*A tall, almost 6 foot tall, caramel blonde haired woman with a beautiful face that's perfectly shaped, almost too smooth, With a curvaceous body, and pronounced hips. Her hands are slender with black nails, and she wears a calming blue that contrasts her upset slick and feminine amber eyes.*
Milo: I guess you discovered my secret. I mean look at me, I am reborn! I am the resurrection!
Mother Lily: My god, what have you've done to yourself?
Milo: Do you disapprove? What's the matter Lily? Is Mommy upset!?
Lily: Milo, settle down.
Milo: No! Come on! Let's have a drink together! Come celebrate with me! Just one drink!
Lily: Milo, please you're scaring me… just calm down.
*Milo is acting rather erratic. As he slowly backs away after tapping the shoulder of Mother lily.*
Lily: What's the matter?
Milo: I can't sleep!
Lily: I can help you with that. I've been more than a friend to you all this time, Milo. And I'm going to stay here with you. But there will be no more violence, understand?
*She gets a blood packet out, but Milo knocks it away.*
Milo: That doesn't do it for me. I need LIVE blood.
Lily: You're killing people, Milo. Does that not bother you at all?
Milo: Pfft. No. Why would it? The healthy have always looked down upon people like me! I say they get what they deserve.
Lily: Whether or not they deserve it is not up to you. Has Mitchel not taught you about being the bigger man? And ignoring them?
Milo: of course, I should've known you'd take his side.
Lily: Well then tell me your side! Why do you enjoy killing people!?
Milo: Because all my life… my entire fucking life I've been dying and the world doesn't care. You've seen how horrible it is out there. Either be normal or be a freak! Well now I've finally got the power to show all of THEM what it feels like to be so powerless! I'm mad at them all! You get it now?!
Lily: I get it. I understand your anger, Milo. I may not know what you've been through but believe me I do understand why you feel that way. To be casted aside for being who you are, I know what that's like. But you're reacting in a bad way! You are killing people and that is not the answer!
Milo: I'm a higher being now! Those humans are beneath me! They're like ants, who cares if I step on a few? When I'm superior in every step of the way. And Mitchel is the same too, but he wants to be a goody toe shoes about it! He actually feels guilty!
Lily: Mitchel understands when he makes a mistake, and always tries to correct it.
Milo: Well he doesn't understand! Mitchel doesn't accept what he is! Lily, I'm going to make him accept it!
Lily: By ruining his good name?
Milo: SEE! THERE! THERE YOU ARE! PERFECT MITCHEL! SELFLESS MITCHEL! MITCHEL THE FAVORITE!
Lily: Oh don't be childish, Milo! If anyone has a claim to be my favorite it's YOU. I've devoted my life to you!
Milo: Liar. You were there when Mitchel was left on the doorstep of that orphanage. You raised him like your own to make up for your bad parenting. Yeah, I know all about your 2 daughters. I've read your diary!
Lily: You leave them out of this.
Milo: Oh but I know the truth! Before the orphanage, you hated yourself. You always thought you were selfish and you projected your hatred on your 2 daughters. Who always reminded you of your failures!
Lily: Milo, please stop talking about my-
Milo: Your past? Your daughters? You hated your own biological daughters! Because they reminded you too much of yourself. And by the time you realized what you did and wanted to make it up to them, It was too late, so you took in a child that lost his parents. In hopes that you would redeem yourself! By giving the love you should've given to your daughters! That's why Mitchel is your favorite! You really do see him as your own son! But me? No, you pity me. That's right you pitied me before, you're repulsed by me now.
Lily: … I am repulsed. By what you've done. By what you've become. Whatever this thing is, you're not up to it.
Milo: There's no shame in what we are. We are the few against the many.
*He claws Lily's stomach.*
Milo: Tell Mitchel! tell him I'm going to kill as many as I want!
*He then punches her across the room.*
Milo: Grahhh!!!
Lily: Milo…

*Flash to a 9 year old Milo.*
Milo: So, when's Mitchel coming back?
Lily: He'll be here in the summer. And you two will be able to play again!
Milo: Will you play with us too?
Lily: Of course I will.
Milo: … Mother Lily, I know you're not my mom, but you're like my mom.
Lily: I know, I treat all the kids here in the orphanage like my own children.
Milo: Why?
Lily: Because… Well, God saw my sins. And I've come to help all the children to repent for my sins.
Milo: You sinned?
Lily: I wasn't always a good woman, Milo. But I've learned since then I was wrong, and I'm trying to be better. It's called redemption, and everyone deserves to be given a second chance.
Milo: Except for those bullies at the school.
Lily: Well, not everyone takes the second chance. Redemption is only for those who work towards it. A person who is truly sorry will eventually find peace.
Milo: hmmm.
*End of flashback*

