Note
~Daisy/Skye was raised as Hydra ~everything is still the same till s1 which I will write about in the prologue.~Daisy/Skye does have her powers and had them the whole time.~ I have seen AoS once and half times so I remember the basics but as much a I like canon which will be for the basic 'plot' but i will be making up stuff.~ all ages the same but Skye/Daisy will be a bit younger then her age in the film(25-26) at the being of the show.~ I'm basing Skye/Daisy by her looks in the comics, like the with the pixie cut.~don't expect much, plus the story will probably move quickly as I can't write any filler chapters for life.

Chapter 28

Three months, a quarter of a year, ninety Days, twelve weeks, or how anyone puts it, A lot can seemingly happen in that time. For instance one finds out they can teleport and the other can create anything from thin air or the over way around.

A couple sat in their room day and night without the exception of training and the occasional meal with the rest, reading handfuls of spell books and the different ways of witchcraft. The one with seemingly red magic picked it up way faster than the one with deep purple yet it gave her more time to help her girlfriend by any means she deems.

Naturally, they are on the same level of knowledge now, despite Wanda being the more earth related with a fascination with plants even if one of her girlfriend's powers is earth manipulation. Looking over at Daisy as she tucked the now shoulders-length white hair behind her ears and engrossed herself with the ancient Latin texts.

She was quickly mumbling each word under her breath all in the same language. If Wanda didn't know better she would have thought Daisy was casing spells at this very minute.

Bored, Wanda changed a rock back and forth from stone to crystal to stone again. It wasn't even mildly entertaining but she had grown tired after reading all of the witch-related books they had and not allowed no were near the restricted section.

She wasn't one to break rules seeing as she always bossed around Pietro a lot at children. But it was more an itching voice at the back of her mind telling her to read the books, absorb the information and let this voice out. Playing it of her growing mad at the three days that have been neglected of sleep and instead took Daisy's example and drown her insides with coffee.

Almost jumping out of her skin as Daisy slammed the heavy book closed with her extra strength, grinning like a Cheshire Cat.

"Scared ya'" she flopped back down into the bed after being slouched over the book for an alarming amount of time. Sliding in next to her Wanda played with her hair, twirling the fair locks around her finger.

"For someone who is around a hundred you are quite immature." Daisy's deep brown eyes which were forever mixed with a tint of purple looked right into her own.

"Well I have only really lived twenty-three of those years so physically I'm ninety-seven, looks and mentally are twenty-three. My Wanda you like older women, don't you? I get it really." Hitting Daisy weakly as she blushed the colour of a rose noting the coy smile graced of Daisy's lips.

"I feel like Strange is hiding something," Daisy spoke up after a minute's silence and Wanda couldn't deny she had felt it too. The way he looks at them cautiously, stepping around certain subjects and not demanding them to do anything apart from leaving certain books alone but then no one was allowed near them books.

"I think we can go back you know. We have learnt as much as we possibly can with the limited knowledge and lest pray a civil war hasn't broken out between Stark and Mr USA." Wanda chuckled slightly at the nickname for Steve. Even if it was a short amount of time to learn witchcraft it didn't help they were fast learners, Wanda to be precise seemed to get a greater grip on it than Strange and he's only been a sorcerer for less than a year also.

"We can easily come back here to gather more books. There are still a few I would like to read." Wanda's smile made Daisy's heart jump just a few more paces, so pure despite what she had been through.

So later on as the sorcerers gather around for dinner with Daisy and Wanda attending, they loudly announced they were leaving. Stephen looked quite unsure at that protesting that they needed to stay for a little longer.

"What are going to do? Stop us. It's not like you can." Daisy asked with a slight arrogance hidden in it. Stephen told them the myths and even if Daisy doesn't really believe in them it was a good bribery tactic she sort to use when she can. Wanda next to her nodded at that as she wrapped an arm around Daisy's shoulders.

