*He arrives at the penthouse and he finds Lily on the ground.*
Morbius: Lily! Oh god, you're bleeding a lot! Here let me help.
Lily: You have… *cough*
Morbius: No, don't talk. Let's get you to-
Lily: No… please. You have to stop him… you need to stop… Milo…
Morbius: You need a hospital.
Lily: He's going to kill more people. You have to go. I won't make it.
Morbius: No… No! No! Come on, we've got to get you to a hospital.
Lily: it's too late for me, Mitchel.
Morbius: But… The things I've seen, the things I've done, the friends I've made, I didn't get to tell you any of that!
Lily: So you've made friends? Heh, I'm proud of you. Despite your weaknesses you managed to grow strong on your own. You'll do fine, with or without me…
Morbius: Lily…
Lily: I'm just glad I got to see you one last time. And know that you'll be alright. Your friends will take care of you… go now… do what you've got to do…
*She starts to slump and eventually her life goes away*
Morbius: Lily… Lily! … mother…
*Morbius begins to lose his stoicism and nearly cries. His mother figure dying right before his very eyes. When suddenly he hears Milo.*

Milo: Mitchel… Mitchel… call out for him. I want him to hear you.
Martine: No…
Milo: Yeah. I won't ask you again. Say, “Mitchel”.
Martine: Mitchel!
Milo: Good girl. Mitchel…
Martine: Mitchel…

*Morbius uses echolocation to track down Martine, and get her exact location in the bustling city.*
Martine: Milo… you're hurting me!
Milo: Shhhh. It's okay.
*He slits Martine's throat. Morbius then quickly flies out of the balcony of the penthouse and uses the building as platforms to build up speed. He flies across the New York night sky like a bat, as the Soundwave that he can “see” lead him to Martine on top of a construction building.*
Morbius: Martine! No! Let me take a look!
Martine: No, it's fine.
Morbius: Please! I can't lose you too!
Martine: It's alright. Mitchel, make it mean something. I can help you.
Morbius: No… don't make me do this. I don't want to hurt you… I'm sorry.
Martine: come here…
*She reaches for a kiss, which Morbius reciprocates. But then she bites his lower lip to spill a drop of blood. It lands on her and she licks it to her mouth. As she slowly dies.*
Morbius: No… no… ggrrr.. No! NO! Gggrrr!
*Morbius's vampiric instincts begin to overcome him.*
Morbius: Anybody- But- Her! … gggrr… grrr…
*It's like his vampire side knows she's dead. And her blood will be able to power him up. But despite Martine wanting him to use her, Morbius deep down doesn't want desecrate her like that*
Morbius: I can't… ggrr… gggrrr… GGGRRRR
*But the bloodlust is too strong. He gives in and bites her neck. Sucking her blood.*
Morbius: GGRRAAAAGG!!!
*Milo claps at him. Standing in front of him.*
Milo: You drank the red! Good for you.
Morbius: ROOAAR!
Milo: Just you and me, Mitchel! Nothing, no one, to hold us back! I'm all you have left!
Morbius: Graah!!
*Morbius then lunges at Milo*
Milo: That's the spirit! Yeah!
*He falls down the building, where construction is still ongoing. Morbius falls after him, and tries to find Milo. Milo then attacks from the side. They claw at each other. Morbius uses a sound attack to knock back Milo, but at the same time he crashes into a pillar from the blast. Milo then wall jumps and tackles Morbius. They crash through another wall and Milo claws Morbius’s stomach open.*
Morbius: Aaaaghh!
*He falls into some construction bricks and rolls over to the ground, he nearly falls off the ledge of the building. Morbius gets up and sees he's bleeding from his stomach area. He tries to crawl back but he's weakened. Milo takes advantage of this moment and drags Morbius by the leg.*
Morbius: Mil-
*Milo throws him at a light up hotel sign. And he slams onto the letter H. Knocking him out and he falls down. As Milo flies after him, he tackles him through the hotel building, then he crashes them into the concrete street of New York City, through underground layers of it, until they both crash into a large cave beneath the sewer system. Milo lands on the ground but Morbius is hanging onto a pipe, upside down like a bat.*
Milo: Whooo! Hahaha! Come on Mitchel! Come on! You can do better than this! It's not a curse! It's a gift! You've started this! You've done this! You created us!
Morbius: RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
*Morbius yells out a powerful screech that echoes through the tunnels. And then he falls down from the pipe and lands on the ground, near a puddle. He seemingly faints. Just as it seemed like Milo won, small little vibrations and chirps can be heard. Milo notices the surface of the puddle is moving to the vibrations. Wings flapping can be heard as if Morbius had called for backup. And indeed, several vampire bats then appear out of the tunnel. Then even more show up. Until hundreds of Vampires show up and fly around Morbius. They get him up, as he rises out of the ground, Milo grabs a pole and intends to Kill Morbius with it. But Morbius starts to regain his senses, the Bats chirping at him, he's starting to understand them. He hears them calling out to him about Milo. Morbius then makes several clicking noises. The bats seem to obey his command and follow the movement of his hands. Just as Milo jumps and is ready to stab him, Morbius then moves his hands and commands the bats to attack Milo. They all in unison tackle Milo and pin him to the wall. Then Morbius commands them to pin him down and the colony of bats violently throws him down. Milo tries to fight back but he can't grab or claw at the bats. They are moving too quickly for him to attack them. Morbius manages to keep Milo pinned down long enough to pull out the antibody from his coat and stake Milo's heart with it.*
Milo: Aaaah!!! Mitchel!? You can't- you can't kill me! It's me. You can't kill me… eeugh!
*He slumps down, the antibody quickly weakening him.*
Milo: You gave me my name so long ago. Do you remember?
Morbius: I remember everything.
Milo: I'm sorry.
*Milo then dies a slow but somehow peaceful death.*
Morbius: Lucien…
*At that moment Morbius realizes he lost his best friend who he considered a brother, his mother figure who raised him, and the first woman he loved. All in one night. Morbius stands up and after everything that's happened, he drops the now empty antibody needle and begins to break down crying. Normally Morbius is calm and stoic. Always putting his emotions aside to evaluate his situation through logic. But this time he wasn't thinking. He was feeling sad. And he let it all out.*

