Lighting up your world
Loki was more or less subdued when they got to the tower. One look at the angry faces surrounding him and he knew he had lost. His encounter with the Hulk had been more than enough to shake some sense into him so once he was cuffed and gagged the SHIELD Strike team.
“So she’s the one you pulled out of the portal?” Natasha said eying the girl keeping herself composed and face unreadable as she started seeing colors she hadn’t seen before.
Clint just stayed quiet trying to come to terms with the insanity of the last couple of days and adding to the unconscious girl that made him finally see the famous red hair his partner was known for.
“Are you okay?” Natasha said noticing him staring at her.
Clint slowly reached over and touched Natasha’s hair before she slapped his hand away.
“What are you doing?” She asked.
“Your hair is red. Like…” Clint started before he looked around and saw a geometric pattern painting on one of the walls. “Like the triangle in that painting.”
“You can see red.” Natasha said realizing what was happening. “Since when?”
Clint didn’t say anything just turned to look at the girl.
“The sky isn’t grey anymore.” Natasha said also looking at the girl.
“Still pretty grey with all the smoke.” Clint said before realizing what she meant. “Oh. Oh!”
“You are not wearing mourning clothes anymore brother.” Thor said. “And your eyes…”
Loki just gave him a look that just gave him an incredulous look.
“I think that’s…” Tony said looking at the flowers Pepper had in a vase and noticing Loki’s clothes and eyes were the same color just darker. “Green. Okay Well Today’s just full of surprises. Aliens invaded earth, gods are real and I met my soulmate.”
“Your soulmate? She mine…” Steve said.
“Not just yours.” Natasha said and everyone turned to look at the girl who quite literally crashed in and lit up their world.