Stephen, although reluctant, let them leave if they made a promise to return at least once a month to catch up on their training. Daisy suspected he had an ulterior motive behind them wanting to return but then again it was written in stone that they would make or break the world someday.

The goodbye wasn't at all tearful but they were at least gifted a few books that proved not helpful for the sorcerers at Kamar-Taj seeing as they focus on Erdrich magic and nothing else. The couple was politely sent through a portal that Stephen had summoned, just outside of the gates of the Avengers compound.

New York was snowing seeing it was the middle of December. The gates were strung up with colourful lights yet a closer look at the glass that covered the light where costumed engraved with the 'symbol' of each Avengers.

"Did you know you had a symbol because I certainly didn't?" Daisy inspected the lights, it was a bit eccentric to custom something so tiny and no one even realised it was even there.

"It's Tony, expect him to do things without you knowing." Wanda shrugged as they pressed the intercom speaker to let themselves in. Much to their annoyance, they'd omitted their ID card to let themselves in.

"This is Avengers Compound security, how may we help you."

"Look we just need to get in alright? We live here." Daisy knew it wasn't much use really because Stark has one of the best security in America right now, if she was forgetting the President she doesn't care much about it.

"I'm going to need proof of ID." Daisy and Wanda had half a mind to break in through the metal gates because it was the easiest way but that would cause a panic that they would be the root cause of.

"Our names our Wanda Maximoff and Daisy Johnson. Avengers." Wanda spoke through the intercom. They may have looked slightly different to their current IDs. Wanda's hair has grown a tad fit longer but as it did it darkened and was now quite curly than it was in her ID which was still straight Red hair.

Daisy also couldn't remember the last time she updated her, she wouldn't put it past her for probably being from the eighties seeing it was the longest time she was out of Cryo for. But then Tony made sure they all had new ones but then that was almost five months ago and in that time she'd run in with an ancient stone that ripped the life out of her and gave her white hair that fell to her chin.

"I'm sorry but if you have no proof of ID then we can't let you in. But if you would say your code names then I shall speak with Mr Stark."

Codenames. Codenames. Daisy and Wanda looked at each over astounded because of course when they had gone Tony had given each one of them a superhero name. Daisy scoffed because she did not want that really. Being an Agent was good enough, going out as a public figure was also alright but an actual name that the public gave her was not her thing. But she can't say she was slightly intrigued by what he may have given her.

Out of all the times now, Wanda had only remembered she'd had her phone on her. The past three months hadn't really called for it apart from the occasional call from Pietro. Rapidly she angrily texted Tony to let them in. And within a minute, the gates creaked open allowing them in.

They hadn't even made it down the snow-caked driveway before a forced crash into Wanda. Falling into the snow, The twin's laughter filled the air as they began to push each over as the other put snow down one's clothes. Letting the Twins catch up Daisy carried on walking down the path until Thor bounded up to her and wrapped his strong arms around her.

At times Daisy would have thought Thor was just a golden retriever who had cures put in him that turned into a human despicable him being older than most and a probably literal God.

"Lady Daisy it's brilliant to see you again. The Avengers told me about your mishap but now you are safe. But you have had a run-in with an Infinity stone and live to tell the tail." He looked positively happy that she was still wearing the necklace he'd given her all months ago. Leaving her as she was given off to the rest.

"I see a fight didn't break out then. Kinda hoping for a Civil War between the Avengers. I need excitement." It may not have been one of the better things to say to them but at least Tony and Steve weren't glaring at each other. Much to her surprise though is that the Winter Solider was among the lot. God, she has many questions.

"We're just glad to see you safe. By the way, loving the new hair." Clint came up to her with all smiles as he greeted her back. The two had bonded after Daisy caught him watching a Tv show she once watched. After a joke about threatening to say spoilers and a manhunt around the compound, the two had become almost good friends.

After a bunch of smiles and welcoming, they finally moved indoors as the cold was bitter against their skins. They'd gotten a few looks at the dress code because they were still wearing the robes of the sorcerer. But Daisy was easily to admit it was a lot more comfortable than her standard mission uniform that she's worn for most of her life so it was a breath of fresh air.

