finally movies!!

Before anyone could get in a word Nat made it a point to inform them of what they had overheard “ y/n is going to pick the movies we watch tonight”
Some of the pack made noises of displeasure, but they were going to let y/n have her night. She surprised them though, or well decided to be her kind and generous self.
“Actually I'll just pick the first movie, as for the others, I'll take down any suggestions and put them into my ‘Daily Decisions’ app. That way it's fair for everyone” she declared as her mates smiled at her. “So, does anyone have any suggestions?”

As soon as those words left y/n’s lips, there was a chorus of voices all trying to speak. The battle for step one of movie night had begun and everyone wanted to get their movie choice out there even if it was an app that was going to end up deciding their movie fate.
With everyone speaking over each other there was no way to distinguish what was being said at all, so Natasha whistled to earn everyone’s attention after she rolled her eyes. “ Okay, if everyone keeps talking over each other we’re never going to get anywhere, so what we’re going to do is everyone is going to write down their movie choice on a piece of paper and then you’ll give them to y/n okay.” The widow lifted her pointer finger as she counted off everyone who was present and accounted for, softly saying their names as they were counted off. “ Wanda is one , Yelena is two , kate makes three, Steve is four , Jen five, Sam makes six , Bucky is seven , Carol is eighth, Kamala makes nine ,peter is ten, pepper eleven , tony is twelve, Morgan makes thirteen , Bruce fourteen , vision is fifteen, and myself, so that makes 16”
As soon as the redheaded alpha finished her head count a young alpha with dark curly hair walked into the shared space with a casual wave of her hand as her eyes searched over the group, landing on a very excited omega. “ hey guys”
At the sound of the alpha’s voice, Peter’s head popped up “MJ !”
The pack alpha smiled at the interaction between the alpha and the omega. Both were still young and hadn’t yet mated, but it was very obvious that they were mates, and the reason that she had access to the building and was a secret member of the pack. Natasha knew that though the young alpha didn’t have any powers or special abilities, at least not to help in battle, but she would properly protect, love, and care for the beloved omega, even if she only had a basket of bread rolls to fight with.. which she had done on several occasions with surprising accuracy. Even from where she was standing now, she could see that behind the young alpha’s casual demeanor lay worry. The window knew the girl was smart, and she was sure MJ had realized that the news report had put all the omega's in danger. “And MJ makes 17”
. Now that Nat was done explaining what was going to happen and with the final total the widow turned to her alpha “ Malyshka, do you mind…” instead of finishing her sentence she lifted her hand and wiggled her fingers.
Wanda laughed at her alpha’s antics. “ sure” With a red wave of her hand everyone was given an index card and a pencil to write with.
After a few minutes everyone had written down their top choice, or for some the first titles that popped into their head. Honestly most of them forgot what they really wanted to watch when they were asked, (don't you just hate it when that happens) but they wanted to still have a say so they went with their random thoughts. The index cards were then gathered together and passed to y/n.
Y/n took her job seriously, she had already chosen the first movie for the night and she wanted to make sure everyone got their chance. Carefully she stacked the cards in front of her as she pulled out her phone and disputed each movie into her app, or she started to but she knew she was a slow type and everyone was waiting patiently and her anxiety was getting the best of her, so she called out to FRIDAY.
“Hey FRIDAY, do you think you could do a random shuffling of our movie choices for the night?”
“Of course,” the AI answered, “ which movies would you like me to shuffle from?”
Y/n lifted the cards again and read them aloud “ first we have The mummy, then it's Inside out, the next one is Mama Mia” she paused squinting at the handwriting of the next one. “ the next is The princess and the frog, then it's Spirit: stallion of the cimarron, next one is Spirited away, after that is The little princess but the nineteen ninety-five version” she smiled as she saw the next one. “ then Wonder Woman, and The Goonies, and then The Perks of being a wallflower.”
At that Tony interjected,” not to put a damper on the evening but I don't know if all of these movies are entirely appropriate” sneakily using his eyes to point at Morgan without her noticing.
Y/n looked at the next few cards, Lord of the rings, Bad times at el Royal, The terminator, The last legion. They really weren't kid friendly choices but they were what were written and everyone should get their chance. “Well…” she thought for a moment. “ if something is chosen, we could put it on after some of us fall asleep”
Tony nodded his head, that sounded fair, still he asked Pepper with a glance. Smiling when she nodded and smiled at the solution offered.
With that sorted y/n continued “The little mermaid, The parent trap, Matilda, and Madeline.”
“I have all 18 selections loaded, how many stuffles would you like?”
The red headed widow cocked a perfectly shaped eyebrow “Okay who voted twice?” she asked, eyeing everyone around her, But then she came to a realization. Everyone was given a singular card, no one could have voted twice unless wanda had deliberately given someone two. However, when she turned and faced her alpha Wanda’s eyes got huge at being caught and she tried to look anywhere else making y/n giggle in her seat. Wanda had been caught pink faced and red handed. “Wanda?”
Wanda for her part tried to look innocent when she hummed her reply.
The alpha tried to hide her smirk when she asked her mate “Did you vote twice?” She already knew the answer and suspected the reasoning behind it, but honestly a guilty Wanda was so much fun.
Wanda looked down, tapping the ends of her pointer fingers together as she responded. “ …maaaaaybee” her face was still tilted downward but her eyes raised to meet her alpha’s giving the redhead a mental image of a guilty puppy.
This time she couldn't stop her smirk “ why?”
Wanda pouted huffing her reply “because I wanted to put one in for y/n, it didn't feel fair”
“Awww you love meeee” y/n smiled making her way over to sit in her brunette alpha’s lapthen nuzzling her neck as she rested her head over the rhythmic sound of Wanda’s beating heart.
Wanda’s face reddened further as the pack awwwd, and giggled, and smiled at their interaction but that was going to stop her from wrapping Y/n up in her arms and as whispering out a “ yes” as she nuzzled into her omega
“ I love you too” y/n whispered, making Wanda start to purr out in contentment. “FRIDAY pull out Wonder Woman from the list”
Wanda let out a small “dang it” at being so easily foiled, but continuing to purr as y/n snuggles deeper into her letting loose a purr of her own.
“Wonder Woman has been removed. How many selections should I make now?”
Natasha smiled at her beautiful mates ; she always felt so lucky when they were both around “make three selections then save them in order of movie rating from G-R with Brother Bear first and leave everything ready to play once the food gets here”
“Yes Alpha, would you like to hear the results?” the AI asked.
Natasha shook her head. “No thank you FRIDAY” then continued addressing the pack. “ everyone make a list of what you want then give it to Tony, today is a special pack night so everything goes”
The room erupted into a symphony of cheers and merriment at the prospect of tonight's feast and movie cuddle session. It really did do the job of making everyone forget their current troubles or the fact that their omega's had been put in danger. Tonight, everyone was safe and mostly together and everyone was going to be fed and everyone was going to have fun. Tonight was pack movie night.
