Chapter 16
Two weeks Later
A lot of your time had been spent learning how to control your power with Stephen and Loki through out the day and your evenings were spent with Tony as you helped him craft your suit and then work on his suit with upgrades. The two of you clicked so well it was hard to not look forward to spending time with him. Naturally Tony would flirt with you and always call you beautiful He was smart, funny, and insanely handsome you felt your heart skip anytime he would complement you. You would just watch him while he was focused.
Loki and you didn't speak of the dream you had and Loki figured you forgot about it however he spent time making sure you. He felt his guard going down whenever he was with you and more then once you somehow managed to get some stories out of him. He was so impressed with how quickly you were picking up using your powers and even magic yet he knew to keep his distance and so did you. However during training anytime you touched your heart sped up and you'd remember the feeling of his lips to yours. When you were with Stephen you had the greatest time. You two were becoming incredibly close you spoke to him about your dreams, your desires, everything. In return you caught yourself watching him when he wasn't paying attention. You also caught him watching you with a soft look on his face then he would quickly go back to whatever he was doing. That morning you were training with Stephen You two were working on creating your shield without strong emotions which you were surprisingly finding difficult.
"Ugh!" You stomped whenever your shield had only risen half way before falling apart. Stephen walked over to you with a wet rag and wiped the sweat from your brow "Thank you" taking the rag you wiped the back of your neck and sighed
"Y/n You're doing great. This is really the first time we've tried using your powers without a lot of emotion go easy on yourself." He patted your back and took the rag from your hands "You are a strong beautiful woman with so many abilities. I don't get why you push yourself so hard."
"I push myself because We haven't heard anything about that agent or about hydra and they don't stop. If I stop pushing myself to be the best then they will strike and take me out or worse one of you." turning to Stephen you shrugged "I have to push myself. I can't lose you guys. Also i'd really rather Not die." Stephen nodded and had a look like he was thinking about something
"For one Id never let anything happen to you. Ever, And two I think we need a break. You can go off to Loki or Tony if you'd like we can pick back up later or tomorrow." your eyes saddened as he looked distracted. You reached your hand out and touched his arm. You didn't get your heart racing when you two touched but you felt a tug at your heart at the thought of leaving.
"I like talking to you and spending time with you." Stephen smiled at you. When he first arrived you were such a skittish person but even now he saw how much you've grown in the short time you have been around and in truth was it had been just over two weeks of knowing you, and that feeling of adoration lingered in care heart, but something more was there something he couldn't explain. You fascinated him
"We can keep going if you really want to. I just don't want to push you too far." placing his hand onto your shoulder you felt sparks spread throughout you. You recently had noticed your powers reacted differently to everyone. With Stephen your powers pushed you to your limits in order to grow almost like they wanted to match his power. With Loki your powers copied his nearly perfectly without you even trying. You had taken him into your mind completely and neither one of you had spoken of it since. With Tony Your powers didn't show as much however your intelligence was sky rocketing so fast it nearly frightened you. You nodded and turned away from Stephen and began walking to the other side of the room. You craved the power these guys gave you. A craving that could be dangerous if you didn't have self control.
You slowly went into your attack stance and smirked at Stephen "Show me what you got magic man" winking at Stephen he returned the smirk and went to open a portal below you. However you were able to feel the ground change and used that to your advantage and changed the molecular closing it immediately. Quickly you charged at him as he through up his shield you casted an illusion as you teleported behind him. Your illusion stopped right in front of the shield and looked confused. Stephen went to chuckle as you raised your dagger to his throat causing him to freeze. Slowly he turned to look at you with wide eyes his expression softened as he noticed you had a huge grin on your face. "I win magic man" He smirked and snapped his fingers causing magic chains to form around you causing you to drop your dagger and constricting you so you couldn't move. You fought with all of your strength against the chains which caused them to tighten. He took a step towards you and lifted your chin to get you to look at him and he slowly leaned in.
"This magic man knows how to stop titans. These chains will only tighten if you fight it. Do you yield?" whispering in your ear gave him shivers being so close to you he didn't realize the same effect was being caused to you. You struggled some more and realized he wasn't lying. The chains did tighten again causing you to gasp worry flashed across Stephens face and he waved his hands causing the chains to vanish "I'm sorry if I went too far"
"Not to far at all" you winked at him and took his hand "Sometimes chains are... Fun" You winked at him and turned away to pick up your dagger. He was at a loss for words. He did not expect you to flirt so openly. Shaking his head he smiled to himself. You felt your necklace send energy into you. A smile on your lips as you turned to Stephen "Thank you so much for helping me grow stronger. This means more to me than you'll ever know."
"We just want to keep you safe and if that means growing your power and tra-" You held your hand up to interrupt him
"Just thank you. I don't know what id do without you guys."
"We are here to stay. I am here to stay."
"I hope so." You walked over to him and wrapped your arms around him. He returned the hug allowing your floral smell to fill his nose. Just then the emergency alert began blaring. You and Stephen looked at each other and both took off to see what was going on
