Note
With the Owl House finale, I have So many ideas.“The Demon Within Me” is still my top priority. But I decided to make this more light hearted story that can help with the upcoming angst with that one. Consider this a side project. This is a retelling of Puss in Boots; The Last Wish (that movie is awesome. It was my favorite movie of 2022. Go see it if you haven’t !) with the Owl House Characters. The roles are...Amity=PussLuz=KittyOC=PerritoWillow=GoldieHunter, Gus, And Skara=The BearsBoscha=Jack HornerKikimora=Horner’s assistant.Ed, Em, Eda and others appear in minor roles that are original to the story. As for who plays Death. I’ll let you find out that one. But...it’s not an Owl House character.

Death Always Hunts You Down

That whistle filled the bar completely, and suddenly Amity got cold.

She turned to her side, and gasped.

A cloaked figure was sitting at her side. She could have sworn they were not there anymore.

"Well Well Well." The figure said. They had a female voice. It sounded neutral but...it had an edge to it. "Isn't the famous Blights. Emira, Edric, and Amity."

"Eh...hello."

The woman looked at them, with some....deep yellow eyes. Her skin was white...so white...

Amity could also see her hair, and she imagined it was red.

"Look at you, the twins with their green hair, and the young one with that purple hair. Looks better than the green one you had later on."

"Thanks..."

"You know. I am a big fan actually. So much that I wish that you could sing this for me."

She handled each other a paper.

And Amity saw...it was her wanted poster.

"Sing right here." The woman said, pointing at the dead part of the sign.

That's when they all knew who she was.

"Sorry, I am afraid we Blights laugh at the face of death...bouty hunter !"

Amity stood up, her sister and brother behind her.

The woman just laughed, taking her hood off.

Amity was shocked. This woman...had two horns coming out of her head, and a flame in top of it !

"So I've heard."

"You are not getting your reward easily." Edric growled. "Let that be clear."

"Everyone says the same. They all think somehow they are gonna escape me. But it always turns out the same. Each one is caught, and you won't be the ones that escape."

"May we know your name, before our battle, bouty hunter ?" Emira asked.

"I've been known by many names, but you may call me, Lady Hekapoo." She said, grabbing herself a drink.

"Enough, let's bring her do...."

Before Amity could even react, she was slapped to the wall.

She groaned in pain in the wall.

"What the ?"

Edric and Emira immediately leaped to battle.

But it seemed that Hekapoo was barely faced by them. Dodging all of their attacks like nothing.

"Too slow, gotta be better than that, is that all ?"

Hekapoo then got out two blades, and striked at Edric and Emira, sending them flying.

Amity growled and went for the attack.

She summoned an abomination fist, and got ready to fight. Launching herself to punch Hekapoo on the face.

Only for her to catch it like nothing.

"You Blights are not worth of the legend."

With that said, she slid Amity threw the table, and threw her away.

Hekapoo finally stood up, and attacked.

Amity and her siblings tried to attack, but she was...she was just too much !

Everytime she tried to do something, to try an attack...Hekapoo countered it, and attacked on her own.

Amity was thrown to the floor, with Emira being thrown at her side.

"YOU BASTARD !" Edric yelled, attacking.

But then....Hekapoo just striked Edric with her blade.

Edric fell to the floor...and did not stand up.

"EDRIC NOOOO !" Em yelled.

Amity could not move...she could not speak...

Her brother....no it can't be...he is a Blight !

Amity then felt something on her forehead.

She raised her hand, and gasped.

Blood. Blood was dripping from it.

She had been hit.

Amity started shaking, her breathing started going faster.

"Hmm. How I love the smell of FEAR !" Hekapoo slammed her blades in the floor and walked towards them.

"We are not afraid, come on Amity !" Em yelled, going to fight as well.

Amity simply could not move.

“What’s wrong ? Life’s flashing before your eyes ?” Hekapoo asked, just as she fought Em.

Amity then started....seeing her past.

Her birth.

Working with her father on his workshop.

His funeral...after he lost all his lives.

Escaping her abusive mother..

Her adventures with Ed and Em...

Luz...

She saw her a lot.

“Hola Hermosa.” Luz said in her mind,

It was a sudden shriek that got her back on reality.

She watched horrified as Emira also fell lifeless to the floor.

“Amity...run...” Emira mumbled, before dying.

Amity wasted no time and rushed away, locking herself in the bathroom.

Hekapoo smirked. “Two down, one to go,”

She walked towards her. Whisteling the same way she had when they met her.

Amity was panicked. Her siblings....her siblings are truly dead. She’s alone.

And she can’t defeat Hekapoo.

Amity looked around, and saw a sewer.

She quickly opened the lid, and jumped in, closing it with her magic as she fell.

Hekapoo, opened the door with her blades.

Only to find that Amity was gone.

“Hehehe. Go run run Blight. This will make it so much more fun for me.”

“GAH !” Amity gasped as she got out of the water.

She rushed out of the river, and walked towards the wood.

She looked back at the town one last time.

“Ed...Em...I’m sorry.”

She is officially the last Blight.

With her last life.

And and bounty hunter she can’t hope to defeat after her.

So with all options taken, all Amity could do was run.

Run for her life.

So she did, she ram, and ran and ran. She barely stopped.

When she finally had enough, she stopped at an inn.

“So this is where my life is now...perfect.”

Amity walked towards inn slowly, as it started to rain.

She walked towards a hill, and dugged a grave. Placing her abomination bottle, her cape, and her concealment stone in it.

"Here we celebrate the end of the Blights. They were fearless, they were heroes, they were.....a trio...but now...its just me....just me."

At last, she broke down.

"EDRIC, EMIRA !" She yelled, crying on the floor. "I'M SORRY, I'M SO SORRY !"

She stayed there crying. Mourning her beloved siblings...and the end of the Blight family. Going out in a whimper because of her.

In the town of Delmar, most of the people were already asleep.

But four figures were hidden in the dark.

"Are you sure ?" One of them asked. "Is it true ?"

"It is. The Blight twins are dead."

"Dam it. And the youngest one ?"

"No sight of her."

"Hey." She turned to another of her companions. "Try tracking them."

Her companion nodded and made blue spells to track.

"This is great. First Noceda declines the job, and now this." She groaned.

"Worry not." The last of the figures said to her. "We will be able to put this on."

"Found it !" The tracker said. "She clearly got out of the place after her siblings died."

"Oh well. Now that is just, perfect."

The four figures stood in a light, to reveal who they were.

A woman with glasses and black hair, a man with gold hair and scars, a small man with black skin and black hair, and a black woman with grey her.