*Milo ties up Lily.*
Lily: … I'm sorry if I ended up favoring Mitchel. Mitchel was only a baby when I fell in love with the little bundle of joy. I've always treated the children as if they were my own kids but I guess there was always something special about Mitchel that made me connect with him more. He has a gift. He always had. If there was an answer to his disease, he would be smart enough to find it. I always did see him more as my own son… but a mother learns to split her love for her children. You were my son as well, Milo. I cared for you when no one else did. And I'm sorry if I didn't show enough love to you… *cough*
Milo: … I don't care anymore. As far as I'm aware, you're dead to me.
*He takes off flying, but just as he leaves he does make a face of regret. As if it pained him to say that to Lily. But he quickly shakes it off and focuses on his next target.*

*Morbius and the gang are now at the Oscorp labs.*
Luffy: Wooooahh! This place is so cool!
Morbius: Don't touch anything. You could explode or poison yourself.
Luffy: … Oh.
Stroud: You know none of us had to go through any trouble if you had just told us that your friend was behind the deaths.
Rodriguez: Yeah running away from us didn't look good on you.
Morbius: Sorry, but I really did think I was guilty at the time. I didn't know Milo would've been capable of… all this.
Nami: You told me you had 2 brothers. I'm guessing this Milo guy is one of them.
Morbius: Yes… I mean I knew he was bullied by people, but I didn't think he would ever lash out.
Rodriguez: Well, sometimes ya don't really know someone. Like my ex-wife. I thought she loved me, but then she left me because she turned out to be a pirate. Who would've thought!
Stroud: Really man?
Rodriguez: What? It's true.
Stroud: Unfortunately, I was able to clear the charges on the death of the nurse. There’s no evidence to support that this “Milo” killed her. You’re still a wanted man. Hell, Rodriguez and I had to sneak you through the back in order to get you and your friends in here.
*Luffy is exploring everything about the lab.*
Luffy: You have a lot of pet bats!
Martine: Yeah illegally obtained without telling anyone.
Morbius: Well, it was a fish tank, for uh, flying mammals.
*Morbius spends the next few minutes creating a new type of serum, as Luffy continues to explore the lab and see some of Morbius’ crazy writing a.k.a his math equations.*
Luffy: It's a mystery language.

*Martine reads a book about vampires.*
Martine: “He's only destroyed by a stale through the heart”. This can't be real.
Stroud: It works. I've been a paranormal investigator specializing in hunting monsters for years. Stake through the heart usually kills vampires.
Luffy: So Vampires really do exist?
Stroud: Yes. But Morbius is a special case. He wasn't raised from the dead or bitten by another vampire. He turned himself into a vampire.
Luffy: Why is that so special?
Stroud: Because he's a hybrid. Part human, part vampire. A type of dhampir.
Martine: But in this book it says dhampirs are born through the mating of man and vampire. And it also says they rarely live beyond a few years due to incompatible genes.
Stroud: Yeah. It's actually rare for dhampirs to gain their full strength due both humans and vampires having genetics that cause a disease. I've only ever met one other dhampir that was as powerful as a normal vampire and overcame that disease. But Morbius is… its like he was born with that same genetic disease and he just cured it…
Morbius: Are you suggesting one of my parents is a vampire?
Stroud: if that was true it would explain a lot. But right now I don't have proof.
Morbius: Hmmm.
*Morbius completes the new antibody.*
Martine: What is that?
Morbius: This is an antibody. It inhibits ferritin, induces a massive iron overload, instant hemochromatosis. Deadly to bats, fatal to humans.
Rodriguez: That was redundant.
Luffy: I see, you're going to stake him with it.
Zoro: Going straight for the kill.
Martine: Wait a minute, what's the second one for?
Morbius: …
Martine: Wait, you're not serious are you?
Nami: Serious about what?
Martine: You can't actually be serious!
Nami: About what!?
Martine: Mind your own business!
Nami: This is my business!
Martine: I don't recall asking you anything!
Nami: I've traveled with him so I get to know what he's up to!
Martine: What are you? His girlfriend?
Nami: Well, no but-
Martine: Then you stay out of-
Stroud: Alright settle down, you two!
Nami: She started it!
Martine: Mitchel, you're not seriously considering using that on yourself!?
Nami: What!?
Morbius: I'm forced to consume human blood every day, every 7 to 8 hours a day through night. I steal blood banks from hospitals and clinics who need it more. And if I ever run out of blood banks the vampire in me wants to hunt and kill, instincts take over, and I get the urge to go after live prey. I've done a good job only going after criminals who deserved it, until the day I've hurt my friends in trying to find a way to get rid of the vampire self
Nami: But, we forgive you for that. We know you weren't in control.
Morbius: But what happens if I lose control again? If the vampire side of me takes over completely? If I become like Milo?
Martine: So this is your solution? Injecting yourself with poison.
Morbius: I brought this into the world and it's up to me to be the one to take it out.
Luffy: No!
Morbius: Luffy?
Luffy: Morbius you can't kill yourself! What about your dream? To save people like yourself? You're just going to die without accomplishing it!?
Morbius: But, I'm too dangerous to be kept alive.
Luffy: That's not true! When you first turned into a vampire you didn't attack innocent people, you only attacked a bad guy who was about to hurt a woman. And when you saw us, you didn't attack us either!
Nami: And even when you lost control, you only attacked because Usopp attacked first.
Usopp: Did you have to bring that up…
Nami: And after the fight your vampire self had a guilty look to it.
Luffy: That monster in you isn't dumb, it knows us, recognizes us, it wouldn't hurt us on purpose! You think your too dangerous but deep down that monster is YOU, The Morbius that would do anything to save a life.
Zoro: The Morbius that goes up to a villain who hurt his friends.
Usopp: The Morbius that knows whose side he's on!
Nami: the Morbius that is capable of compassion. Everything your Vampire self is, it's still you!
Luffy: Do you get it now!? You're not dangerous, you're our crewmate! And I won't accept you killing yourself! If you're going to die, you die trying to accomplish your dreams out there! In the sea! And if you need blood to survive, I'll be happy to give you mine!
Morbius: … Luffy…
*Morbius is quite shocked yet heart warmed to know the lengths Luffy will go to make his friends happy. To have his friends alive.*
Morbius: You didn't have to… make a speech like that…
Luffy: Give me that!
*Luffy grabs the second antibody and throws it across the wall, breaking it and spilling the liquid.*
Luffy: You don't and never needed that! You're part of the crew! Alive!
*And with that, Morbius now truly realizes what he has going on. Sure, he's a vampire now, and society will most likely reject him. But he's in control of his powers, and he's got friends who love him and want him alive. Even if he no longer has a place in the world, he has a place as a straw hat pirate. And with that freedom, he now has a chance to accomplish his dream*

