Patty: The world’s greatest swordsman going up against Roronoa Zoro. Two masters of swordplay. What kind of fight will this turn out to be?
Yosaku: There’s no one alive who can beat our big bro! He’s the best in the world!
Morbius: Would it be wrong to bet on who’s winning?
*Mihawk removes the cross around his neck to reveal it's actually a small dagger.*
Zoro: What do you think you’re going to do with that?
Mihawk: It should be more than adequate. You wouldn’t kill a fly with a cannonball, would you? You may have a reputation on the eastern sea. But that doesn’t mean much to me. This sea is by far the weakest. Unfortunately, I don’t carry a blade smaller than this one.
Zoro: I’ve had just enough of your attitude. Now you die!
*Zoro charges towards Mihawk.*
Mihawk: You have no idea how big the world really is.
Zoro: Oni Giri!
*Zoro crosses his two swords across his chest and places the blade in his mouth horizontally behind them. Zoro then approaches Mihawk and tries to slash him. But the swordsman is able to block Zoro’s attack with just the tiny dagger.*
Zoro: What?!
Morbius: Holy crap!
Johnny: He blocked big bro Zoro’s Oni Giri!
Yosaku: That’s crazy! That attack never fails to stop an enemy!
Zoro: I can’t move my swords. What has he done? He stopped my attack with a pocket knife. This can’t be happening. He can’t be this better than me! There’s no way our skills can be this far apart! I am not far behind the world’s strongest!
*Zoro tries slashing Mihawk, but he keeps blocking Zoro’s swords.*
Zoro: You can’t be that much better than me!
Mihawk: Suck ferocious swordplay.
Pirate 1: How can he defend himself against 3 swords with just a small knife?
Pirate 2: He’s even more of a monster with a blade than the great Zoro!
Zoro: I did not devote my entire life to swordplay just to be dispatched by a toy like this!
*Zoro begins to get exhausted as he thinks of his promise to Kuenha.*
Zoro: I will defeat this man. For her!
*Zoro tries to slash Mihawk again, but he casually moves out of the way. Causing Zoro to collapse.*
Mihawk: What drives you? What weight do you carry on your shoulders? Speak up, Weakling.
Yosaku: Our big bro is not a weakling! You’ll pay for that!
Johnny: We’ll teach you a lesson!
*They try to jump in and join the fight, but Luffy stops them.*
Luffy: Get back here! Stay put!
Usopp: Luffy.
Zoro: No, I won’t lose. I refuse to be defeated. Tiger trap!
*Zoro puts his hand swords over his mouth blade. But before he can attack, Mihawk stabs Zoro in the chest.*
Johnny and Yosaku: Big bro!
Luffy and Morbius: Zoro!
Mihawk: You are defeated, yet you won’t step back. Why not?
Zoro: I don’t know. But I will not move. If I retreat just a single step, I will be shattering the promises I made. I can’t run. I would lose my honor. Without that, there would be nothing left for me.
Mihawk: That’s what defeat is.
Zoro: Then I won’t accept it.
Mihawk: Then you’ll die.
Zoro: I’d rather die than give up!
Mihawk: A strong heart indeed… he chooses death before defeat.
*Mihawk removes the blade from Zoro’s chest.*
Mihawk: State your name.
*Zoro holds two of his swords at an angle against each other.*
Zoro: I am Roronoa Zoro.
Mihawk: I’ll remember it. No one quite as strong as you has come around in some time.
*Mihawk unsheathes his sword from his back.*
Mihawk: So as a swordsman’s courtesy, I’ll use the world’s strongest black sword to defeat you.
Zoro: Thank you. I appreciate it.
Pirate 3: That’s the sword that sliced up the ship!
Zoro: So this is it. It will be the world’s strongest… or death.
Johnny: Enough, big bro! Stop it!
Morbius: Get the hell out of there!
Zoro: Three Sword Style Secret Technique: Three Thousand Worlds!
*Mihawk charges at Zoro while he rotates his swords rapidly to create momentum. But Zoro’s swords end up breaking, except the one that belonged to Kuehna, after being slashed by Mihawk.*
Zoro: I lost. Never I’m my life did I imagine that I’d lose. So this is the power of the greatest in the world.
