Chapter 12
You quickly got dressed and instantly felt more comfortable. You were surprised how well these clothes fit. You walked over to the mirror in your room and looked yourself over. Your hair looked pretty good considering you slept so long. Turning around you smiled you haven't had real clothes in years.

Tony was already on the couch looking through movies he had as you hopped onto the couch next to him. He looked over to you and smiled. You looked stunning to him. Smiling you crossed your legs on the couch and leaned back relaxing
"So what are we watching?" You glanced at the tv then back to Tony who was just smiling "What? Do I have something on my face?" You reached up and touched your cheek.
"You look good Y/n those clothes fit you perfectly." He placed his arm behind you and looked back at the TV "Movie wise I was thinking because you haven't watched movies in so long I'd let you pick. Anything you want to see?" He handed you the remote and settled back to relax. As you went through the movies you came across one you wanted to see when you were younger but you never got to see it. Pirates of the Caribbean dead mans chest. Your eyes lit up as you selected the movie. You looked over at Tony with a big smile
"Is this one okay? I loved the other ones but never got to see this one." You were excited Tony could clearly tell.
"Yeah. Johnny Depp is a great actor I like most things he's in" Tony stood up and walked over to a closet and pulled out a couple of blankets and came to sit back down as you turned the movie on. He opened one of the blankets up and laid it over your legs then sat back down. You smiled at him and rested your head on his shoulder
"Thank you."
"No problem" You nuzzled your head on his shoulder then began watching the movie. Tony kicked off his shoes and propped his feet up on the table in front of the couch then covered himself with the other blanket and you two began watching the movie together.

it got to the part where Elizabeth kisses Jack when Tony rested his head on yours. You wrapped your arms around his arm as you were watching. Your heart picking up some speed. Being this close to someone especially someone you've began to trust was such a relaxing feeling you let out a happy sigh. Tony smiled to himself. he enjoyed having you so close. You smelled heavenly to Tony. You let out a small yawn and relaxed your body some more. Starting to feel slightly tired from being so comfortable for a while. Tony put his arm that was behind you, around you and pulled you a little closer
"You can rest on me if you'd like." He spoke quickly not wanting to ruin the movie for you. You felt his body heat and melted into being held you began to blush fiercely. Tony didn't move his arm. Instead he kept ahold of you and continued watching the movie with you.

