Chef 1: What are you doing?!
Chef 2: If all those pirates get their strength back, the restaurant will be taken over!
Zeff: That would be true. If they still had the will to fight. Tell me, did your will submit defeat?
Chef Peepee: Don Krieg Defeated?
Carne: So not even he could do it. A pirate fleet with 50 ships couldn’t handle the open sea.
Luffy: The open sea?
Krieg: It is you, isn’t it? You’re “Red Foot” Zeff. So you’re still alive. The unrivaled pirate captain that was also the ship’s cook.
Zeff: Yes, I’m still alive. But what does any of this have to do with you? I haven’t been a pirate for years. I chose the life of a cook.
Krieg: Hahahahaha! “Chose the life of a cook” huh? You didn’t have a choice, old man. You live as a cook because the only thing you can be is a cook. You were known far and wide. “Red Foot” Zeff threw such deadly kicks but never used his hands in battle. It was said that with his mighty legs he crushed bedrock into sand and left footprints in solid steel. “Red Foot” referred to his boots, which became soaked in the blood of his enemies as he kicked them down. It really is a pity that you don’t have that precious leg of yours. I heard that rumor some time ago. How unfortunate that you had such an accident at sea. Now that your greatest weapon has been sacrificed to the sea, you’re defenseless. Completely unable to fight.
Zeff: I don’t need to fight anymore. I’m a cook. As long as I have two hands for that, I’ll be just fine. Now let’s get to the point, what do you want from me?
Krieg: You’re a man who’s sailed the perilous waters of the sea and came back unskathed. Impressive. There's sure to be a log book that details your tactics. A full year of your journey there. Give it to me, now!
Luffy: Woah! So he’s saying you’ve been around the seas, pops?
Zeff: That’s right. And I do indeed have a record of my travels. But I will never hand it over to you. You ignorant brute, that book is sacred to me. It’s the pride of the crew that I sailed with. It’s far too important to give to you.
Krieg: Alright then, I’ll take it. It is true that the sea beat me. But I will never give up on it. I am Don Krieg. In the end, it’s just another ocean. I had enough weapons, men, and ambition. The same thing I had when I conquered the eastern sea coast. But the only thing I lacked was information. I just didn’t know enough. But now, I’ll fix all of that. Once I have your log book, I’ll form another crew and seize the legendary one piece. Then I will stand as ruler of this great pirate era!
Luffy: Hold on! It’s me who’s going to be king of the pirates!
Chef Peepee: Him?
Patty: You better back off, chore boy!
Luffy: No way. Not from this.
Krieg: Did you say something, kid? I won’t allow that kind of stupidity again.
Luffy. Stupid or not, I’m just stating the facts like they are.
Krieg: This isn’t a game.
Luffy: I know. But I’m still going to conquer the entire ocean.
Krieg: No you won’t! It’s true we didn’t have the information we needed, but my fleet of 5,000 men was wiped out in just 7 days! The open ocean is hell!
Patty: One week?!
Carne: Don Krieg’s ships were wiped out in seven days?!
Krieg: Unfortunately, I don’t find your smart ass remarks amusing. If you insist on this foolish behavior, I’ll crush you right here and now.
Luffy: Go ahead if you can.
Krieg: I can and I will. It would be my pleasure to send you to an early grave, you cocky runt!
*Zoro, Usopp and Morbius are now suddenly behind them.*
Zoro: What’s going on, Luffy? Need a hand?
Usopp: If you don’t need help, that’s ok too!
Morbius: That guy sure does look tough.
Luffy: Oh hey guys. I appreciate the offer, but I can handle this clown.
Usopp: Oh that’s too bad! But if you don’t need any help, who am I to argue? Us figures are just going to sit this one out! Holler if you need us-
Morbius: Be quiet, Usopp.
Krieg:… Hahahahaha! Are those 3 your crew? That’s a pretty small group you’ve got there, kid.
Luffy: That's not all! I’ve got 2 more!
Sanji: I’m not a part of your crew!
Krieg: Hm… I’ll deal with you later. Right now I’m going to go feed my men. Those who don’t wish to die can leave the restaurant now and escape that fate. The only things I’m after are the log book and this ship. However, if you wish to stay and be slaughtered I have now problem burying every one of you at sea. Just know that.
*Krieg walks off with the bag of food.*
Morbius: That guy is an asshole.
Gin: I’m so sorry, Sanji. I never thought it would be this way.
Zeff: It’s not your fault, sailor. Every cook in this restaurant did what they thought was right. That’s all there is to say about that.
Patty: But boss, why are you acting like you’re taking Sanji’s side?! This mess is his fault!
Chef 1: Yeah! He started this whole thing
Chef Peepee: He’s going to put the restaurant out of business!
Zeff: You damn fools don’t know what you’re talking about! None of you know what it’s like to be on the brink of starvation. To have no food and water on the open ocean. There is no way you can understand what a terrifying ordeal that is. It’s the most difficult situation a man could face.
Patty: What are you talking about, Zeff?
Zeff: The difference between all of you and Sanji is that Sanji knows. If all you’re going to do is moan and complain, then leave this place and never come back.
Chef Peepee:… sorry guys, but I want to live.
*Chef Peepee exits the Baratie.*
Patty: I for one am going to stay and fight! I couldn’t live with myself if I accepted defeat!
Chef 1: I’m staying too!
Chef 2: Yeah, this restaurant is all I have!
