Chapter 13
You began to feel yourself wake. The sun creeped in your windows as you turned away from the light. You groaned not wanting to be awake. You were just so comfortable. Slowly you began to open your eyes. Looking around the room you smiled to yourself Another night without nightmares. You felt yourself fill with joy knowing that this was now your life. This morning you were training with Stephen. You couldn't help but feel excitement. You climbed out of bed and rushed into the bathroom to get a shower.
After washing your hair and body you stepped out of the shower and wrapped yourself in a towel. Looking at yourself in the mirror you couldn't help but look over yourself. You hardly had a scar on your body how was that possible? You touched your necklace and looked at yourself feeling happy. Truly happy. You had people who cared about you. It had only been a few days since you got out of Hydras hands but you were feeling hopeful. Walking out of the bathroom you hear a gasp and look up and nearly jump out of your skin. The floor around you turned to ice. There stood Stephen who had covered his eyes
"I am so sorry." He turned around quickly. "I was just coming to see if you were ready but uh clearly you're not. I'll just go."
"Stephen just stay turned around. I'll be ready in a moment." You waved your hands slowly getting the ice to vanish as you walked over to your closet and began grabbing an outfit Tony had thankfully given you. It looked comfortable. You quickly changed and felt so much more comfortable.
"Sorry about that Stephen. I just wanted to freshen up." You tied your hair up and walked over to Stephen and placed your hand on his back so he could turn around. He kept his eyes closed as he turned causing you to giggle a little bit "I'm dressed now" He nodded as he opened his eyes and looked you up and down.
"You look great." He smiled at you and walked over to the door. You followed till he stopped at the door. Your stomach growled alittle. Turning to you he opened a small portal and reached in and brought out a donut and handed it to you before closing the portal. You looked amazed.
"That's incredible!" you took a bite and sighed in relief. Strange smiled at you and opened the door. He could see why Tony seemed taken with you. He lead you into the hallway and closed the door. You turned to him while eating "Where are we going?" He smiled and Opened another portal in front of you two this one was much bigger.
"The Training room of course. Figured this beats walking there." He winked at you and stepped through. You slowly walked through and looked around. This was a totally new room but it was extremely well designed. The walls looked to be lined with sound proofing material and the floors were covered in a firm like foam. You and Strange walked to the middle of the room.
"So tell me Y/n do you know how to use any of your powers?"
"Some yes. I can teleport if I really focus. I can also freeze things when I feel I need to."
"Okay so when your emotions are high." He began to circle you. This caused you to feel nervous. "I ask this because in order to perfectly control your power you have to control your emotions." He stepped a few feet back from you "Now tell me are you scared?"
"No." You stood firm. He smirked and threw an energy wave at you suddenly. You Threw your hands up in surprise and a field of energy surrounded you. You looked around you in shock. The shield was purple with streaks of green. You smirked and threw your hand forward and sent the shield racing to Strange who used his abilities to break it.
"Clever girl." He nearly purred causing chills to run down your spine "Next lesson"

After about three hours of non stop training with Strange you had become a lot stronger already. You could form your shield on command, Throw that shield if needed, Teleport and blast your energy, and form ice balls. You plopped on the ground exhausted. Strange went to sit next to you sweat beading on his forehead "You are extremely skilled. You will master your power in no time Y/n"
"Its because I have a great teacher." You nudged Strange and smiled at him. He enjoyed the compliment and smiled back at you. Strange stood up and offered you his hand. You gladly took it and began to stand. Once you were on your feet you felt an electric current run down your arm and into your hand. Strange and You both gasped.
Before your eyes flashed The two of you it looked like you were in battle together. Strange was on his knees. He looked badly beaten as did you. You ran to him and threw your shield up around you two. It wasn't very strong you could see your magic was fading out. He reached for you and you glanced back at him
"Go y/n If one of us must live I choose it to be you."
"Never. I refuse to continue with out you Stephen."You saw your field turn green and bright and you watched Loki limp to you and Strange.
"I refuse to live without you in my life Y/n"
"Tonys down!" Yelled a voice you didn't recognize. You looked a far and saw Tony crash land his armor severely damaged. You began to feel overwhelemed watching this play out in front of you. Stephen watched in shock looking to you now and again. You went to run into the action but Strange grabbed you.
"This is in our minds we can't help." Strange said softly as he held onto your arm watching what happens next. You look at the other you and feel your heart break. Loki and Strange are there Loki protecting you and you protecting Strange. The other Strange pulls himself up holding his stomach and pulls you close. Loki steps closer to you two.
"My love we must continue this fight. Will you be okay?" the other you looked to Loki and nodded. Loki took off towards Tony. Strange and the other you locked eyes for a moment. He placed his hand on your cheek and placed a soft kiss Before pulling himself back
"Lets win this. So I can win your heart for good" He winked at you The other you looked as if you were torn in two. Strange took off and began fighting again using all of his power. The other you raced forward but suddenly stopped. There on the ground laid Loki either knocked out or dead you couldn't tell and a few feet in front of him was Tony. He wasn't breathing and his chest piece was no longer lit up. You looked over and watched Strange losing fast You felt her pain and fear The other you let out a blood hurdling scream and suddenly Your energy shot out all around you as you dropped to your knees just as a monster was about to end your life.
You and Strange gasped and opened your eyes to find you and Stephen laying on the Training room floor. Your head was throbbing. Strange groaned and sat up. Slowly he looked over to you. He never had that happen before. Was it the future? What was it?
"I..." You looked away turning red quickly. "I am sorry..."
"That was you?"
"kinda... If I let my guard down I can see peoples future... But Ive never brought someone with me before." Strange looked at you in amazement. He had never met someone as unique and powerful as you. He placed his hand on your shoulder and softly spoke
"Y/n You do know the future can change right?"
"Yes I do. My first time I saw myself being murdered by the doctors I escaped before that could happen." You spoke softly as you looked down at the ground "Just like the future We saw won't happen. I won't let you guys die." You spoke with determination. Suddenly The AI that you learned was called Jarvis spoke
"Y/n and Doctor, Tony has requested Y/n upstairs in the living room. Director Fury is here and wishes to speak to her." You placed your hand on Stranges hand and smiled softly.
"Thank you Jarvis I'm on my way." You walked away and out of the room. Strange watched you leave and suddenly felt the urge to follow you but resisted. He had to think about what he just saw and what it meant for him. He could definitely see why everyone was so taken with you, Because He started to feel it too.

You finally made it after getting lost only one time. You walked into the living room and found Tony yelling at a tall dark man with an eye patch.
"She's not going anywhere! You have the actual agent leave her alone!" Tony hissed at the man.
"That's not your choice to make Stark." You froze at his words. They both looked at you and Tony took a step closer to you his back towards you as he placed himself as a shield between you and the man with the eye patch. You stepped closer to Tony and placed your hand on his back and looked around him. The mans face only slightly softened as he looked at you. Tony reached behind him and placed his hand on your waist as a way to shield you some more
"Hello Y/n Im Nick Fury. Let's have a chat."
