*The rebel ships get into view of the Death Star.*
Rebel pilot: Look at the size of that thing!
Rebel captain: Cut the chatter, Red Two. Accelerate to attack speed.
Morbius: Alright Luffy, shoot everything but our ships.
Luffy: Got it.
Rebel captain: You two just follow our lead. You weren’t loaded with photon torpedos, so you’ll have to watch our backs.
*All the ships begin their assault on the Death Star. Turrets on the battle station try to shoot down the rebels.*

Imperial officer: We count 30 rebel ships, Lord Vader, but they're so small, they're evading our turbolasers.
Darth Vader: We'll have to destroy them ship to ship. Get the crews to their fighters.

Rebel captain: There's a lot of fire coming from the right side of that deflection tower.
Biggs: I'm on it. I'm going in. Cover me, Porkins.
Porkins: I'm right with you, Red Three.
*They manage to take out a deflection tower.*
Porkins: I've got a problem here.
Biggs: Eject.
Porkins: I can hold it.
Biggs: Pull up!
Porkins: No, I'm al-
*But Porkins’s ship gets blown up.*
Morbius: Guys, we only have 20 minutes before this thing kills everyone!
Obi Wan: Luke, trust your feelings.
Rebel commander: Squad leaders, we've picked up a new group of signals. Enemy fighters coming your way.
Luke: My scope's negative. I don't see anything.
Biggs: Pick up your visual scanning. Here they come.
*TIE fighters engage the rebels.*
Morbius: Shoot any that aren’t in my sights Luffy!
*Luffy starts shooting at the TIE fighters. One of them destroys another x wing.*
Luke: You've picked one up! Watch it!
Biggs: I can't see it!
*A TIE fighter chases Biggs.*
Biggs: He's on me tight. I can't shake him!
Morbius: We’re a little busy over here!
Luke: I'll be right there.
*Luke shoots the TIE fighter chasing Biggs.*

Darth Vader: Several fighters have broken off from the main group. Come with me.
*Two TIE fighter pilots follow him.*

Rebel captain1: Watch your back, Luke. Watch your back. Fighters above you, coming in.
*One of the TIE fighters hits Luke.*
Luke: I'm hit, but not bad. R2, see what you can do with it. Hang on back there.
*R2 begins to repair the x wing while he and Luke are being chased by the TIE fighter.*
Luke: I can't shake him!
Wedge: m on him, Luke. Hold on.
*Wedge blasts the TIE fighter.*
Luke: Thanks, Wedge. Good shooting, Wedge.
Rebel captain 2: Red Leader, this is Gold Leader. We're starting our attack run.
Rebel captain 1: I copy, Gold Leader. Move into position.

*Vader leads 2 TIE fighters in his own ship.*
Darth Vader: Stay in attack formation.

Rebel captain 1: Stay in attack formation.
*A group of Y wings begin their trench run.*
Rebel captain 1: The exhaust port is marked and locked in. Switch all power to front deflector screen. How many guns do you think, Gold Five?
Rebel pilot: Say about 20 guns some on the surface, some on the towers.
Rebel captain 1: Switch to targeting computer.
Rebel pilot 1: Computer locked. Getting a signal.
*The guns in the trench stop shooting at them.*
Rebel pilot 2:: The guns! They've stopped!
Rebel captain 1: Stabilize your rear deflectors. Watch for enemy fighters.
Rebel pilot 1: They're coming in!
*Vader and his TIE’s follow them.*
Vader: I'll take them myself. Cover me.
TIE pilot: Yes, sir.
*Vader shoots one of them down.*
Rebel pilot 2: It's no good. I can't maneuver.
Rebel captain 1: Stay on target.
Rebel pilot 2: We're too close.
Rebel captain 1:Stay on target.
Rebel pilot 2: Loosen up!
*Vader shoots another down, forcing the remaining Y wing in the trench to retreat.*
Rebel captain 1: Gold Five to Red Leader, lost Tiree, lost Hutch.
Rebel captain 2: I copy, Gold Leader.
Rebel captain 1: They came from behind-
*But Vader shoots him down.*

Imperial officer: We've analyzed their attack, sir, and there is a danger. Should I have your ship standing by?
Tarkin: Evacuate in our moment of triumph? I think you overestimate their chances.