Gin: What are you doing?! You do know how powerful Krieg is, right?!
Sanji: Hey, Gin. Listen up, because I’m only going to say this once. Feeding someone who’s hungry is my sacred moral duty. But now that your crew is now well fed, I have no obligation to them. With a clean conscience I can beat all of them into a bloody pulp. If anyone tries to take the restaurant, I’ll kill them. Got that?
Patty: You’re a real head case, Sanji. Feeding them and now killing them?
Sanji: Can it.
Luffy: See, this guy’s awesome.
Usopp: Who cares how awesome he is?! We need to follow that chef’s lead and get out of here right now!
Zoro: It is Don Krieg, but he’s in pretty bad shape.
Morbius: Not to mention his men are probably in the same condition.
Luffy: I’ve got to fight Krieg. He’s a rival that I’ve got to take down. By the way, Gin, you said you didn’t know anything about what goes on at the seas but you’ve been there. That doesn’t make any sense.
Gin: Nothing makes sense now.
Morbius: What happened out there?
Gin: What happened to us on the 7th day of our voyage through that cursed sea… I don’t know if it was a dream or reality. I saw things that I can’t bring myself to believe. I know it’s impossible for the entire 50 ship fleet… to be completely eradicated by a single man!
*Everyone is shocked.*
Gin: It all happened so fast. As soon as this man appeared, he began to systematically sink ships one after the other. If that raging storm hadn’t come upon us, then that monster would have deserted our flag ship. I don’t know if a single ship made it out. It all seems like a terrible nightmare burned into my memory. I just want to forget…
Morbius: Who was it? That large green monster that attacked Harlem?
Gin: No, it was someone else… his eyes… They were like hawks. Sharp and murderous. His gaze alone felt like the cold hand of death.
Zoro: What did he say…?
Zeff: Well then, that can only be the one known as “Hawkeye”. Your description of his heartless gaze is proof of his identity in of itself. But the way you said he decimated your fleet confirms it without a doubt.
Zoro: “Hawkeye” Mihawk!
Luffy: You know him, Zoro?
Zoro: Yeah, I do. He’s the man I’ve been looking for. Mihawk is the whole reason I set out to sea.
Sanji: Could he have had some kind of score to settle with you guys?
Gin: We didn’t do anything to him.
Zeff: Perhaps you disturbed him in the middle of a nap.
Gin: Stupid cook! Why would he kill us over something so trivial?!
Zeff: There’s no reason to shout. That’s just an example.
Morbius: An example?
Zeff: I thought you’d like a little advice on what kind of place the sea is.
Usopp: And what kind of place is that?
Zoro: He probably means that anything can happen there.
Usopp: Luffy, do we really have to go there?! I think I prefer staying in these shallow waters!
Luffy: That’s so awesome! This is going to be such a blast!
Usopp: Do you understand the concept of danger?!
Morbius: If he did, none of us would be here right now.
Zoro: Finally, my life goal will be achieved on the open sea. My rival is out there somewhere and I’m going to find him.
Sanji: Are you really that stupid? It’s idiots like you that end up dead.
Zoro: That may be true, but lay off the name calling. I devoted my entire life to becoming the world’s greatest swordsman. I made my choice, so I’m the only one who gets to call me stupid.
Morbius: And I spent my entire life on the brink of death. And I’m not going to spend my second one running away when things get tough.
Luffy: Me too!
Usopp: Me too! It only seems fair!
Zoro: Shut up, stupid.
Sanji: Morons…
Patty: Enough! Do any of you maggots understand the situation we're in?! There’s an enormous ship docked near our little restaurant and it’s none other than Don Krieg’s flag ship! So why don’t we check back into reality and deal with this?!
*All of Krieg’s men have eaten and regained their strength.*
Pirate 1: We’re alive!
Pirate 2: We escaped certain doom!
Krieg: That’s right. I’m glad you all made it. Cause I’ll need a healthy crew to go back to the sea.
*The crew then looks scared.*
Krieg: Why the long faces?
Pirate 3: Why are we going back there, sir?
*Krieg shoots him.*
Krieg: Any other objections? Now first, we need to take over that floating restaurant. Then we can abandon the wreck we’re on before it falls apart. Don’t worry about the enemy. They’re just a bunch of cooks. It won’t take much to crush them. Now attack!
*Everyone in the Baratie hears Krieg’s men approaching
Chef 1: You hear that?! They’re coming!
Chef 2: The restaurant is ours! And we’ll fight to the death to keep it that way!
*Just before Krieg and his men can attack the restaurant, it is suddenly cut into pieces.*
Luffy: What?!
Morbius: Holy shit!
Krieg: What's going on?!
Pirate 1: Sir, something’s cut the ship!
Krieg: But that’s impossible!
*The Baratie begins to shake from the impact of the attack on the ship.*
Zeff: Raise the anchor or we’ll sink with them!
Zoro: Wait, Nami and the guys are still out there on the ship!
*They run outside and find Johnny and Yosaku in the water.*
Johnny: Hey!
Yosaku: Big bro Zoro!
Morbius: It’s Johnny and Yosaku!
Luffy: Are you both ok?!
Nami: What happened to the ship? And where’s Nami?
Johnny: I don’t know how to say this, but she and the ship are gone! Big sis Nami…
Yosaku: Took off with all the treasure!
Luffy, Zoro, Usopp and Morbius: She did what?!
