Lougetown part 8
*Usopp and Nami manage to jump onto the ship as they are being shot at.*
Marine 1: Cannons, fire!
*Cannons mounted on the island start firing at the Going Merry, creating small waves that rock the ship.*
Nami: If we stay here even a minute longer, the Going Merry will be done for!
*Nami starts raising the anchor.*
Usopp: We can’t leave yet! Luffy and the others aren’t back!
Nami: There’s no other choice. If we stay here, she’ll be sunk.
*The Merry begins to move.*
Nami: Right rudder full!
Mohji and Richie: Aaaaahhh!
Usopp: What about the rest of them?
Nami: We’ll pick them up later!
Marine 1: Don’t let them escape! After them!
Sanji: Nami!
Nami: Sanji!
Morbius: Nami! Usopp!
Nami: And Morbius!
Sanji: Wait up! I’m back!
Morbius: Don’t forget me!
Nami: Where are the others?
Sanji: Who cares? We’ll just get them later.
*The marines approach Sanji and Morbius as they try to catch up with the Merry.*
Nami: Behind you!
Usopp: Look out!
*They start fighting them off.*
Sanji: Damnit. This is endless.
Morbius: We don’t have time for this.
Usopp: We have to move closer!
Nami: But there’s no way that we can take the ship back against this current.
Usopp: Ah, damnit.
*Usopp jumps off the ship and into the water.*
Nami: Usopp!
*Usopp shoots some marines while Sanji and Morbius continue fighting.*
Nami: Sanji! Usopp! Morbius!
*Back with Luffy*
Luffy: I will make it to the sea. Then I’ll become king of the pirates.
Smoker: I’m bored. Enough talk.
*Smoker turns his hands into smoke and uses it to grab Luffy and lift him in the air.*
Luffy: What’s happening?!
Smoker: I ate the Plume Plume Fruit so my body can be smoke whenever I want.
*He then drags Luffy down into the ground.*
Smoker: What’s wrong? Had enough already?
*But Luffy gets back up.*
Luffy: Gum gum gatling!
*Luffy repeatedly punches Smoker until his body turns into smoke and his fist is caught in it.*
Luffy: Aw, crap! That’s really gross!
Smoker: My turn now. Smoke screen!
*Smoker shoots a cloud of dense smoke from his arms to blast Luffy and traps him.*
Luffy: Ok. Gum gum pistol!
*Luffy punches Smoker. But he turns his body into smoke and his fist merely goes through it.*
Smoker: Don’t you see? You’ve gotta go through me to get to the sea.
*He then appears behind Luffy and grabs his head.*
Smoker: I told you!
*Smoker flies into the air while holding onto Luffy and crashes him into the ground. With Luffy landing face first.*
Smoker: You’re not worth $30,000,000. Your luck’s run out.
*Smoker is about to pull out a jitte, but the cloaked man prevents him from doing so.*
???: I wouldn’t be so sure about that.
Smoker: It’s you!
Luffy: Hey? What’s going on? Who’s that?
Smoker: How nice. Now the government can have your head.
???: The world is still waiting for our answer.
*Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blows through the town, blowing everyone and even destroying the mounted cannons on the island. Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji and Morbius are now in the same street.*
Luffy: Can someone tell me what happened?
Morbius: I can't really explain it to you. I don't believe in magic or divine intervention but… I can't explain it either… that's a first.
*They see the Going Merry leaving the island.*
Luffy: Nami!
Sanji: We gotta go! The ship will be gone soon.
All: Right.
Luffy: Gum gum…
*Luffy grabs onto a building and stretches himself.*
Usopp: What?!
Sanji: No. He can’t.
Zoro: I’m not gonna like this.
Morbius: here we go again…
Luffy: Rocket!
*Luffy then propels himself, along with Zoro and the others to the ship.*
Nami: You’re here.
Morbius: uh… huh…
*Smoker watches the Going Merry sail from afar.*
Smoker: I’m sure he brought the wind with him. I knew it was him from the day Gold Roger was executed. He appeared like a brilliant flash of lightning, then he disappeared. It’s him.
*The cloaked man stands on top of a building and also watches the ship leave.*
???: Hahaha. Go! If that’s what you want, then by all means, make your dream happen.
Smoker: Why did you help that man? Dragon!
???: It is not our place to come between that man and his chosen path, Smoker.
Smoker: Set sail. We’re going after him.
Marine 2: What?!
Smoker: We’ll enter the sea.
Marine 2: But, Captain, you can’t abandon your post on this island. What would command say?
Smoker: Tell them… I don’t care about orders.
Tashigi: I’m coming with you!
Marine 2: Sergeant major Tashigi!
Smoker: I have to hunt down Roronoa Zoro. He’s mine. I will get revenge.
*Meanwhile, Buggy’s crew leave the island after escaping the marines thanks to the strong gust of wind.*
Buggy: That was certainly a flashy gust for all of us. I have never been one to turn down luck that’s in my favor.
Alvida: Where are we headed now?
Buggy: The open sea.
Cabaji: The open sea?
Buggy: I’m going to settle this. That boy will face me. There is nowhere he can run. We won’t stop.
Luffy: Feels like she wants to capsize!
Nami: Hey, look! A light!
Usopp: Is that a lighthouse?
Nami: It’s one of the guide posts. To the sea.
Luffy: The open sea is just up ahead.
Nami: What now?
Morbius: We continue on our path.
Usopp: Do we have to go in the middle of a freaking hurricane like this?
Morbius: Unless you wanna go back to the island crawling with marines, be my guest.
Sanji: Ok, then. I think we should say something to mark the occasion.
Usopp: Right.
Luffy: Yeah!
Nami: Let’s do it.
*Sanji puts his foot on a barrel.*
Sanji: I’m going to find the All Blue!
*Luffy joins in.*
Luffy: I’m gonna be king of the pirates!
*As does Zoro.*
Zoro: The world’s greatest swordsman.
*And Nami*
Nami: I’m going to draw a map of the entire world.
*And Usopp.*
Usopp: I’m going… to be a brave warrior of the sea!
*And finally Morbius.*
Morbius: To find a way to save everyone who has my disease!
Luffy: And now, to the sea!
*They raise their legs in the air in excitement.*