*Zoro stands in front of Mihawk, intent on being slashed again.*
Mihawk: But why?
Zoro: Scars on the back of a swordsman are a shame.
Mihawk: Fine.
*Mihawk slashes Zoro again, injuring him further.*
Luffy: Zoro!
Mihawk: You shouldn't rush these things, young man.
Usopp and Morbius: Zoro!
Johnny and Yosaku: big bro!
Sanji: Why? He’s insane. Why fight someone who’s stronger than you? This fight’s ending was clear from the start. Don’t be stupid! Give up your ambition and live!
*Zoro falls into the water.*
Morbius: Crap! What do we do!?
Pirate 3: So this is the power of the open sea. It’s terrifying.
Pirate 4: The pirate hunter was as weak as a new born baby.
Luffy: Damn you!
*Luffy stretches his arm and tries to grab onto Mihawk, but misses.
Johnny and Yosaku: Big bro!
*They both dive into the water.*
Chef 1: That kid is some kind of freak!
Sanji: What the?!
Krieg: So that little twerp has the power of a devil fruit.
*Luffy recoils his arm and charges towards Mihawk. But he moves out of the way.*
Mihawk: Are you that young warrior’s comrade? I’m impressed with you not interfering.
*Morbius charges towards Mihawk and tries to slash him. But he moves out of the way and crashes into Luffy.*
Mihawk: There’s nothing to be upset about. Your friend will live.
*Johnny and Yosaku grab Zoro.*
Yosaku: Come on, big bro! Speak to us!
Zoro: *Cough*
Usopp: Guys, bring him on board!
*Usopp helps Johnny and Yosaku get Zoro onto their boat.*
Usopp: Don’t worry, I’ve got some medicine.
Mihawk: It’s still too far early for you to die. My name is Dracule Mihawk! You’re strong, but there is much for you to learn. No matter how many years it takes, I will hold this title as greatest in the world and wait for you. Until that day, you must hone your skills. Then seek my out, Roronoa Zoro!
Zeff: Not just anyone can earn the respect of Mihawk.
Morbius: You, what is your goal?
Luffy: To be the king of the pirates.
Mihawk: Your ambitions are even larger than your friend’s. That’s quite a task.
Luffy: Well, you just let me worry about that.
Yosaku: He’s alive!
Morbius: How is he?
Usopp: He was just unconscious.
Johnny: Say something, Big bro!
*Zoro holds his remaining sword in the air.*
Zoro: Luffy, can you hear me?
Luffy: Yeah.
Zoro: I’m sorry for disappointing you. I know you need nothing but the great swordsman in the world. I’ve let you down. Please forgive me. I solemnly swear… from this moment on… that I will never lose again! Until the day comes, and I come and take his title… I will never be defeated! Is that ok, King of the pirates?!
Luffy: Yup.
Morbius: One hell of a promise.
Mihawk: You’re a good team. I hope to see you again someday.
Krieg: Hey, “Hawkeye”! I was under the impression you had come to take my life. Weren’t you here to kill me? The ruler of the eastern sea?
Mihawk: The thought had crossed my mind. But I’ve had enough fun for today. So I’m going home to get some rest.
Morbius: Showoff…
Kreig: I don’t care if you’ve had enough, I haven’t gotten started.
Pirate 1: But sir, I don’t think it’s a good idea to keep him here.
Krieg: Now it’s time to die!
*Krieg tries to shoot Mihawk with all the guns on his armor.*
Mihawk: He just won’t learn, will he?
*Mihawk deflects the bullets with his sword and damages the ship even further. Once the dust settles, he’s nowhere to be found.*
Kreig: Damn it, be escaped.
*Luffy and Morbius return to the Baratie.*
Luffy: Usopp! Go on ahead! I’ll leave Nami to you!
Usopp: Roger! Don’t you worry bout a thing! Zoro and I will get Nami back! And make sure to get that cook to join our crew! Then in the Going merry, all of us will set sail to the sea!
*Usopp throws Luffy's hat and he catches it.*
Luffy: Let’s do it!
Morbius: Good luck!
Krieg: Alright men, we ran into a little distraction from our plan. But our assault starts now! We’re going to take that ship!
Pirates: Yes, Sir!
Luffy: Hey, pops, can I stop doing these chores if I get these guys out of here?