Once the movie ended you let out a long yawn pulling away from Tony and stretched. Tony smiled at you and picked up the remote "Want to watch another one?"
"If I do that I will pass out. You're comfortable" you laughed.
"I don't mind if you sleep on me. I have enjoyed our times together." he shrugged and started to look for something else he stopped on the Big Bang theory instead "Ive been wanting to watch this but never really have had time."
"Lets watch it. It looks really interesting" You laid down putting your head on Tonys lap as another small yawn escaped your lips. Tony looked down at you little surprised but put his hand on your waist and clicked the show on. The two of you never laughed so hard. Tony was correcting a couple things but was pretty surprised how accurate they were on things. You were loving it. The two of you decided this would be your show the two of you would watch together from now on. After a few episodes Tony noticed your laughs had stopped and you had grabbed his hand and began snuggling with it. He continued to watch a couple more episodes as he let you rest. He was truly enjoying just having you near him. However he noticed his heart skip a beat anytime he looked down at you sleeping. He ran his fingers through your hair as he watched the show.
After a bit you yawned and stretched again. Turning to where you were looking up you smiled half asleep "I am sorry for sleeping." Tony shushed you and smiled down at you.
"Im just glad you're comfortable." you closed your eyes and nodded
"very" Tony noticed your necklace and touched it softly. His fingers touching you caused you to sigh
"Where did this come from?" He looked at you then back at the necklace.
"Loki made it for me so I don't have nightmares" You still had your eyes closed when you moved your hand and gently placed it onto Tonys. A ping of jealousy hit his heart. He wasn't even aware of you having nightmares and he certainly didn't like Loki knowing about that. Unfortunately you trusted Loki and even Tony could tell you two were getting close. You slowly opened your eyes and noticed Tony looked in thought "Are you okay Tony?" You looked at him and your eyes held an innocence about you that melted Tonys heart even more. He nodded and picked up the remote shutting off the television. You started to look worried. Was Tony mad at you? Tony looked down at you with a soft expression. Slowly he moved his hand to your cheek and smiled gently at you. Your heart picked up speed as you looked Tony in the eyes. His eyes held such softness you felt your heart doing flips.
"Come on babe lets get you to bed we have a busy day ahead of us." You sat up and looked slightly confused but your heart was still thrashing in your chest. You could feel Tonys attraction. Why was he looking at you so gently
"Why is tomorrow going to be busy?" Tony stood up and offered you his hand. Taking his hand you stood up. He held on to your hand as you two began to head towards the elevator.
"Tomorrow you start training for one. Also Nick Furry is coming to get that agent." You froze at the mention of the agent. Tony turned to you still holding your hand "Y/n I won't let anything happen to you. Please trust me on that." his eyes were pleading. You sighed and tried to relax. Taking Tonys other hand.
"I trust you Tony. I know none of you will let me be hurt. I'm still just scared at times." Tony took his hand and lifted your chin.
"Babe you have nothing to fear. I will always be here to protect you." You felt frozen. Here you were in a living room not even three days after escaping, with the man who saved you and he looked at you like he'd lay his life down for you. Your heart swelled as you smiled gently at him. He slowly began to inch his face closer. He closed his eyes and moved closed your lips barely an inch apart when you placed your hand on his chest.
"Tony as much as Id love to I need time.." You looked down. Ashamed of yourself for pushing away someones affection. Tony moved his hand to yours and nodded.
"Of course y/n. I never want you to feel uncomfortable. I'm sorry." He took a step back "How about a date sometime instead?" You looked back at Tony and Smiled. You were about to answer when suddenly Thor walked into the living room on his way to the kitchen.
"Oh Hey Guys!" Thor boomed as he entered the room. Suddenly you felt Lokis necklace begin to pulse. You looked towards Thor with a smile. Thor always made you smile and he never had to even try. As much as you were attracted to Tony, You knew you were likely to attach to someone quickly and you didn't want to risk ruining your chances at a good life just because you craved kindness. You looked at Tony a smile and nodded telling him yes. He looked excited and winked at you.
"Hey Thor. We are actually heading to bed Thor. We'll catch you tomorrow." You smiled at Thor and headed out of the living room with Tony following
"Goodnight Lady y/n Sleep well." Thor waved as he headed into the kitchen. Tony and you got into the elevator and headed up to your rooms. The two of you were silent on the way there. You leaned on Tony and smiled to yourself. He slowly put his arm around you as you let out a yawn. The elevator door opened and the two of you stepped out he kept his arm around you as he walked you to your room As you walked up to your door you looked over at Lokis. You noticed no lights were on so you figured he was finally sleeping. Turning to Tony he moved his arm and took your hand.
"Thanks for watching a movie with me and becoming my new show buddy"
"Absolutely Tony! I'm so glad you asked me." You squeezed his hand softly. You felt so good around Tony. Tony took a small step forward and kissed your forehead. The contact sent an electrical current through out the both of you. You looked up at Tony with your lips parted. Tony felt the spark like you did. He had not felt a spark since Pepper that he almost forgot that it was possible. Without thinking you leaned up and kissed Tony softly on the lips for a brief moment. Tony went to respond when you smiled at him and opened your door. "Goodnight Tony." You walked into your room and closed the door before he could say another word. Maybe you could allow yourself to feel what you want to feel. You felt safe around Tony. He saved you. However your mind also went to Loki and how he is so gentle to you, so kind. Not what everyone kept saying about him. You touched your necklace and sighed. You were going to be pulled two ways and you just knew it. You laid on your bed and thought for a bit before you knew it sleep over came you.