Morbius: I don’t mean to be the bearer of bad news, but we’ve only got 3 minutes left!
Rebel captain 2: Red boys, this is Red Leader. Rendezvous at mark 6.1.
Rebel pilot 1: This is Red Two flying toward you.
Rebel pilot 2: Red Three standing by.
Rebel commander: Red Leader, this is Base One. Keep half your group out of range for the next run.
Rebel captain 2: Copy, Base One. Luke, take Red Two and Three. Hold up here and wait for my signal to start your run.
Luffy: What about us?
Rebel captain 2: stay with them. Watch their backs.
*3 x wings begin their trench run.*
Rebel pilot 2: We should be able to see it by now.
Rebel captain 2: Keep your eyes open for those fighters. There's too much interference. Red Five, can you see them from where you are?
Luke: No sign of any- Wait. Coming in.35.
Rebel captain 2: I see them.
*Vader and his TIE’s follow them.*
Luffy: That one ship is too fast!
Morbius: you’re telling me.
Rebel captain 2: I'm in range. Target's coming up. Just hold them off for a few seconds.
Vader: Close up formation.
Rebel captain 2: Almost there.
*Vadwr shoots down one of the x wings.*
Rebel pilot 2: You'd better let her loose. They're right behind me.
Rebel captain 2: Almost there.
Rebel pilot 2: I can't hold them.
*Another X wing gets shot down.*
Rebel captain: It's away!
*He fires the torpedos at the exhaust port.*
Morbius: It's a hit!
Rebel pilot: Negative, negative. It didn't go in. It just impacted on the surface.
*Vader shoots the rebel captain’s ship.*
Luke: Red Leader, we're right above you. Turn to.05. We'll cover for you.
Rebel captain 2: Stay there. I just lost my starboard engine. Get set up for your attack run.
*Vader shoots down the captain.*
Luke: Biggs, Wedge, let's close it up. We're going in full throttle. That ought to keep those fighters off our back.
Wedge: Right with you, boss.
Luke: Luffy, morbius, follow us. If they start shooting, keep them off our back.
Morbius: We’re on it!
Biggs: Luke, at that speed, will you be able to pull out in time?
Luke: It'll be just like Beggars Canyon back home.
Biggs: We'll stay back far enough to cover you.
Luffy: Let’s go!
*They begin their trench run.*
Luke: My scope shows the tower, but I can't see the exhaust port.
Wedge: Are you sure the computer can hit it?
*The turrets open fire on them.*
Luke: R2, that stabilizer's broken loose again. See if you can't lock it down.
R2: Beep beep boop.
*Vader and the TIE’s follow them.*
Wedge: Fighters coming in.3.
*Luffy tries shooting them, but Vader shoots their ship and damaged the gunner’s seat.*
Luffy: It’s not working! I can’t shoot!
*Wedge gets hit by one of the TIE’s.*
Wedge: I'm hit! I can't stay with you! Get clear, guys. You can't do any more good back there.
Wedge: Sorry.
*Luffy, Morbius and Wedge are forced to pull up.*
Vader: Let them go. Stay on the leader.
Biggs: Hurry, Luke. They're coming in much faster this time. We can't hold them.
Luke: R2, try and increase the power.
R2: Beep Beep boop.
Biggs: Hurry up, Luke! Quick!
*Vader shoots down Biggs.*
Morbius: Hurry up Luke! We’ve got less than a minute left!
Luke: I know! Just keep any other enemy ships from coming in!
Darth Vader: I'm on the leader.

3P0: Hang on, R2.
Nami: Come on you guys.

*Luke turns in his targeting computer.*
Obi Wan: Use the Force, Luke. Let go, Luke.
Darth Vader: The Force is strong with this one.
Obi Wan: Luke, trust me.
*Luke turns off his computer.*
Rebel commanders: His computer's off. Luke, you switched off your targeting computer! What's wrong?
Luke: Nothing. I'm all right.
*Vader shoots Luke’s ship, damaging R2.*
Luke: I've lost R2!

Imperial officer: The Death Star has cleared the planet. Rebel base in range.
Tarkin: You may fire when ready.

Luke: Can you guys take them out?
Morbius: We can’t. It’s not just Luffy's guns that are damaged.
*Vader prepares to shoot down Luke.*
Darth Vader: I have you now.
*But one of the TIE fighters gets shot down.*
Darth Vader: What?!
Han: Yahoo!
*Reveals to be the millennium falcon that shot it down.*
Luffy: It’s solo!
Morbius: He came back!
TIE pilot: Look out!
*The other TIE fighter gets blasted, causing Vader’s ship to be launched into space.*
Han: You're all clear, kid! Now let's blow this thing and go home!
*Luke manages to successfully fire the torpedoes into the exhaust port.*
Morbius: Now let’s get the hell out of here!
*All the remaining rebel ships and the falcon escape before the Death Star explodes, destroying it.*
Han: Great shot, kid! That was one in a million!
Obi Wan: Remember, the Force will be with you always.
*Vader is forced to flee.*

*Luke and the others return to the base.*
Leia: Luke!
*Luke and Leia hug each other.*
Han: Hey!
Luke: I knew you'd come back. I just knew it.
Han: Well, I wasn't going to let you get all the credit and take all the reward.
Leia: Hey, I knew there was more to you than money.
Luffy: You’re alright, Solo.
*They pull R2 out of Luke’s ship.*
Luke: Oh, no!
3P0: Oh, my. R2, can you hear me? Say something. You can repair him, can't you?
Tactician: We'll get to work on him right away.
3P0: You must repair him. Sir, if any of my circuits or gears will help, I'll gladly donate them.
Luke: He'll be alright.
Usopp: Now that this whole thing is over, can one of you bring us back to earth please?
Leia: We'll bring you back to your planet. But first there’s something that must be done first.

*Later, the rebellion holds a celebration for Luke and Han for their bravery and are both given gold medals.*
Nami: I can’t believe you guys turned this down.
Usopp: They would have seen you guys as heroes.
Luffy: Nah, I don’t need one of those.
Leia: We would appreciate your help in the future.
*Leia hands them a communicator.*
Leia: In case of an emergency.
Morbius: Just no more blowing up moon sized battle stations.
*The rebellion cheers for the heroes that gave them hope in the galaxy.*