*the police arrive at the hole that Milo made on the street of Manhattan.*
Rodriguez: They said they saw two Vampires duking it out here! Some witnesses even got out their phones and took video!
Stroud: It had to have been them. Morbius said he was going after Milo. Get a firemen team down there.
Rodriguez: Got it.
*But then bats fly out of the hole.*
Rodriguez: Ah!
Stroud: Get down!
*The police back off as bats begin to fly across New York City, Morbius flies out of the hole and flies across New York City with the bats following his command.*

*The next morning*
Sanji: I feel much better.
Nurse: My, you healed pretty fast!
Sanji: I choose a regular diet of healthy vitamins. I can teach you how to cook some amazing dinner sometime if you want to know my secrets.
Nurse: Nice try. But I have a boyfriend.
Sanji: DAMNIT
*He checks out the hospital.*
Luffy: How are you feeling?
Sanji: Not too shabby.
Nami: That's good. We're getting ready to leave. There's too much police activity and the Marines might get involved.
Sanji: Right.
Luffy: Now let's go!
*They head back to the port where they docked the Merry.*
Usopp: Come on guys let's go!
Luffy: Hold on! We're not leaving without Morbius!
Nami: He's not back? I hope he's okay…
Zoro: Guys, check this out.
*On the TV they see a breaking news segment*
J. Jonah Jameson: Good morning New York! We have some much needed good news on the vampire killings case. Last night the body of Lucien “Milo” was recovered from a cave system beneath the Manhattan Hotel. Believed to be the true culprit of the Vampire Killings. Doctors have examined his body, and believed he died due to an overload of iron. Police have decided to close the case on the vampire killings, and a memorial service will be held for the victims in the coming week.
Luffy: Woah.
Nami: He did it.
Zoro: He did this all last night and didn't even invite me! I wanted to slice a vampire.
Luffy: I wanted to beat him up for framing Morbius!
Nami: Well guess he handled the situation on his own.
*Morbius then lands on the deck of the Merry, and the Strawhats come outside of the cabin to see him.*
Morbius: … Hey.
Luffy: MORBIUS!
*He jumps onto and hugs him.*
Luffy: I knew you'd make it back!
Nami: Are you alright?
Morbius: Yeah, I had all night to process everything that happened.
Sanji: Are you sure? It couldn't have been easy to kill… your best friend.
Usopp: Yeah that must be mentally draining.
Morbius: I had all night to process the deaths of Mother Lily, Milo and Martine. It was grieving but the bats were oddly comforting. I feel better now. Honest.
Nami: Well, if you need someone to talk to, I mean… you know my story.
Usopp: Yeah I know what it's like to lose a mom.
Morbius: I'll be fine. I swear.
Nami: Okay, I'll trust you.
Luffy: Everybody thought you went rogue. But I knew you had your reasons.
Morbius: Thanks for having faith in me.
Nami: We all did. Except for Usopp.
Usopp: Hey!
Morbius: Oh I see how it is.
Usopp: Come on! I panicked! Plus I didn't know you were a vampire so it's not like it wasn't a completely unwarranted reaction!
Morbius: Perhaps. But I guess I'll have to bite you to make sure.
Usopp: WHAT!?
Morbius: I'm just kidding!
*He grabs Usopp and rubs his head*
Morbius: Come here long nose! I knew you'd get used to me by now.
Usopp: Ugh… I'm starting to regret lowering my guard down on you.
Zoro: So you're back to being part of the crew? I mean you can stay here in the city and go back to your normal life.
