Chapter 24
"Let him Explain Loki." Stephen looked at Tony with caution in his eyes. Tony cleared his throat and began
"Well it was originally made for Bruce but it came quite handy for you.." Tony pulled up the schematic for the original cell. Loki was pissed.
"So you mean to tell me you'd like to lock her up?"
"To protect her if need be maybe. She nearly just died trying to protect us."
"Are you mad?! She was locked away for years!" Loki was trying his hardest to hold his anger back. Stephen took a step towards Tony
"If you think you're locking her away for any reason you're out of your mind Tony." his voice filled with determination and certainty.
"I won't lose her like I lost pepper!" Throwing his fist onto the desk Tony let out a sigh. "You guys don't get it. She needs protected even if that means she hates me over it."
"Hate you? She'll kill you and if she doesn't I will. You'll lose her in a whole different way if you betray her in such a way Stark." Loki growled as he went to turn to leave the room. "I didn't want to do this so soon but I'm taking her to Asgard for a while. I won't have your insecurities cause a damage none of us can fix!"
"She can't leave. Fury will be pissed." Tony glanced up his eyes filled with grief and stress.
"Quite frankly I don't give a damn what Fury thinks." Loki was on the verge of losing his cool completely.
"Leave her be Tony. She needs to get away for a bit because apparently you can't seem to think straight and want to lock her up." Stephen turned to Loki and nodded. Loki smirked and nodded back and left.
"You just don't understand. She would be safe till Thanos is gone." Tony said as the door closed after Loki. Stephen held up his hand.
"No I understand but she's not an animal we can keep in a cage. Her life is hers and what she does with it us up to her. Not us. You can't control everything Tony and the sooner you come to realize that the better."
"I don't try to control everything Stephen."
"Yes you do and you're about to push Y/n Right into Loki's arms for good if you haven't already!" Strange yelled as stormed out of the room. Tony sighed and turned back to the screen. In a moment of rage he swiped his arm across the table Letting out a scream of anger mixed with pain. He knew they were right.

Loki walked into your room as you were reading a book. He watched you for a moment as you were in your own little world enjoying yourself. He knew he had to move quick before Tony or Fury could stop him. You noticed Loki had entered your room and You could feel his anger and stress.
"Loki what's wrong?"
"Nothing. We are leaving." walking to your bathroom Loki began packing some of your stuff into a small bag. "You won't need clothes I can easily.." He was lost in his thoughts. You could see him beginning to calm down but you could also see he was rushing.
"Wait what?" You stood up quickly causing yourself to feel slightly dizzy. Shaking it off you walked over to Loki and placed your hand on his shoulder. "Talk to me Loki. What's going on?"
"I am taking you to Asgard. I want you to meet my mother and see the beauty my home holds." There was a knock on your door. You went to open the door to see Thor standing there with a huge smile on his face.
"I hear we are taking you to Asgard!" Thor boomed causing you to smile.
"Yeah I guess so" You turned to look at Loki who already had your bag packed holding on to it caused you to giggle. Loki looked slightly confused at you giggling the stress of moment ago melting away at your smile and laugh
"What?" He asked his voice almost as confused sounding as he looked.
"Nothing. You look good with a purple bag." Looking down at his hands he couldn't help but laugh slightly.
"It does make my eyes pop doesn't it darling?" You started laughing truly laughing which make Lokis heart warm and his anger at stark nearly melt away.
Truth is Loki did understand why Tony wanted to lock you away from the danger. However, Loki knew that it would likely push you over the edge and he'd lose you to the darkness like he was lost to before. It's a feeling of freedom when you let yourself go. When you aren't scared of hurting because you let go of fear, let go of regret. He also knew that if you let go there would be basically no chance of you coming back. You're far stronger then anyone he's ever met. Shaking your head you walked up to Loki and took his free hand and smiled at him.
"Take me away Loki. Take me to Asgard" Alittle dramatic you know but you felt playful and felt excitement to see Loki and Thors home.
"How about Loki gets you a proper outfit first?" Thor suggested as he went to walk out of the room but stopped.
"Brillant idea Thor!" Looking back at Loki he couldn't resist your smile
"As you wish my love." Lifting your hand in his he twirled you as you felt tingling form over your body. Closing your eyes you felt excited. Slowly you felt the tingling stop as you opened your eyes. Loki walked you over to your mirror and you gasped
"Beautiful work brother!" Thor cheered.
