Chapter 12
The Avengers compound, as it was named, was over the top in Daisy's opinion. But then it was a fraction of S.H.I.E.L.D and they had bases all over the world. Why not add a base in upstate New York as well.
The sun was up high above them raining down the heat on the group as they looked at the Building they had no idea about till a few weeks ago.
"So what do you think?" Stark asked he grinned wildly at the widened eyes.
"Over the top."
"Unnecessary."
"Brilliant."
"Wow."
"It's bigger than the Tower, I'll be honest, looks better as well.
"Man of Iron, I must say it is quite magnificent."
"Thank you Point Break. But please call me Tony." Thor nodded but thousands of years of learning manner will be hard to fix.
The tour lasted longer than expected because Tony seemed real into showing how every new item worked and would go on a rant before looking at he the bored faces.
Now standing in the weapons room which held the new suits Tony had made for them and had never seen until now.
Tony had the same red and gold suit with a few alterations along with Steve's more armoured suit with a small diver star on chest pieces.
Thor had a stand for when he ever wanted to get out of his, Tony had told them he couldn't beat making better amour for a God.
Next was Natasha's black high necked suit. She was fed up with the designers of the suits at S.H.I.E.L.D because they would make the near line lower than normal. But other than that she had more places to store weapons without them being too bulky.
Clint's was the same just more black and except for the logo. His old one was still good to use but Tony had made the chest piece and jacket bulletproof and the length was great to still run in.
Pietro had wanted to go next and was practically buzzing in his place. He was gifted a light blue sports top with what looked like a blink of lighting running down from the right shoulder to the left hip.
"These shoes, speedy, are designed specially to withstand your speed and not wear down easily. Oh almost forgot. Goggles because you probably have gotten the random bit in your eyes."
Tony handed a pair of normal-looking Google but it's Tony so they probably won't be. Turns out the plastic was made with some material that can withstand anything flying at high speeds.
The guy snatched the items out of Tony's hand and In record time put them on and was out of the room.
"Um, Well, Anyways your turn Witchy. I was thinking a cap or something but didn't in the end."
Daisy had snuck the coat she bribed and given it to Tony to modify. The coat came down to around Wanda's knees and had a slight corset shape to it. The deep red matched her powers and made her green eyes stand out more.
The rest was simple flexible jeans and knees high boots with a slight heel and a pair of black fingerless gloves that Wanda had with her for a few years before Hydra.
Daisy was dredging her outfit even if the overs had been alright Tony had pitched the idea to her to put a small flower instead of the eagle of the S.H.I.E.L.D logo but she shot it down as soon as it came out of his mouth.
She was grateful that she had the classic jumpsuit that S.H.I.E.L.D had given out. It had a white belt with two compartments and a thigh holster to hold a pistol or a knife. She was given a pair of heavy-duty white boots that came up just below the knee.
"Here I made these out of Vibranium it should help you control your vibrations more plus an extra healing factor as well." He handed her two gauntlets that she slipped onto each hand right away.
The vibrations that she always felt had dimmed a bit and felt less haywire. Looking around the room she saw a lone glass cup on a table and aimed. As it shattered the people had duct out of instinct even ish the glass had shattered into dust, she may have put more power the needed.
The vibration backlash fractured her bone, while the blood from Wanda stopped the breakage of the bones, the gauntlets seemed to heal faster with her already enhanced healing. It was almost as if she hadn't fractured anything at all.
"Thank you, Tony, lets make be on with the tour." The group moved out and back to the atrium where the tour started.
"That's the end of the tour, on your way please leave a review on our website. Have a great day." Tony mocked in a high voice of tour guides he had met before.
The group all rolled their eyes at once even without knowing it. They all went their separate ways. Clint to scout out the vents, Natasha and Steve went to inspect the training room with more detail, Tony and Bruce headed to the labs and Pietro wasn't far off in the kitchen looking for the snacks to rob.
Leaving Wanda and Daisy alone with Fury.
"Johnson, can I speak with you for a moment?" Fury asked as Wanda stepped away leaving them to talk.
"So what do you need, Fury?" Daisy asked looking at her new boss. He looked at her.
"Coulson called, they had an issue a few months ago. My toolbox was stolen by a group who called themself real shields and a group of Inhumans. Agents life's we're lost and he needs two or just one well-trained one. I want you to go on."
She couldn't possibly go back and face her old team not after what she did to them. Now she looked more like the bad one after capturing Ward away from them. He could have easily asked one of his Agents so why her.
"You expect me to go in and face them after what I did you must be crazy. You could send in your own so why me?" she was kind of shouting getting the attention of the workers.
"Your the only one that isn't with Coulson who knows he's alive. You don't have to show your face, under the alias of 'Agent 45' or just go in as Special Agent Johnson. Do what you want I don't care." He turned back into his usual Fury at the end. He was getting attached to the group he set up and was growing kind around them.
Going in with the mask sounded much more pleasant but going as an undercover agent undercover at S.H.I.E.L.D because knowing Fury he would want all the tales he could get about how the Director was working and how well his team was.
Once Fury made up is mind they can't change it now she had a decision to go or never face her fears.
And It took her a week of decisions to finally go in without a mask and then use it when she has Avengers work. Fury seemed to already k ow she would pick at option because he knows everything about everyone at any given moment of the day.

Coulson's day was going good to bad. Simmons was out of work because of her run-in with the space portal. Hunter and May just got back from their job to collect Ward only for him to be captured by Hydra.
The only two good things are that the stone portal she been destroyed and his request for an agent got put into play. And not only that he was told they were level eight and an Avenger. Only two people he knew fit that description were Romanoff and Barton unless a new one had gotten added in a month then.
May and he waited at the hanger door to greet the Agent. They needed a great trained on at the moment. And Avenger would mean someone he should be able to trust.
People had begun reporting hauntings and seeing ghosts and after the year of Jiaying and the Inhuman's killing of agents left, right and centre they had no time to train them all.
“This is Shield 146 requesting Permission to land.” Came a static voice over the comms. A female do it had to be a chance to be Romanoff. May always said they lacked in female agents.
“Permission granted.” Coulson replayed the sound of a jet landing sounded between the thick Heavy doors of the playground.
Only the female that buzzed open the doors made them raise their guns and call for more agents. All they knew is that she could have killed the actual agent and taken their place.