Tony was quick to say he'd upgrade them with a more suitable material but they declined because the robes held a sort of charm to them. But Tony while it was easy for him to flaunt his money can use it for good like upgrading them with safer uniforms and the whole this was surreal to her despite how long she was with the Avengers now.

"So do you want to explain the code names?" Wanda asked as they all flopped in the sofas that surrounded the false fire in the living room. Pietro had 'rudely' decided to cite himself between the young couple that sat on the loveseat. Yet it only ended with him half sitting on their laps and half on the sofa. Wanda didn't really have the heart to push him off yet.

"Well we all have them, Captain America, Ironman, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk and well Thor is just Thor. So you three needed one." He shrugged as if it was an everyday thing to give a group nicknames for when they go out.

It wasn't as if they go out anymore, apart from a few crimes here and there but the Avengers were more set on bigger crimes. They have vigilantes all around New York doing their job. A devil in Hell's Kitchen, ironic, A guy in spandex swinging around Queens like a spider. Daisy wouldn't be so surprised if Steve had taken up some sort of protection around Brooklyn.

Pietro wiggled like an excited child where he was sitting, which wasn't so comfortable for the woman he was sitting with, "So Tony had called me QuickSilver. Because it sounds cool and well I'm fast and yea." He looked practically proud to have the name, some times it was hard to tell if he was an adult.

"And you Wanda are called 'Scarlet Witch' its-"

At that very moment, Wanda seemed to have broken into a coughing fit as the choked on the drink she was drinking. Wanda and Daisy shared a looked because the name seemed innocent enough to anyone other than the people who actually knew what it meant.

"Any particular reason so that name?" Wanda asked while side-eyeing Daisy because it was almost funny that they picked that name without knowing the full verity of it.

"Your power is red so 'Scarlet' and you could be a witch so Scarlet Witch. It was better than Red witch or crimson Witch." Pietro was very happy with his pick in name, thinking he was quite smart for that.

"Ahhh, got it." Wanda nodded in understanding at the reason behind the name. It would be quite a shock for them if they ever realise that the Scarlet Witch wasn't just a harmless hero name.

"And you are Quake."

"Exceptional." She said with a deadpan face remembering the name she hated the internet gave her, to say she wasn't the least bit surprised that that was used.

As night settled over them the conversations got less and they all fell asleep after multiple binges watching Christmas movies. Daisy woke up at the stroke of three in the morning to a crick in her neck and a slight pressure on her stomach. After laying for a few minutes and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Not wanting to go back to move.

The dim multicoloured lights cast enough to make her take notice of her surroundings. Careful not to move as she assessed her situation. She and Wanda were laying on the loveseat with Wanda on top of her with a light blanket over them.

Pietro and Clint have huddled awkwardly on bean bags in a tangle of arms and legs and Pietro snoozed with less quilt than Clint seeing as he took the majority of it. Natasha was with Tony, Steve and Bucky (as he liked to be called) on the large L-shaped sofa each with more respectful positions than the rest.

That leaves Thor who was on the only armchair half sliding off it with his hammer crashed into the floor next to it. He mumbled inconsistent words under his breath as he slept sometimes with a jerk of an arm paired with it. The vision was sitting in an armchair somewhere, Daisy wasn't completely sure if he was asleep or even if he can.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y." Daisy Whispered thankful that Tony hand-coded it to whisper back is someone else did. It wouldn't do well to wake up them.

"What is it that I can do for you Agent Johnson?" The odd British female voice whispers back almost freakishly real sounding unlike robotic.

"Can you take a photo of the living room right now? Then send it to me then delete it?" Daisy asked as the AI agreed. A minute later her phone pinged which made Wanda shift slightly. Daisy wasn't completely sure when she went back to sleep but she did as the world turned back into pleasant dreams, unlike the haunting nightmares.