Morbius: I can't really. Even if I am proven innocent over the killings, I still have the piracy charges. Plus people will think I'm a freak now. Never to be accepted by normal human society. so I may as well go with you guys. I'm going out to the seas where I can continue my unethical experiments and explore what new worlds I may find to accomplish my dream. With people who won't judge what I am. Where I'm finally free.
Luffy: Hehehe, that's the Morbius I know!
Morbius: I just hope you guys would be willing to let me back in. Seeing as how I'm now an undead creature who needs to drink blood every 6 hours.
Luffy: It's fine! We'll donate blood if you need it.
Nami: As long as you don't attack us in our sleep, you're golden. In fact, I'll be the first to donate!
Morbius: Aw thanks.
Zoro: Plus they'll be plenty of bad guys for you feed on. If you're going to go for the kill, do it to someone who deserves it.
Morbius: I will.
Sanji: Back it up a bit, “undead”?.
Morbius: Yeah. Vampires are undead creatures
Sanji: Well you weren't raised from the dead. You got your powers through science while you're still alive.
Morbius: That is true.
Sanji: So that would make you the “Living Vampire”.
Morbius: Hmm. That is an accurate epithet I guess.
Luffy: Well then, let's set sail with Morbius the Living Vampire!
*They sail is set and the Merry begins to move*
Morbius: Perhaps going on more adventures will allow me to find a more proper cure and save my people. Hmm, to think I'd end up being a pirate to do so. It's a big change from being a scientist in New York.
Nami: You've been on a lot of adventures though. If you ask me, you've got this pirate thing down good.
Morbius: Hmm. Thanks.
Luffy: Time to let go of what you used to be. And discover who you're meant to be.
Morbius: … That is surprisingly wise.
Luffy: SANJI! I NEED BREAKFAST! NOW!
Sanji: Calm down! I'll be in the kitchen soon!
Nami: And he's back to normal.
Morbius: That's Luffy. Come on
*He grabs Nami's hand to take her to breakfast. She blushes, and actually seems to like it. So she allows it for now… and will charge Morbius for holding her hand later. The Merry sets sail to the open waters. With Morbius now permanently being a member of the crew.*
Luffy: Nothing can stop us now!
*But suddenly, the ship stops and tons of men armed with guns appear on the deck.*
Sanji: What the hell?!
Zoro: Not good!
Usopp: You jinxed us, Luffy!
Luffy: Sorry!
Nami: Who are you people?!
Morbius: Are you SHIELD?! I’m innocent! You should know that by now!
???: Oh, we’re not SHIELD.
*A man approaches them.*
Nami: Are you the navy?
???: We aren’t marines, either.
Morbius: Then who are you?
???: I’m Professor Trevor Broom. I represent an organization that is supposed to deal with supernatural threats discreetly. But you Pandora’s box.
Morbius: So what do you want?
Professor Broom: We can’t close it once it’s been open. We should arrest you for crimes you’ve committed. Such as illegal experimentation and piracy. But I’m a man who believes in second chances. I’m offering you a deal. You scratch our back and we’ll scratch yours.
Morbius: And if I refuse?
Professor Broom: Then I’ll have no choice but to place you in a prison for creatures like you. And all your friends will be incarnated.
Mobius:…What’s the job?

*Back in the city, The damage that Morbius and Milo caused is being cleaned up. On top of the building that's still under construction, Martine's body still remains. It hasn't been discovered yet. But it won't matter. Because soon she opens her red eyes*

*Meanwhile, a dark figure sits on a throne located in a dark cave. A small bat brings him a wanted poster of Morbius that was released a couple of days ago.*
???: So you’re alive after all these years…
