movie meals and interesting footage (part 3)

“Y yeah that’s” y/n looked down at her hands and realized how badly she was shaking “that’s probably a good idea” she couldn't remember what she had seen because Yelena had distracted her so thoroughly, but she knew it was bad. She could feel her body reacting to it now that the adrenaline was wearing off.
Without warning y/n found herself in the arms of her redheaded alpha as her younger alpha headed towards the food to make her a plate… They were officially in what y/n liked to call their ‘Take care and provide mode’... She could work with that.

Natasha walked up to the third level of the theater room with y/n in her arms. She knew the night was going to end with everyone on the second level sleeping in a pack pile, but she wanted some personal alone time with her mates for a while before that happened.
The need to protect her omega was high with what had just happened and everything that had happened. She also wanted to take the opportunity to talk about the possibility of a collar once wanda came up with their food. She wasn't worried about interrupting the movie as it would start once everyone had their food and was sitting down ready to watch, which would take a good few minutes with everyone waiting in line and deciding what to eat and where to eat it. Luckily as she looked over her shoulder she could see that everyone had let Wanda go first.
She and Wanda had already talked about the collar and they had both agreed that If y/n wanted one, the rainbow one would adorn their omega’s neck until they could replace it with a more personalized one. A collar would only add to y/n’s protection, but y/n had to want and agree to it; Nat and Wanda would not force a collar on their omega, even if that rainbow one has been burning a hole in every outfit she has put on since getting it, waiting for the right time to ask.
Nat frowned as y/n continued to shake in her arms effectively pulling her out of her thoughts. ‘Maybe right now isn't the best time for that conversation. It should be a happy moment.’
When y/n nuzzled into her neck as she continued to shake, Natasha got a better whiff of her mate. She tightened her hold bringing y/n closer to her as she detected the first traces of her omega’s incoming heat. It would arrive any day now, probably the day after tomorrow if she had to hazard a guess. That is probably what they would talk about. She needed to make y/n comfortable though, that's what was a priority right now. ‘ Blanket. A blanket should make her more comfortable.’ she thought as she searched the theater room with her eyes as she approached the spot she had in mind for them.
The red headed alpha had made it a point to get y/n her special rainbow blanket in multiples that way she had one for every room people usually cuddle in, but she couldn't seem to find the one designated for this room.
Wanda was in the middle of getting their plates fully stocked ( and magically cut into cubes (except the pizza) because no one was choking on her watch) when her alpha linked her.
“hey Wands, where did we leave y/n’s rainbow blanket for this room?”
“Oh I think we had to throw it out… That horror movie was not our best idea. Don't you remember how many holes Thor and Carol accidentally put in it when that jump scare gave them a fright, and then Peter tried to web it back together for her but it just made it worse. They were apologizing all week. I don't think we got around to replacing it though, we had planned to do it when we went to the mall but… we didn't get to.”
The window sighed as she sat on the long couch with y/n secured in her arms. She and wanda would have to find something else to comfort their omega with. She purred and released some soothing pheromones in an effort to do just that. “ Okay, thanks anyway. I completely forgot about that with everything going on. Remind me to order another for the room please, or maybe five. Yeah five just in case.”
Wanda smiled as she placed some corn dogs on the plate. She'd leave that one whole as well, the stick was part of the fun, without it it would just be a corn batter coated weenie. “ Don't worry Tasha, I'll just get one of the others in the compound for tonight so we can all cuddle” she replied as she made her way up to her mates on the third level couch row.
The redheaded widow was a breath away from bringing up the topic of y/n’s incoming heat as Wanda sat down with them, but was a second too late as Tony asked his question first from his spot in line.
“So what is this movie about anyway Y/n”
Y/n had been gently placed in her older alpha’s lap as the had sat down and was currently wrapped in the protective embrace she loved so much, but the question made her pull her face out of her alpha’s neck. “What?” she asked for clarification.
This time it was Carol who spoke up “ yeah, what is it about? I haven't heard of it before?”
“Wait… Who..how.. Have any of you watched Brother Bear before?” It was a serious question, now that she thought of it, the movie would probably hit hard for some of her pack members and she didn't want to unintentionally hurt them or bring up forgotten and forgiven pasts.
When not a single person admitted to having watched it before, she got nervous and decided that maybe it was best to change her movie pick of the night. “ umm.. Maybe we should change it then.”
Peter tilted his head to the side. “Why would we change the movie, it's the only one you chose?”
“Yeah it's just an animated movie, how bad could it be?” Steve Replied.
“Plus there aren't that many movies that we can all say we haven't watched” Sam reasoned.
Natasha hugged her omega closer. “We can watch whatever movie you want, Detka.”
“Raise your hands if you want to see the movie?” Wanda raised the question, trying to be helpful.
When again the whole room raised their hands y/n reluctantly did the same, she did after all want to watch the movie and she had tried to warn them. It was one of the only movies she knew about before being taken and she really was in a mood to watch it. It's not her fault if, as Kate taught her, Disney got them ‘in the feels’.
“Okay, but I'm not going to spoil it then, you'll have to watch it to find out what it's about” y/n relented.
“Aww come on” was all that y/n heard as she started laughing. Her pack was a bunch of pups, but she wouldn't have it any other way.