*Latee, everyone has fallen asleep, except for Morbius, Stroud, and Martine.*
Morbius: Alright, I think I have it planned out. Martine, you should go.
Martine: I will, I need to go to work tomorrow anyways. Connors needs help with the new interns anyways.
Morbius: Yeah.
*She kisses Morbius on the lips and then she walks out the lab, leaving Morbius and Stroud alone*
Stroud: In all my years of fighting monsters, I've never really come across one like you. One who knows what he did was wrong, and tries to make it right.
Morbius: So like a conscious?
Stroud: Yeah. Although whether the monsters I fought deserved it or not, whether they were actually good, never mattered. Because they still posed a danger to others… and yet here you are, where others want you around, alive, and well.
Morbius: I guess I'm the first
Stroud: I know I'm supposed to capture or kill you, but after everything that's happened I… I can't really do that.
Morbius: Why? Do you like me or something?
Stroud: Let's just say there's more to you then I thought. Maybe I was wrong about you. You're a good person, Mitch.
Morbius: I try.
Stroud: Look, after you kill that other vampire, you'll be free to do whatever you want. Go back to your life, be a scientist, and probably work on a better cure for your disease.
Morbius: But… I'd be back on square one. After all my years in Oscorp it took me this long to find a potential cure. I can't imagine how long it will take now. But if I'm out there, in the sea, exploring new islands… I'll be able to learn more. I'll be able to find a cure faster.
Stroud: That sounds like piracy. I mean you have a chance to go back to your old life and you want to go back with them?
Morbius: It's more freedom for me to do what I can to save others like myself. Plus, Luffy is a good friend. I have no doubt they'll have my back. Besides, my old life won't be the same if I constantly have blood donations to drink from.
Stroud: True. But I will warn you, if you go back to being a pirate, there's no coming back. And that bounty I placed on you will remain.
Morbius: I know the consequences. But I'd rather push the boundaries and take the risks, to find a cure and save my people. Then to spend more years in a building with constant ways to hold me back.
Stroud: So you've made your decision.
Morbius: Yes. Tomorrow morning I'm going with them. As soon as I take care of Milo.
Stroud: Well then I guess you better get going then.
Morbius: Yeah. You keep them safe in case Milo comes in here.
Stroud: Got it.
*Morbius then leaves into the halls, ready to confront Milo. But then he gets a call from his adoptive mother. Shocked but also excited. This was the first time in quite the long weeks that he gets to actually speak with her. So he answers.*
Morbius: Mother Lily! Hi! I haven't heard from you, I'm back in New York, I was hoping you catch up and-
*He hears coughing.*
Morbius: Lily? Are you okay?
Lily: Mitchel, I need help. I went to see Milo…
*She's struggling to breath and gurgling can be heard*
Morbius: Lily? LILY!
*Morbius then turns into his vampire form and quickly leaves the Oscorp building to go to his adoptive mother, Lily.*