"Only the best for You Y/n"
You couldn't believe your eyes. You looked absolutely beautiful. You were wearing a beautiful red dress and your hair fell around you with your natural curls showing. Loki held your hand as you smiled at yourself in the mirror.
"Loki.. Thank you."
"You really don't need to thank me. I just want you to see what I see." You went to speak but Thor stepped into the room.
"Why don't we get going? I bet mother will adore you Plus I am missing my friends. I can't wait for you to meet them!" You felt even more excitement as you pulled Loki with you as you went to rush out the door past Thor. Loki planted his feet once you hit the hallway causing you to skid to a stop. You looked at Loki confused as he pulled you to him. You felt his arms snake around you as he whispered into your ear
"Trust me and Close your eyes my love." You smiled softly and closed your eyes. You felt a rush of air then a soft breeze. opening your eyes you smiled realizing you both were on the roof "Now we just wait for my lovely brother." Loki kept his arms around you as you looked up at the sky. The stars were out and the moon was full. You sighed and leaned your head back onto Lokis chest. Feeling his heart beat brought you a sense of peace. Here was this god standing behind you. At times it felt like he wasn't real but his pulse was a clear reminder he was alive. He was real and here he was with you holding you close as if you were all that mattered.
"Loki.."
"yes my love?"
"Thank you for saving me."
"You don't have to Thank me."
"yes I do. I'm happy I'm here with you now and I'm so happy you're in my life now."
"Y/n.. I couldn't imagine my life without you in it now. When you were taken I felt like there was an empty spot within me that nothing could fill. That's when I knew I needed you." You were shocked at Lokis confession but smiled softly at Loki.
"Loki... When they were doing what they were doing the only thought that kept me going was You.. I was holding on to every moment here. That's the only reason I didn't just give up." Tears filled your eyes as you remembered the fear of losing your memories of everyone. Yes you cared deeply for everyone but for some reason Loki held a very special place in your heart. Your mind wandered for a moment as you remember the first day you two met how he helped you with the agent. How he risked his place with the avengers just to help you. Loki wiped a tear that had escaped and kissed your forehead.
"I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. That I swear y/n I would destroy the realms for you, if it meant you are safe and happy."
Thor came running through the roof door and nearly into you and Loki "My gods I thought you guys left without me!" He noticed You in Lokis arms and stood there and smiled "You know, You two are quite adorable."
"Shut up Thor!" You both yelled to Thor in unison. He laughed and walked over to the two of you
"Let's go I'm ready to see home again." Thor Smiled so big Lokis arms tightened around you.
"Don't close your eyes love. you'll want to see this." Loki whispered into your ear as Thor lifted his hammer
"Heimdall Bring us home!" Thors voice boomed. Suddenly an extremely bright light shot down from the heavens and you instantly felt your feet lift off the ground causing you to grab onto Loki with a death grip causing Loki to in turn laugh and kiss the top of your head.
Just like Loki instructed you kept your eyes open and gasped in amazement as you saw the universe just outside the beam. Stars and plants, beautiful streaks of blues and purples and yellows danced across the universe. It was the most beautiful thing you ever seen, and within just a moment you landed on solid ground. Looking around you caught the golden eyes of a mysterious man.
"Well Hello there Lady y/n. Welcome to Asgard. Welcome back home Prince Thor and Prince Loki." the man said with a soft smile
"Hello Heimdall!!" Thor boomed again. So this was Heimdall. You quickly smiled at him and nodded
"Hello Heimdall Thank you for bringing me here." You felt Loki begin to move his arms from you as he took your hand into his
"Heimdall." Loki nodded to him as he walked with you and Thor towards the door way. You stopped in your tracks as you saw Asgard for the very first time. Loki and Thor both laughed slightly at your reacting
"Welcome to my home love." Loki kissed your hand "This too can become your home if you ever wish it." Your eyes widened. The gold buildings the beautiful sky, it all was absolutely breath taking you just couldn't believe this was reality.
"This could be my home?" You looked at Loki questioning
"I wasn't banished from here silly girl. I wanted a change and my father thought it be good to work with midgardians. I am so glad he did because it lead me to you." Loki smiled at you as he watched your expressions
"Come now brother Lets let mother and father meet Y/n" Thor placed his hands on Loki and your shoulders and begin leading you two down the rainbow bridge.
You are about to see the king and queen of Asgard, and truth be told you were terrified.
