they found two rather unexpected "guests" awaiting by the door: Ryuunosuke and Junichiro were eyeing each other with a gloomy look in their eyes until Atsu appeared to make them both forget about their issues. "HI, what's up Ryuu and um... whoever you are? Chuuya and I are about to have a reunion right now, so I won't be able to let any of you two in, sorry." Juni was confident and so he managed to answer before Ryuu did. "Hii Atsushi! I am Junichiro Tanizaki, from your gardening class before. I was hoping I could get your social media or your number so we can get to know each other..." I looked at this Juni guy and thought "why not?" to myself. "Sure, while you're at it give him my number, Ryuu. I will text you later boo, now I have to go." I closed the door.
Sigma's pov
Behind the dorm's room, Ryuunosuke looked like he was having an aneurism (or Sigma thought so). He was as red as a tomato and Juni was desperately trying to get an answer to his question. "Give me Atsushi's number, man! They have given me permission!!" I decided to step in as both Lucy and Kyouka looked unbothered and the red headed looked helpless and agonizing. "Hi, I am Sigma. I will gladly give you Atsushi's number if you two stop being an inconvenience in front of my friend's door." My words seemed to work like magic, because Ryuunosuke got his cool back and Junichiro smiled at me happily, just like a kid. "AH, thank you so much Sigma!! I'll be forever grateful to you."
Once we left the peculiar pair behind, Atsushi finally opened the door and let us three in. It wasn't until they closed the door that I noticed another woman in the room. As she presented herself, she was Ozaki Koyo, Koyo for her friends.
And like that, the tea party started.
